Have just started smoking these and their small size defies their strength and taste. Outstanding little cigars!

Full bodied and flavorful, a little more one dimensional than some of the other ISOM PCs. Still a good smoke.

"I like these a lot"
I had a stick from a box of 01. It is a pretty looking cigar, smooth and feels good in the hand.
Pre light draw was easy and flavorful. The pre light draw made me want more but I lingered at the cold tasting a bit.
Lit up smoothly. Burn was as expected....TOP SHELF.
This was on the lesser end of medium toward mild. Not too mild tho 🙂 Still had a variety of flavors. I was sorry to see the end of this stick.
I will go out of my way to get more of the Bolivar Petite Corona.

"Wonderful Mareva"
Wonderful mild sweetness with some spice. Good volume of flavorful, cool smoke on each puff. Excellent and consistent draw through 8 so far out of a Mar '08 box unlike many Cubans I've tried. (I know, you're supposed to age Cubans but why wait when they're this good) My only criticism is the wrapper flowers slightly at the burn line on some samples, not enough to separate but enough to ding construction points.

"Lousy draw"
Nearly half the cigars in the box were plugged so bad that they were unsmokable. The cigars that were smokable were splendid! They can go toe to toe with Montecristo #4's. Powerful notes of coffee and spice will please your palate. The draw problems trouble me. I might have had fakes but there is enough doubt that I will never buy another Bolivar again.

"Vintage 1998 - Still favorful"
I had the chance to smoke some Bolivar Petite Coronas from 1998. They're still a flavor bomb with some spicinesses. The wrapper and color were classic Bolivar quality and though 9 years old had a perfect draw.

"Good"
This was a nice smoke. While I didn't enjoy it as much as the last one I had, it was still a pleasant experience. The flavor was toasty and full, but lacked the subtle almond sweetness I remember from my previous experience. (Although after trying many Bolivars since that time, I'm beginning to think the sweetness of that first one was an anomaly). In short, it was a good cigar.

"A favorite short smoke"
The Boli PCs deliver complex flavors and ongoing strength and body. These have classic cuban twang, spice and sweetness. Currently smoking from a box of '05s. No way I could keep these around any longer.

"More, more, more. . ."
First off I usually prefer something in the PC size range as I smoke several cigars a day & the time involved in a larger smoke just dosen't work most times. Well, this has become one of my new favorites. I went through the first box so quick I had to order an SLB of 50!
The appearancw & construction is great (haven't had a problem yet), peppery when first put to your lips, spicey & creamy with hints of sweetness when smoked & finishes excellent.
This is definitely in my top 10, even my top 5!

"Hello!!!"
This vintage 1998 box pressed petite corona was one of the best cuban cigars I've smoked to date. The wrapper is dark reddish brown, compared to the lighter brown of the more recent Bolivars. Good draw and burn through-out. The cigar begins with a full body flavor of nuts and spice. About half way, flavors of toasted nuts and creamy vanilla linger after each puff. This is a strong cigar that is not for beginners. This little cigar lasted over 1 hour! An outstanding smoke.

"A very complex smoke"
A great little smoke. This smaller cigar burns great and still goes for 30-45 minutes. Very great flavor. I have smoked about ten of these and never had a bad one. Draw is average and when you are done you will know you have smoked a strong cigar!

"the"
I really can't think of another phrase to describe the Boli PC. I've smoked new ones, old ones(5 or more years) and while every once in awhile some are not right on, this cigar averages out to be the best cigar ever. To me at least. Aside from the Siglo VI, I've never been put into a trance by a cigar, but this one with a year or more does it almost every time.

"Rich"
This is a great little cigar. Aroma ranges from wood to caramel and the flavor is nice and spicy with lots of pepper. The ones I had burned perfectly with a generous but firm draw. Even though this is a "petite" it still lasted a good 45 minutes and left me with a little buzz. Very nice cigar at a pretty decent price.

"quite good"
MAR 97. Average looking smoke that was quite complex with a little kick. Tobacco.pepper.earth start soon blossomed into a complex and smooth journey. There was a sweetness to it in parts that I can only describe as "candy". Draw and burn were fine (exceptional for a considering the era these were made). A great smoke that was a little more powerful than I was expecting.

"Great PC"
MAR 03. This stick has tons of twang to say the least. Flavor from start to finish when on can be nothing short of amazing. Sweet and spicy with earthy at the same time. Very complex that is hard to pin down. Medium to dark wrapper with nice light sheen of oils. Needs some touching up mid way, but well worth the experiance. This box will not last long. All 4 so far are fabulous.

"To full for me"
After my last review on this stick it felt they deserved another chance. This time it was far better. Good looking for a PC, burn and construction were good, but far from perfect. While I like flavousome, full body cigars I found this just to much. Big rustick, earthy flavour and the aroma seemed to be missing with mine. A good short sharp PC if you like that sort of thing. Given the choice, for this sort of smoke, I’d go for the Patagas PC every time.

"ZTF 2005 is a rare treat"
Late 2005 production from factory ZTF, young but just incredibly good. Smooth dark oily wrappers. Smoke was smooth, bold, rich, deep, creamy - lasting an hour+. Whoever smokes this PC in 40 minutes, you must be a chimney... (ZTF was also rolling a lot of Cohibas in '05..) This seems the best overall Habanos value to be found right now for a deep, rich hour long smoke at prices lower than Dominicans!

"Tight as a ducks arse!"
This is only the second Bolivar I’ve tried, both have been nightmares. This one was so tight it felt like I was sucking a basketball through 30ft of hose. I got the occasional hint of something really tasty and the aroma was great but there was so little smoke coming through it was a joke. In fact my face hurt from sucking so hard. Normally I’d have binned it straight away but UK tobacco taxes being what they are I was desperate to get something out of it.

"Maybe Cuba's best value"
Alright there is a lot of really great cigars out there dominican, nicaragan, and cuban but there is somthing really special about a cuban.
This cigar is Cheaper then a Ashton VSG Tres Mystique and has much beter flavor. The bolivar has a very good draw, and good undertones such as coffee, nuts and almost a earthy flavor also. Be sure to get them in a cabinet of 50. you'll get to smoke a few of them when you first get them then let them age in to become classic cigars.

"Great"
This was a great PC. The flavors were tremendous. The first half was mainly a full tobacco flavor with that nice Habano kick. At about 2/3rds, it turned into rich, sweet almonds - like marzipan, and then changed to perfectly cooked toast, still with some sweetness. My only complaint was the burn. Mine needed several re-lights. The wrapper did not want to stay lit after the half-way point. There could be several reasons for this. One is that the cigar was very soft - almost spongy. This may have kept the wrapper from making good contact with the cherry. The other issue is that I just received this cigar in the mail four days ago, so it may not have had enough time to rest. (Just so you're not having doubts about the cigars authenticity, it was purchased from Cigarone.com - one of this site's frequent advertisers).

"What a Cigar"
I bought a box of these little gems in the duty free store in Shanghai. The box was date stamped March 03, so they were almost 2 1/2 years aged when I bought them. Good draw, even burn and a great Cuban flavor. I rarely can differentiate the various flavors that other reviewers describe, but this cigar definately has great taste without being overpowering. I would recommend this cigar to anyone who hasn't smoked Cubans before and may not know where to start. It won't cost you an arm and a leg and it will make a great first impression.

"Awesome!"
A truly fantastic experience! Deceivingly plain brown wrapper with minimal veins. Solid construction without soft spots. Easy light and razor-sharp burn without the need for relights or corrections. Firm draw that loosened up at about the halfway point. Gray-black ash. Started immediately with earth and raw tobacco. This transitioned into warm leather, espresso, and a hint of black cherry in the first third. The middle third brought a toasted tobacco flavor on a backdrop of rich earth, with a hint of chocolate and white pepper on the finish. The last third was richer, "chewier", and brought notes of creamy nougat and barnyard hay. All in all, this medium-to-full bodied one hour smoke was extraordinarily complex and most enjoyable. It is exactly what the Cuban experience should be! Paired well with a double espresso.

"A Classic Cigar"
This cigar holds a soft-spot as it was one of my first Habanos year's ago. It epitomizes true Habanos flavors to me. NEVER will it disappoint and would probably be my first choice to introduce a domestic cigar smoker to the wonderful world of Cuban cigars! Lip-smacking good! The only PC that comes close--and sometimes even surpasses this would be the Por Larannaga. Still, I'll never run out of this cigar. I prefer the cabinet version.

"New Box, same result"
New box OSU FEB02 - couldn't wait, only two days after arriving, still a bit dry - put in microwave on defrost 4 seconds, no longer dry. Rubbed my fingertips in some french vanilla Dunkin Donuts whole beans (damn that makes a nice aroma on ones fingertips as you puff a good, rich Habanos that by itself has a hint of coffe in the flavor of the smoke! Happened upon this one night as my wife made me set up the coffee for the next morning...). Just a freakin' great smoke. This one made me think, once again, that these may just be the best PC's made. (Partagas Corona Especiales at $100 a box compared to these at $132 tho are a viable and competitive alternative.) Full rich flavors, thick but deeply smooth smoke, long ash that didn't want to fall off. Nearly an hour long smoke under the stars on an early October night in New England listening to a live bootleg Steely Dan concert from a couple years ago, looking forward to the Red Sox beginning the playoffs the next day in Chicago. PERFECT

Another great smoke from Bolivar, this one had the Boli flavor profile but with a bit more kick than some of the other Bolis I've had. The draw and burn were perfect, and the best part was the finish, where the cigar seemed to "kick it up a notch" and really had a nice punch. Definitely another good Bolivar to put in the rotation.

"Beautiful cigar"
I'm a newbie to cigars but have dove in and bought a lot of cubans and have one daily. Since trying the boli petit corona, I'm having a hard time evaluating other cigars because I keep reaching for another boli! The taste in my mouth unlit is light and faintly spicy. The smoke is generous, the draw easy, and each puff leaves another light layer of creamy taste in my mouth. I've smoked every one (8 so far) to the nub. I've already bought a second box, as well as other boli's (belicoso finos, tubos 3) figuring the this is going to be a favorite brand for me.

I have a couple of cabinets of Partagas shorts that I smoke when I want a flavorful consistent habano. Snagged some year old Boli PCs recently and had the opportunity to smoke these as my sunset cigar. Different flavor profile than the Partagas, not better or worse, different. Draw was excellent, ash nice and form, held a perfect cone, taste was excellent. A worthy competitor in the best PC category.

"Good things sometimes come in small packages."
Unbanded; smooth and almost silky-textured medium-brown wrapper with medium veins; firm yet resilient construction; nice flat triple-cap; spicy-scented; some cracks near the foot. Draw started out very nice and lush; later became firm. Copius smoke volume at first but lessened after the first ash drop. Mostly even burn but required several relights. Dense dark grey ash held to about 1.5". Started out very nice: woody, spicy, and a tad bit salty with some cocoa and vanilla notes; became earthy with considerable overtones of some sort of spice like anise or juniper. Full-bodied and medium strength.

"Well-balanced and Strong"
Strong-flavored crenelated wrapper helps solidify the elusive and distinctive main-line flavor and strength associated with contemporary Cubans. Beautiful dark ash hangs onto this exquisitely constructed cigar that never lets up on either flavor or strength. Not a subtly-flavored smoke, but one that packs a whallop of earthy (well-balanced bittersweetness with the barely-perceptible but essential mineral saltiness) flavor with every puff.
