Punch (Cuba) Superfinos (regional)

Smoked my first Superfinos today, and was impressed in every way. Solid construction with a razor sharp burn and good draw with lots of smoke. Started with a leathery taste and spice, and eventually picked up a slight hint of anise. Not overly complex, but good Punch flavor all the way to the nub.

Bought actually in Milan, this Regional Edition Superfino is good and flavourful (leather, dark chocolate), strong enough to set your heavy lunch off...Given the smoke ban in Italy, I had to smoke it outside in a very cold day, and it had some problem at staying lit, as well as a tight draw. All in all worthwhile, if on the xepnsive side, smoke.

Some trouble at the beginning, but once it got started, it was very good. Toasty with leather taste. Didn't burn eavenly at first, but after 10 minutes it evened out and burnt well. I liked the draw and it stayed tight throughout the smoke. About a 45 minute cigar with a good friend.
