Good flavor, but not the powerhouse I expected. Not bad for a bundle cigar.

Good cigar. Good flavor. Very smooth
and great, even burn. These are not
the best looking cigars, but seem to
be consistently well constructed and
easy to smoke. I am not always a R&J
fan, but I recommend the Cazadores.

"Not like they used to be but still good."
I used to buy these all the time because they had thatrough Havana taste I crave. they are still good but have lost some of that horsepower. Plus you get an occasional tough draw in the box.

"Enjoyable"
A little tight, have found this on other small gauge R&J's. This had a nice woodsy spice with light floral aroma. Nice overall.

"tasty cigar"
I been hearing about the 2006 RyJ Cazadores so made a purchased. Wow... nice. med body sweet woody and a hint of something I can't put my fingers on but reminds me of something I smell or tasted when i was a child. Very Enjoyable.

"straight foward"
Totally agree with icehog on this one. Very straightforward tobacco taste and not as strong as I was led to believe, but a very nice smoke. Good draw, lots of smoke a little pepper at the start.

"Straight Ahead"
There's nothing sublime about this cigar, but the floral element on the nose is outstanding. Mostly it's straight ahead tobacco, a little harsh at times, but otherwise medium-full and quite satisfying. It's worth picking up for the aroma alone. I've only had the Mille Fleurs in this line-- the cazadore is similar, just writ a little larger, and a little less peppery. An interesting experience!

"Not Too Strong"
Lots of BOTLs had been telling me to watch out for this cigar, it is an azzkicker....that wasn't the case. Nice looking cigar with a relatively firm draw and mostly even burn, with little complexity. It was pretty much a straightforward tobacco flavor, although very good tobacco and very enjoyable. Not as powerful nor as flavorful as I expected though.

"smooth/potent"
A nice wet packed cigar that will age alot slower than most of your sticks. It does have that young taste to it, however that is the goal with any cazadores. Nice raw powerful tobacco flavors. Wood and coffee are most noticeable. Some nice spice towards the middle. Excellent wrapper taste, like all Cuban Romeo Y Julieta's. Awesome finish. Full bodied. Superb daytime smoke with black coffee or some espresso.

"Not Bad"
Its a fair smoke. I think this is a value smoke.
I paid about $6.60 a stick.
The flavor is sbold but no where near overpowering. The flavor is a little course or rough. I think this cigar could really smooth out over time.

"Worth"
I opened a recent '06 box of these rustic Romeos, and was expecting something harsh and too strong for prime time. Although still young, and tannic, I really have been enjoying these full-bodied and full-flavored cigars. The RyJ profile is recognizable. Just right for when you feel like something "untamed".

"Love 'em"
I really like these. They're straightforward but I love the flavor. They're full-flavored, but I don't think they're quite as strong as some folks make them out to be.

"fair for a cuban"
flavors are relatively flat with a hint of harshness in the taste. good dark brown wrapper with a slight rough finish. the smoke is very consistent from end to end. I feel the Cazadores are overpriced relative to the wonderful cuban flavorful bouques sought after, however it is a good sized cigar for the value.

"NOT your father's RyJ!!!"
My first box of Cazadores, and I can't believe it took me so long to discover. Much more full flavored than one might expect, and it is not for the faint of heart...but, it is a wonderfully rich and strong cigar. RyJ calls this stick a corona, but at 43 x 6.3, it's really a lonsdale, and it is a full hour and 20 minute smoke. Spicy, old-school Habanos cigar that is one of the best deals out there. I paid about 6.50 for this, and now that I like it so much, the price is sure to go up, lol. Construction is good to great, they feel great in the hand, and the bouquet is something else. A ton of spice with one of the best cedar finishes this side of a Cohiba Siglo IV. I recomment this cigar to anyone that enjoys a full-flavored smoke, and you'll be very pleasantly syrprized if you haven't as yet tried them.
