"ok"
Box from 2000. as expected overly tight draw that opened up just a bit. It was like roasted peppers, wood, a hint of coffee and cocoa. It needed a relight 3 times. Not the best by any stretch, but ok. I'd prefer some other partagas cigars over this one. I think the tight draw is the biggest drawback though.

"Quintessential Partagas"
With age, the lonsdale reveals the essence of Partagas: it opens with a peppery flourish, then mellows into a rich woody, leathery smoke with a savory, lingering, spicy finish. The very best are from '99, '01 and '02 cabinets, but I've also had good '01 dress boxes. Watch out for overly tight rolls in '00 and '01 boxes.

"Great cigars."
I really like these. Distinctive Partagas flavor, even better after a long rest.

"On of my favorites"
I was gifted one over a year ago. Forgot about having it and ran across it rumaging through my cooler. HMMM a Party Lonsdale. Fired it up and simply had to have more. Did a split on a box from 01 and just finished the second one. Wonderful smoke, cedary with a nice bite, bit of a tighter draw than first I had. Partagas flavor and very aromatic. Great smoke.

"More great Partagas flavor"
Beautiful cigar, long thin ring gauge from 2000. Had a slightly tight draw but still lots of smoke, and a razor sharp burn. Cedary flavor throughout, with that Partagas edge.

"Too young..."
Picked this smoke up today, box date May 2005... couldn't help it and smoked it anyways, can't complain because some flavor was there and the burn was spot on but couldn't help but thinking a couple of months to a year might make a world of difference.

"I in LOVE !!"
Went to my local La Casa in Singapore... asked the owner, Jimmy, to recommend me some smokes.... he showed me 3 cabs of these babies.... from 2002 production... took the plunge and bought one cab.. lit one up and just fell in love... burn was razor sharp.. flavour was typical Partagas with peppery flavours.. burnt my fingers on the nub... Even before finishing this baby... reserved another cab for aging... now trying to scrounge more $$ to get the last cab....(ptrice paid was high as there is a huge tax in Singapore on tobacco)

"Age brings a joyous smoke"
This cigar, purchased in a cabinet several year's ago really opened my eyes to all I had heard on the benefits of being patient with Habanos and their aging. When first purchased they were strong and almost "nasty!" I thought I had made a big mistake but low and behold, I would smoke a couple each year and little by little they seemed to be improving.

Now, 4 year's later, you'd need a cart of stallions to pull 'em away from me! They have turned into the most flavorful cigar imaginable! REAL pure Partagas flavors come pouring out! The burn is straight as a razor too. Wish I had another couple cabs!
