"mediocre"
Nothing special here folks. Just an average cigar that smokes like any average cigar you'll find in the market place. The draw was a little tight and lacked character.

"almost the perfect day"
I was sitting on the beach in Bermuda this summer on a 70 degree day with a few beers and my dad. We bought two of these at the hotel store, and couldn't wait to try them. This was my first cuban. I was very disapointed. The cigar was dry and didn't have anything better then that of a non-cuban. Very ugly cigar. I smoked it slow and still got a horrible taste about half way threw. Lucky i went to s shop their and bought me montecristo #2.

"Mild and different"
An OK looking, mild to mild-medium cigar. Taste started out pretty boring but turned into a leather.sweet flavor with something thrown in that I can't put my finger on. Last bit was sweet.cedar.leather and the body picked up a little. Draw and burn were fine. Overall, not a terribly exciting cigar, but OK. Maybe the younger ones have more punch or interesting qualities.

"Beaten-up cigar"
I know manufacturers sometimes get away with selling bum cigars in tubes but this one was a joke. It looked like someone had sat on it and needed constant touching up and removal of damaged wrapper. The flavour profile was interesting however. Subtle in the first third, chewy leather in the middle third and deep, rich, earthy tobacco in the last. Value was poor (UK prices for a beaten-up cigar). Overall the flavour and body of the stick saves it. I’d like to try a well constructed one at the end of a busy day or after a good meal.

Recently a few of these that I had for a while. Not pretty but excellent twang and character is a smaller cigar. I've been enjoying all of the Boli tubos lately ... well worth a shot.

"The best ever"
I had a friend give me two of these and while I was fishing I smoked one with her little brother. This is by for the best cigar I have ever smoked. Mild to medium flavor and oh so smooth. True to the cuban tradition, the last third of the cigar got a little harsh so I slipped of the band and threw it in the sea. It was by far the best, most satisfying smoke I have ever had. If you can get your hands on one of these, look past the price and BUY IT!!

"Surprising strength"
I just smoked my first of these out of a box from 6/98. I expected it to be similar to the Petit Corona, and indeed it was except that apparently the years have not only made the cigar smoother and more balanced, but also strengthened its aroma. For one who likes the Bolívar profile a this is very good news. A very good cigar.

"Oh the balance"
Fantastic balance, everything in its proper proportion. Light brown wrapper, consistent burn, great aroma and flavour, great draw, a sudden tang of bitterness at the very end as if to say: done. What a wonderful smoke, I was content for hours afterwards.

"Best Cigar!"
This was the best cigar I've ever smoked. While mild in body, there was ample flavor - somewhat nutty and earthy. The construction was flawless, the burn perfect and the wrapper a thing of beauty. There were so many crystals that you could almost see them fighting for space! Expensive in Canada ($20 Canadian), but worth it for special occasions.

"Portable power"
I gave these out when my kids were born because they are great affordable cigars that have the signature Habanos twang. Sometimes an ugly duckling hides in the tube, but the flavor makes up for any cosmetic shortcomings.

Wrapper was light brown and dry with some ugly veins; Draw, light and burn were perfect; This baby did not dissappoint; Excellent full body and spice throughout with hints of sweet and wood here and there. GREAT SMOKE! One of my favorites. It is common fo
