"A Mild Smoke That Is A Plain Winner!"
Luis knows his smokes and look no further than this fine example and you will likely conclude the same. I think this cigar is my new recommendation for clients coming in my store asking for a mild smoke. It's more interesting and less expensive than Macanudos. I may step on toes here, but Macanudos are damn fine mild smokes that are so consistent it is a "no brainer" to recommend them to anyone who stresses mild. To me this one is just as mild as it tones down the nuttiness and brings up the sweet creaminess with nice hints of woodiness and a clean finish. The aroma is pretty strong, but I've had people close by say it smelled good. That is nice to know when you're out in a place that allows cigar smoking.

A real solid smoke on the mild side of medium that I recommend and also regularly smoke myself. Plus, Luis is a fine person who is "hands on" and accessible - great product and great man behind product.

"I wanted to like it more"
kas is right, the second half of the cigar was more pleasant. I smoked mine right out of the box. 2nd quarter of the cigar had some aftertaste & construction issues that almost required touch-ups if I hadn't been paying attention. The flavor was mild creamy. I will give them some time in the cooler and see if there is improvement.

"wait on it"
The title of this review has two meanings. In the first place, this cigar would benefit with a little age. I got it as part of a brand sampler for about $3 a stick and left it in the humidor for maybe two months. While it was good, it would be better with some more down time, methinks. Secondly, I enjoyed the 2nd half of this cigar much more than the first. Overall, I'd describe it as mild/medium, with a stronger aroma, flavor and finish in the second half, when I caught some hints of nuttiness and creamy flavors. Excellent burn and very good draw with copious amounts of smoke. Definitely worth a try -- and made in America.
