"Just purchased a box"
I recently purchased a box of Siglo IIIs. They're indeed wonderful smokes at a fair price. This box of 25 came from June 2006. I should have let them rest in the humidor for a while but decided to try one this morning after receiving them yesterday. The flavors were all there and the classic Cohiba taste and aroma were present. The ash was beautiful as it was near 3 inches before I decided to roll it against the ashtray (you never want to ash on yourself while driving). All in all I feel it was a great purchase. I can't wait for my Siglo VIs to arrive!

"getting better"
This was a young one from aug 06. Some good creamy cohiba taste, but still a little young tasting. perfect draw, no burn issues, with lots of smoke. Not too spicy and a little stronger in the last 1/3, overall a good smoke, look forward to putting some age on them.

"Enjoy the moment"
I had one two days ago again after few months, I love this cigar and always have it after some special occasion, just sit with my wife in the park or at the sea in the evening and taste the cigar and the moment. When not lit yet there's always that characteristic aroma with a bit earthy accent which always makes the experience stronger. Then when lit once happened that in the beginning it didn't burn even but after a while it settled down. Rich smooth taste, not too spicy, in the end gets a bit stronger. Draws really well and produces nice smoke that slowly evanesce. Leaves a great feeling in the mouth and throat some time after smoking. This cigar is perfect to just sit down and let the whole world slow down and just enjoy the moment. I recommend.

"Cohiba time"
Bought a box. Some inconsistencies. When good: creamy, rich Cohiba flavor, lots of smoke, great mouth feel. But: some bad burns related to soft construction, sometimes bitter at the end. It's a Cohiba, and it's great yet . . . I would probably give the nod to Magnum 46's.

"Great cuban"
This cigar was incredible. Probably one of my favorite cubans. Rated 91 by cigar aficionado. Great smooth creamy taste. Perfect construction. Great price for such an amazing cigar.

"Cohiba Siglo III."
Maintained @ 66% Humidity, For 6 months, before tasting. Clipped nicely, with an X cut, from my Colibre Chancellor, An even toast, made for a nice even light, producing volumes of smoke. Prelight aroma was, of roasting nuts. Bad jokes can start here. On the initial light, the flavor of almonds, with hints of vanilla, explode onto the palet. The flavors stay consistent, and if anything, build in strength. Despite its’ diminutive size, this smoke really packs a punch. As the strength grows, the flavors become more complex, adding the flavor of cinnamon and nutmeg, to the mix. It just kept growing in strength, and flavor down to the nub. Good thing I had a very large meal, as this smoke would make your head spin, on an empty stomach. I do believe this smoke may be a little young, but, It will age very nicely. I really would like to revisit this smoke, in the near future. Later Dave (A.K.A. Homebrew)

"Very nice"
This was a good cigar. The flavor was mostly that of spicy Cuban tobacco with some creaminess, but some nutmeg and cinnamon came through towards the end. The draw was perfect, but the stick itself was quite soft which caused some minor burn problems. Overall, a very good experience, but not worth twice the price of most Habanos.

"Pretty tasty"
Smoked a couple of these recently when I was overseas. A pretty cigar, taste is smooth and refined. Construction is TOP. I wish they were cheaper of course, but I like this one almost as much as the VI and I in this line.

"A great past time cigar"
I like medium to full bodied cigars. This was one of the smokes I use to smoke at least once a week when I was abroad. It's smooth nutty and very creamy. A nice medium bodied cigar. Cohiba is like a filet mignon of cigars. Always a good choice but there are many fine dishes out there to try from around the world.

"Smooth and creamy"
Another great Cohiba, smooth and creamy with a nice punch. Coffee and spice and other things nice. Burn and draw excellent in this well constructed smoke. A nice balanced cuban. A very nice gift from a good friend. Thank you sir.

"nice but..."
Sweet and smooth in the begining and gets bolder but remains smooth. Drawback... Value. Mag 46 or Punch Punch can be obtain for $100 less per box.

"Good overall"
The store at the Peninsula in Hong Kong that I bought these from was excessively humid, so much so that they were slightly mushy when I bought them. Fortunately I had a few days there, so they could settle down a bit. Even so, the first bits were a tad bitter from the over-humidification. This disappeared fairly fast and turned toasty and medium in body with coffee and charry overtones. The flavor stayed smooth and even to the nub. Another quality Cohiba.

"A bigger Siglo II, that's good!"
Reminded me of a larger Siglo II. Cohiba grassy taste, nice punch, and creamy/spicy hints added up to a wonderful experience. White ash, nice construction, even burn, great draw. Do you expect any less from a Cohiba? The answer is NO!

"one of the best"
I love this cigar, it is so flavorful. I've smoked a few from a box I bought a couple months ago, and the longer they sit in my humidor, the better they taste. It is medium to full bodied with wonderful complex "cohiba" flavors. Flavors of wood, leather, and a sweet almost caramel-like taste at the end make this one of my favorites!

"A Great Cohiba"
I recently started to smoke these cigars. It is a well made cigar with a good draw and burn. Though on I usually have to re-light towards the end. It is mild and creamy with a mild cedary finish. I like them mest in the mourning or before lunch.

"sometimes great"
I really want these to be great cigars, - they look so great in the humidor. Sometimes they come through, too often not. They offer an unusual cedar/herb/almost citrus flavor when young, which mellows with age, (a good lonsdale is hard to find).

"Another Great Cohiba"
Simply one of the best cigars made (Cohiba's). All of their lines are great smokes. Though I've had smoke a couple with slightly firm draws, their taste is unique, and unquestionably, Cohiba. Great smokes, worth a place in my Humidor Hall of Fame.

"overpriced"
Strong, but had a nice, consistent, cedar, oily "cuban" flavor. Smoked uneven. Relit 3 times. Gobs of smoke. For $25 one could buy at least 3 cigars that are just as good but not "cuban". Glad I tried this though.

"A wonderful smoke"
I cannot understand the reviews below - perhaps fake victims...? I was sent a fairly recent box (Nov '01) from Switzerland and they are wonderful - a lovely, dark and oily colorado wrapper, the classic Cohiba cream, ideal draw... need I go on? Don't be put off by these other reviews, at their best the Siglo III is up there with the best.

"2001 production"
Great reddish oily wrapper...great aroma...flavor started out great and turns a bit harsh at 1/3 left...tends to burn on 1 side and gets too hot when 1/3 left. Overall, good tabacco handicapped by construction

IT IS ADVERTISED AS ONE OF THE BEST AROUND BUT I THINK THEY WERE QUITE YOUNG (EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE TOLD TO BE AGED BEFORE BOXED..)I DECIDED TO LEAVE THEM IN THEIR BOX FOR ONE MORE YEAR AND TASTE ONE AFTERWARDS.

Some spice and cedar with a short finish. Shallow complexity in this medium-full bodied smoke. In general, Cohibas are highly overrated!
