"A pleasant smoke"
A pleasant smoke, good construction, starts out mild with a medium finish. Wrapper left a light sweet taste on my lips.

"amazing"
A beautiful cigar with a nice oily sheen and a fine cap. A near perfect draw throughout the entire hour long smoke. The first thing i noticed upon lighting this cigar was the amount of beautiful white creamy smoke that it produced, perfect for blowing rings. the well balanced and complex flavor consisted of a nice cedary flavor with a hints of nuttyness and a mellow sweet spice. the finish was long and buttery with the hints of spice building on the palate. the only area of this cigar that i was not overly impressed with was its burn, it at times had a slightly uneven burn but this was easily corrected with a few small touch ups. towards the last third of this cigar a nice sweetness became apparent and the flavor reminded me of cookie dough, that was probably just me though. an excellent cigar for any occasion.

"Good right out the boxx"
As I was packing away a box of Siglo IIs into the humidor I didn't have room for one. I took pity on it and went outside to smoke it.
Predraw was a dream with that rich cuban flavor around my face. The first couple of cm was all spicy paradise that settled into rich and savory for most of the smoke. The last 5cm inches gave way to cooler smoke that finished off nicely.
How am I supposed to age these when they're that good coming right out of the box?!

"Beginner's fave"
I've not tried that many but this Cohiba rocks. Sultry, woody, spicy....mmmm. A couple of glasses of red can knock me out so although I love cigars it's not a habit I can realistically indulge that often. Still this one's perfect for sharing on late summer nights in the city -satisfaction guaranteed.

Great full flavor, lots of smoke, easy draw, perfectly even and slow burn. The perfect cigar for a magic warm night! I am definitely going to have some more of these in the near future.

"A top notch Cuban"
This Cuban was top notch. The construction was perfect, with the triple cap and the consistent brown color wrapper... no light or dark spots. The draw was completely effortless and even though the burn started slightly uneven, it corrected itself pretty quickly. Flavors of cream, wood, and the classic Cuban sweetness previous reviews stated. A great cigar to sit on the front porch and watch the evening thunderstorms roll in.

"great!!"
this cigar was outstanding in every way and is probably the best cuban cigar i've tried...much better than the DR Cohiba medium bodied and solidly made and burned slow and even the whole way, for the price i would rather have a padron 64 or an ashton puro or vsg but since its not something i can get very often i enjoyed it at all.

Beautiful wrapper, nice construction. Right at the beginning this smoke just gives you a blast of flavor that dances in your mouth. Rich, lush thick creamy smoke with bean flavor. Long finish. Kick ass!

"Overrated and Overpriced Cigar"
Being fond of milder cigars, I'm still able to smoke a Cohiba provided I've just had a very rich meal of red meat. Spice, grass and cocoa throught are actually quite enjoyable until strong flavors of wood overpower the second half of the cigar. Frankly, to smoke one short is a challenge I don't indulge in. This is a good cigar although not worth the hype and the money. Where I reside, they are readily available so I never get duped.

"An Awesome Cigar (Unless Its A Fake)"
Every Cohiba I have smoked is absolutely top-notch. Medium full, cedary, gentle spice and a hint of that trademark Cuban sweetness. Excellent construction. I have to think that those who do not love this cigar are smoking fakes. Resort locales are notorious for selling bogus Cubans and so are many internet sites. So beware and try again if your first experience was less than an "9". Get your Cohiba from a legit. brick and mortar shop in Europe or Canada and chances are you will love it.

"My first Cuban"
Ummm....where do I begin? Was this a good cigar? Yes. Was it a magical experience? No. In fact, there is a cheap bundled cigar called "Cuban Leaf" made by Tabacalera Tropical that tastes almost IDENTICAL. I'm not kidding. And yes, it was a real Cohiba.

"One of the best Petit Coronas ever"
I absolutely love this cigar...one reason is the size...One of my top 3 "go-to" cigars is the Bolivar Petit Coronas, but I have to admit I like these better. (Note to reviewer no. 2...the Siglo II is a Petit Corona and the corona gorda size is Siglo IV) Although these are a somewhat mild smoke, and I tend to lean more towards "heavier" tastes, this leaves absolutely nothing left to be desired. They start out with that familiar Cohiba tang (my name for it, anyway!)...a bit grassy, but none of the harshness than the word conjurs up...as you smoke this work of art, new notes and flavors are added, but instead of replacing the former tastes, they combine with them. I would recommend this cigar to anybody, and I mean anybody! This stick typifies all that is the Siglo line from Cohiba, IMHO. I do, however, think they are very overpriced when you can buy a cabinet of 50 Bolivar PCs for about $260.00us including shipping, but what the heck, eh? Cigar nuts are just that, aren't we? Nuts?

"Good stuff, these '06's!"
This stick with box code POS Feb 06 came enrobed in a Colorado wrapper with medium veining. A green blemish was noted at the foot. The familiar triple cap was present. Solid construction without soft spots. Easy light. Slightly firm draw. Even burn with the need for 2 relights – one certainly because I got caught up in a conversation and neglected the cigar for too long, the other premature and spontaneous. Gray-black ash.
The first draws were grass and green wood. In the first third, a raw tobacco flavor was prominent, with mild herbal and woody notes. Hints of cream and paper were also discernible. In the middle third, the tobacco turned “sweet”, with hints of menthol on top of a mild woody undertone. The Cuban “twang” started showing through at this point. In the last third, the “twang” took on a very prominent role, with hints of orange zest on wood.
All in all, this stick was a lot more enjoyable than the 1st. It was medium bodied and showed extreme promise when it matures some more. If I had to sum it up, I’d say it was like smoking cotton candy wrapped around a 2x4. I know that doesn’t necessarily make it sound enticing, but that image kept circling my mind as I spent 50 minutes enjoying it.

"Shame about the price"
This was my first Cohiba, i'll be trying more. I found a load of nice nutty wood and spice type flavours and i got really nice aroma to back it up. I had to touch up regularly but i was smoking outdoors and a small breeze can mess up the burn. Overall a really nice short smoke, just a bit on expensive

"Great"
Since October 1st marked the first day of my new job and my next cigar would be my 50th review as a registered contributor to this site, (I did quite a few before I registered though), I thought I would fire up something supposedly “special.” I'm glad I did because this was a good cigar. In fact, it's the first Cohiba that I've liked all that much. It's probably a combination of this being a great blend and me knowing what to expect from the brand and not having too high of expectations. Whatever the reason, I liked this one a lot. It started off with sweet grassy flavors and grew fuller and richer as it was smoked. The flavor always stayed crisp and clean, but definitely got stronger. It became somewhat salty instead of sweet after a while and ended with intense yet pleasant and refined flavors. In closing, I think Brian nailed it with his comment, "Cohibas are overrated... except for this one." I’ll definitely buy a few more of these. (It would be a lot more if they weren't so expensive - I paid $13 for this one)!

"Cohiba's are overrated..."
...except for this one. I found these at a relatively good price (for a cuban) and it was one of the best cigars I've ever had. Great flavor, perfect burn (which is saying something because it was way overhumidified). I wish I could have afforded to buy the box instead of just a few singles. Note to all: Please make sure your cigars are authentic before you post. I have a feeling that several of these posters were not smoking real Cuban Cohibas. I don't blame anyone because I had smoked my fair share of fakes before I finally learned enough to distinguish the real ones.

Very bland for my tastes. Draw too firm. Definitely not worth the $23 ($65 pesos) I paid at Casa Del Habano in Buenos Aires! I could have smoked 3 RYJ Petit Coronas and had 10 times the fun for the same price.

"Inconsistent"
Burn was very poor at times, seemed to need a lot of help. Moderate in the first third, developing some wonderful sweet nutty flavours in the middle culminating in a spicy finish. Good flavour spoilt by its construction. Had better from this line. Disapointed. Not worth the price.

"Nice Lil PC"
Nice PC smoke, I brought out 3 from the same box and shared with 2 friends. One had some burn issues, the other two burned perfectly. Nice nutty flavor, not overly complex or too strong, could have used a little more "umph". Definitely will try more of these, but I prefer Party Shorts, RASCC or Boli PCs if I want a PC in most instances.

"Good things come in small packages"
I bought a box of these in St. Maarten from a reputable cigar dealer, so I know they are legitimate. I have encountered even some of the mosty savvy cigar smokers who have been taken by "Fauxhibas"...but my review will be accurate. First of all, if your cigars don't come in a mack daddy box tied with silk ribbons and with all kinds of historical data pieces on the Siglo line and Cuban stamps...you have fakes. They don't come in plastic tubes...the real labels have "Cohiba" in beautiful gold embossing on them...and they have a gorgeous color to them. They are some of the prettiest cigars that I have seen...and they taste even better. This is probably the easiest drawing cigar I have smoked...very well made...and the overall flavor profile was complex, smooth and mild to medium in strength. I am not a Cuban "snob", but they are pretty special. I will report back after some aging...

"A tale of two siglos"
Two siglo IIs purchased from the same box on the same day...one I smoked pretty soon and the other sat aging for about 9 months. The first was similar to the Siglo I, with a medium body and coffee/charry overtones on top of a nutty body. The second had dropped off to almost nothing, with very muted flavors and only occasional hints of the charry and coffee brilliance of the young cigar. My take is either they are horribly inconsistent or handle aging awfully...either of which could explain the predominance of "faux Cohibas." Maybe they aren't fakes after all, just inconsistent or aged too long.

"smooth"
this one is better than the siglo I, imo. Isn't as strong as other Cohiba cigars but doesn't disappoint, medium strength, some complexity and burns without runners, as some Isoms do, only gripe is that their a little pricey.

"Overrated?"
Having gone through the learning curve of buying "Fauxhibas" I am absolutely certain that the box I picked up are the genuine thing. Aroma, Triple cap, Acurate new band, New Tax Stamp (which has the secret color part that shows up under a black light, etc.) I can honestly say that the Siglio II's are overrated. A pretty darn good cigar, but not quite worth all the price and hype. The cuban flavor is there alright, but I don't think it is as good as a Partagas No. 4. I've smoked about a half dozen in the past 2 weeks and the burn can sometimes be uneven, but the draw is usually pretty good. I'd probably enjoy the bigger Cohibas more, but they are so expensive, I am driven to trying the less popular brands. If you can afford the price, go for it. If you want a great Cuban with a better price/value try Partagas, Bolivar or ERDM.

"How can they do it?"
After a splendid seefood lunch in Cassis (Provence - France) I felt the urgent need of a stick. I called in the local tobacconist, who had a small but quality choice of cigars.I took a Siglo II. Well, once again, I have to say that the typical Cohiba twang was there. Construction was good and look was gorgeous. Another quality cigar from Cohiba. Very expensive, for a PC, but once again value is not an issue here.

"This is the real thing"
I'm not normally a fan of Cohibas, which I find are overhyped relative to some of the other less $$ Habanos. Nonetheless, I was quite happy when three Siglo IIs arrived on my doorstep. The VI is a great, if overpriced, smoke, the I is a little firecracker. I smoke a lot of PCs so the Siglo II fits in the size range of my Partagas Shorts, SCDH el Principes, Boli CJs, etc. The rolling on these guys was just perfect, eye candy for sure. I smoked two within a few hours of one another (being a little piggie) and sent the third off to the humidor for a nap. Draw and burn were excellent, the second one was a bit uneven but it straightened out with little fuss. Taste was really smooth, refined, creamy. The only thing stopping me from stocking up on these is the price, almost double what Partagas Shorts would cost. Still, if you don't mind paying more for the brand, these are really excellent little smokes.

"Great cigar"
I've been in love with Cohiba for a while and especially like their Robusto and Siglo II. The Robusto is a little more expensive and powerfull, but the Siglo is so good that a just had to buy a box of them. Their size is perfect for me, since I'm quite restless, and their taste and flavor is everything you expect from a well made cigar.

"one of the best petit coronas in the world"
I think it's the best petit corona in the world. So much richness, flavor and complexity in a small package. Lots of coffee notes and very distinctive aroma and taste. Once you get used to smokin' these...a fake is easy to spot. If one can acquire it...it is a great value (approx $220 a box) compared to other over hype'd cigars.

"Could have been great"
Instead it was only good. Upon the initial light up I braced mysefly for a block buster smoke. The flavor was very spicy and strength was very stong. Both abated within the first inch. The creamy woody flavor made this smoke a very smokable cigar. The finish was short, flat and undistunguished. One that I will definatly try and frequent again. The wrapper was very nice, smooth and without veins or blemish. It had a perfect triple cap.

Good construction with a slighly veiny wrapper. A solidly constructed cap. A can't miss smoke! Initially extremely spicey and robust. On the intial light up, this smoke comes out swinging.
