"I agree with Red Badge"
Just bought a second box. Much better than the other one. A great improvement. I've heard Luis had been making chances in production and it shows.

"Very good"
Like my other review for Sabor Cubano Torpedo I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Sanchez at an event in Palm Beach. He was a sponsor at a fundraiser. This Churchill is exquisite to say the least. Very smooth with no after taste. Well constructed, even burn and a good draw. Like the Sabor Torpedo a solid white ash.

"Disappointing"
Nice looking stick, finely veined wrappers, fairly even burn, draw a little on the tight side, not bad for the money, just missing something in the flavor department.

"You must remember this: GREAT value."
O.K., I'll admit it: my rating is probably inflated a bit because I like they way Luis Sanchez is running his business. Use your resources to make the best cigars you can, cut out the middle man as much as possible, and give the smoker a great value. This is probably the best go-to cigar value out there. Are there others I'd like to keep in my regular rotation because they have more oomph, more complexity, more horsepower? Sure, if I can afford them. This churchill is a fine smoke and a tremendous value. "Luis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

"Agree with ThickGreySmoke"
Bought this based on the reviews here, and just don't get it. This was average at best...at best. I smoked two, and they were identical. Identically bland and grassy.

"CHURCHILLATIS # 2"
Thank you Top25cigar for making me have another "CHURCHILLATIS" attack!! I've tried to order from different sites and they are all out!! I could lie and say this cigar is the worst on the planet or downright nasty but that would be a lie. All I have to say is these are fine good smokes!

"Disagree with ratings, don't get it."
Appearance was nice, pre- light aroma was weak. Construction was OK, except the cap began unraveling and there was an obvious hole in the wrapper. The draw was tough from start to finish. Ash was dark dark grey and held for over 2 inches. Flavor was mildly harsh tobacco for the first half, slightly better the second half with indistinguishable hints of flavor. Left bitter after taste for several hours. I had one re-light half way through. I thought the cigar was OK in general, but certainly NOT the high rating this board has given it. I ordered five, I will let them age but I will never order any more.

"Not my cup of tea"
No doubt the reviews are right on. However, the taste is lacking for me. I have had a box in the humi for over a month and I have smoked about 6. They are good, but ... everybody's taste is different.

The Churchill is a superb smoke. Complex, subtle sweetness, not overpowering. Tastes like a 20 year old aged fine stogie.

"Believe the reviews"
The price for this cigar cannot be beat. It is a great 1.5 hour smoke. I personally loved the second half of this, it delivered so many intense flavors and an aroma that is hard to beat. You should buy this from Luis and the cubanshop.com, you will not be disappointed. The draw on this cigar is true perfection. As many stated, I agree that wrapper is delicate - but it's worth picking up a 25!

"Thoroughly impressed"
I bought a fiver from thecubanshop.com after reading these great reviews. I am smoking one now right off the truck, and it's good.... damn good. Do not hesitate on this one. It's the real deal. Mild-med in strength, nutty overtones, and very smooth. Construction is rock solid, and draw has been perfect. Gotta pick up a box.

"Unreal..."
This is just amazing. I cannot describe it. How can such a cigar be so inexpensive? This is among the best that I have ever had--period. The only fault that I could find is that the wrapper is a tad delicate. This is incredibly smooth and refined. What a sophisticated smoke! Yes, the cigar is under the radar, and honestly, I hope it remains that way. Let them miss out. I hope the factory remains a boutique and does not change-- we cannot have any change in the quality of this cigar. Absolutely stunning!!

"The Best ever."
Faithfull LTC customer. One of the best cigars ever. These are not for anyone looking for leather undertones with a pinch of iodine!!! When you want to "ZMOKE" the best go LTC. Luis has been around for a while so he must be doing something right. Just like the other reviewer wrote please don't go big time!

"loved it"
As I see did everyone else. Maybe my review will put this over the top to over 9 (it currently stands at 8.99). Good quality construction around a sweet, tasty cigar. Strong light colored ash holds on forever. Lots of smoke. Coffee and vanilla flavors are there. This is a great cigar.

"Believe the Hype!"
I don't usually smoke Churchills. I decided to try this stick because of all of the previous reviewers praise and descriptions. The only fault I can find (really looking TOO hard for one) is that the wrapper is somewhat delicate.
Burn is exceptional and has never required a relite. This is a smoke-to-the-nub stick if you want to. It goes perfectly with coffee or cappuccino and has a wonderful aroma. There are delicate hints of spice and pepper that waver in and out. The stick has MANY wonderful changes ranging from honey undertones to just a bit of wood. This is a true cigar classic. Great for morning or afternoon.

"Luis don't go bigtime"
What a smoke! Great taste, good construction, burns great, great draw and what a price for a stick.
Can't say enough about them. Also, email Luis and he will get right back with you. Buy 'em at http://www.thecubanshop.com/ . Luis, know you want to make the bucks, but everything is so good right now. Don't let some company buy you out or go bigtime!

"Smooooth!"
I bought a fiver of these after I read the T25 list of top 25 "under the radar" smokes. This is one nice cigar! The wrapper is silky to the touch and a gorgeous tan color. Pre-light aroma of lightly roasted nuts. The smoke was refined and smooth with hints of cedar, nuts, cream and in the 2nd half a slight hint of spice. I smoked the first half in 15 minutes, I could not put it down. I usually smoke more medium and full flavored cigars, but I'll be buying a box of these soon. Thanks for the info, T25!

"where have you been all my life"
TLC I'm not worthy. I have smoked the $30.00 sticks and the CI cheapies and I must tell you that you have a winner on your hands here. Please, please don't raise the price. Move over super premiums there is a new medium to mild bodied sheriff in town and it is the TLC Churchill. During the Superbowl, before the beer, my freinds and I lit up your sticks and the accolades about taste, look, and draw have not stopped. Thank you for a great smoke.

Perfect wrapper, draw was just right, mild to medium intensity. A slight nutty flavor with a touch of sweetness, creamy. Perfect burn and a long long gray ash. Even the women came over at the party I was at and said that it smelled great. Burned slow, a great 1.5 hour smoke.

"Dissapointed"
I finally bought a box of chrchills and smoked 7 cigars so far. The construction is absolutely great but the taste and blend are indicative of cheap tobacco. I'll stick with the Pepin blends at a bit more cost; the tobaccos are rich enough to satisfy

"CHURCHILLATIS" A condition that one gets when you don’t have enough Churchills from LTC. Now that T25C gave them a great review no one has Churchills to sell. These cigars are great; the aroma is excellent the taste is divine and the ash about 3 inches.
Well happy holidays to all and good luck finding these cigars.

"great stick"
While visiting Santiago, DR I went to see the LTC factory. Lucky to see Luis was there for the week. He showed me around answered all my questions. He suggested I smoke one of his favorite cigars “The Churchill”. I was so impressed with this cigar that I decide to write a review. This cigar was flawless. Great construction, excellent taste and aroma. I picked the cigar myself for his storage room. Luis took me to lunch at his favorite place in town. All I can say that he is one of the nicest people I have meet in this industry. Needless to say I smoked another one right after lunch and took a couple for the road.

I've been smoking these top quality cigars for over 3 years. They are great "fresh", and improve with a few months "aging" in my humidor. This was the second premium I tried and it was an improvement. I thought it was mild and took an eternity to smoke. I did not get sick of it as it seemed to be as good at the end as it was at the beginning. For the 3 bucks I paid, that is pretty darn impressive.

"an excellent churchill"
I am a notorious fan of Luis' products. I have been not smoking LTC products for a while, and it's been an enormous pleasure to rediscover the flavours of roasted nuts, white cocoa and the saffron aftertaste oh so typical of this garage producer (said in analogy with garage wines, which isn't faint praise). Appearance was excellent, with its clear wrapper; and construction traditionally good. All the flavours above blend well, and there is a very pleasant smoothness over all. An excellent stick, at a price no one can beat.

"One of the best!"
Once again, La Tradicion has a winner in it's churchill. The presentation is lovely right out of the box as each cigar is wrapped in cedar. Unwrapping the cigar reveals a beautiful natural wrapper that is in perfect condition and this leads to a nice cap that delivers a great cut. The smoke is consistent and the ash is firm and tight. The draw is great and the aroma is rich. The taste is of a medium bodied cigar that is rich in its flavor. The complexity grows during the smoke and the last third is wonderful. Highly recommended to all smokers who enjoy rich flavor in a medium tasting cigar!
