"Outstanding"
A truly rare experience. The typical depth and richness of the 858 but with a spicy sun grown kick that is simply divine!

"Winner!"
Best Fuente ever! Wonderful aroma and delicious flavors of nuts and cedar abound but best of all - perfect construction. Very hard to find especially in a cigar with all the other qualities at the top of the range. I was so lucky to find these and grabbed six. What a pleasure it's going to be knowing I can light something up and it's going to burn straight and true and taste and smell great. Highly recommended if you can find them.

"2007 another winner"
Just caught the reissue and they are dead on again. Love the sweat and the spice. Great cigar. Too bad they aren't more available.

"good for a Fuente"
I am not a big Fuente fan, in part because i have been told they have fallin off from what they used to be (besides the Opus X). This was a pretty good cigar, had nice wood flavors, and didn't need re-lighting. This wrapper was alright, but had many bumps. Overall an ok smoke.

"Recommended Reliable"
This cigar does everything but disappoint. Beautiful draw with great charcoal ash, it starts cool and woody and remains aromatic throughout. Very consistent when smoking more than 1, as Fuentes and Padron's certainly tend to be. Highly recommended as an every day light.

"Nice..."
I'm a relatively new smoker, but I enjoyed this cigar. I purchased the 8-5-8 maduro, it was very smooth. Nice flavor with no morning after-taste. Great stick for the price!

"Nice Smoke!"
I don’t smoke AF cigars that often but they rarely disappoint me. This stick as expected was very good. It was given to me so not sure I would pay the $6 per stick price average? Everything about it was good though, especially the arroma. Very nice!

"Great gar"
This is a very good cigar. I have only smoked about 20 or 30 different cigars in my short time smoking, but this ones one of the best. I have tried some well more then is one and i still think this one beats those. Everyone should try one of these

"Great Smoke"
This is my favorite smoke in the $4.00 or so range. Great draw, flavor, smoke and finish. I think this is why l like the curly heads so much because they must be made from medium filler Flora-Finas.

A solid cigar. Not world class by any means, but a good value and a good smoke.

"SG magic"
You will occasionaly get one of these that's a little off, and they are slightly bumpy, but overall these are awsome beauties with a great flavor.
You'd be hard pressed to find a better cigar at twice the price.

Fuente, never lets me down. This cigar is no different. It provides a stand-up smoke full of flavor, excellent burn, and great construction. Excellent value.

"Arturo Fuenta Flor Fina Sun Grown"
Good cigar, but overrated. I liked the Shark much better. Smoked one right after purchase, and may get better after sitting in my humidor a year or so. Tight draw and not much complexity.

"goodness"
The only Fuente I've ever really enjoyed, this one is a champ! A billowing stack of cedar and spice hits you from the get-go and the smoothness rounds things out. I'd have liked a tad more depth, but hey, I'm still impressed.

"bumpy wrapper"
This stick was not all that good looking but wow it had some good notes. The foot lit even and burned that way all the way to the nub. The taste was medium to full with lots of earth and tobacco flavors on the finish. A must try cigar.

"858 S.G. One of the Best"
A.Fuentes Flor Fina 858 Sun Grown
Beautiful packaging on this smoke, with the cedar wrap, and a black ribbon around the foot. After removing the cedar and ribbon, I am greeted by a dark chocolate brown wrapper, very smooth with minimal veins. A very well constructed cigar, with no lumps or soft spots. Prelight aroma, is of cedar, with a hint of rich grain leather.
I clip this cigar with my cheap double bladed cutter, a perfect straight cut. I toast the foot with my equally cheap triple torch lighter, and away we go. Ahh that classic Fuentes richness that I have come to expect of all of their cigars. A nicely firm draw, yields plentiful fragrant smoke. Initial taste is cedar, with a leather back.
A touch of pepper tingles the tongue on about the 5th puff. At the ½” mark the burn is razor straight, and the flavors are beginning to get much more complex. Still very spicy, with the taste of black pepper, cinnamon, and white pepper vying for my attention, with a solid leathery, bordering on sweet base. This smoke has started out with a rich medium body, but as it develops, it seems to be headed more towards a full bodied smoke. The flavors are not changing, except for the fluctuations in strength, of the competing flavors. The only flavor to remain consistant in its’ strength, is the leather. 1” in and the ash is still holding firm, and a flavor of very dark roast coffee has joined the mix. Hmmm a nice touch of honey also joins the flavor symphony tantalizing my taste buds.
The ash falls, almost 2 ½” into this smoke. Even after bouncing off my lap, and onto the floor, the ash held very solid, only a little bit flaked off.
About halfway through this smoke, it is like a chocolate bomb went off in my mouth. Not Milk chocolate either, but like a rich dark Bavarian chocolate. This blended with the other flavors to remind me of the caffee Mocha, I have down at the coffee shop, about twice a month. A few puffs later, and it reminds me of Baileys Irish crème in a dark French roast. The flavors are changing now, with every puff, and are gaining strength with every puff.
I am so into this cigar, that I almost burned the band, before I realized, and removed it. Needless to say, I nubbed this excellent cigar. Due to superior construction, and flavor of this cigar, I rate it a 4.8 on a 5 point scale. Great Smoke

"Right On"
I purchased one of these based upon the reviews I read on this site and must say, you all nailed it. Very easy light and draw, superb construction, and a myriad of flavors from coffee to spicy made this cigar top notch. My only complaints are that the smoke is a bit pungent and the coffee flavor, mainly in the middle of the cigar, lasted a bit too long, but when compared to the quality of the smoke this can be overlooked.

"The Best!"
A beautifully made cigar that probably is one of the best sungrown cigars out there. The construction was perfect! Cutting this one, the prelight draw was just right – not to easy and not like sucking a basketball through a garden hose.
Toasting the end, the cigar lights easily and almost immediately produces a good amount of smoke. Right off the bat a pretty strong cedar taste hits you hard. There are a bunch of other flavors that come and go as I smoked this.
This is a medium/full bodied smoke with consistent flavors of cedar and coffee, that I smoked to the nub.

"Got to sit down"
I can't believe these! I have had a few of them and have not posted my remarks. I have always let my Vitolas rest before posting. These are a cross between and O pus x, and Diamond Crown Max with the kick of Joya De Nica. What balance and taste, construction is A#1. These are one of the hardest smokes to find. If you ever, I said EVER come across one of them "Don't think Twice buy and try! No Hype. I really love them right out of the wrapper, "What A Rush" That post before me brought the rating down and does not count.
These are a 10 "All around!" You will thank MamboRumba!

"Ding, ding, ding"
This one really rings the bell. Great construction with a wrapper that's as pretty as a picture and the construction of a million dollar mansion. The flavor is the signature Fuente profile with the spice and zing of the sun grown wrapper tossed on top. Hard to find, tough to beat.

"Excellence"
A beautifully made cigar that probably is one of the finest Sun Grown cigars available today. Believed to be the cigar of choice for Arturo Fuente himself, this cigar offers a bevy of complex flavor with a spicy twist. Med-Full bodied smoke with consistent flavors of cedar, nuts, and coffee, that's enjoyable to the nub. Though hard to find, and in very limited supply (may be discontinued by the Fuente Family), this cigar is worth looking for. A special cigar for that special occassion.
