Bolivar (Cuba) Gold Medal

great draw, contsuction, wrapper. was recent production. good burn and smoke. These are meant to age. I would put them down for 3-5 years and they will be close to perfect 10, but not right now. flavor profile included coffee, cocoa and cedar.

06 BGM had alot of flavour. Nice long finish. Beautiful tobacco with a touch of pepper, nutmeg spice, chocolate,coffee, and almonds. I thoroughly enjoyed it. had to relight once and correct a couple times. A very fine tasting smoke that I would think would age very well.

Very nice new Cuban cigar. Medium to full bodied (more towards full). Nice smooth burn and a very nice flavor.

Just that. A good bolivar cigar. Kinda' young but showed promise of that Bolivar spiciness coupled with a good balance between earthiness & full body. Really tasted a lot like an immense with that subtle hint of herbal duskiness that you get in the Immensa. One drawback is that this cigar is still very young so the overall impression was a muted one.
A good stick overall, just not sure it was worth the money!!
Was more costly as a single stick from a LCDH than comparable price in a box of 10.

This is probably one of the best cigars presentation wise. The wrappers were all very even in chocolate color. Although a very young cigar it smoked very nicely. The ash was white but fell off around an inch. The draw was nice considering the ring gauge. A very nice cigar to have and present to others although probably not worth the price per stick.

While nothing tp compare to the original release, the '07 has some serious Bolivar spice with hints of sweetness in the first 1/3rd. Picked up some serious steam the last 1/3 to the point of being near full-bodied. While age will hopefully turn this into a great cigar, it is already one of the best releases of '07. Great draw and perfect burn as well.

The Original! Don't think I can find the words to describe it adequately, almost as hard as finding the cigar. Powerful Boli taste, spicy and cedary with perfect construction and a long finish....a cigar to aspire to!

Very cedary and silky smooth, excellent burn and draw. Presentation makes yens mouth water. Not for the pocket book challenged. Very fortunate to have been gifted a couple to experience(thanks David). I can't find one bad thing to say about it. Maybe being a bit stronger would make it a 10.

This was the '05 German release not the earlier version. Gorgeous cigar, perfect construction. I really liked the taste which seemed to have oads of aromatic cedar in it. Quite unique taste among recent production cigars I've had.
