"great"
i bought this thinking it would be full bodied...i was wrong, but it wasn't a bad thing, with the experience of this awesome cigar. if you looked at a cigar dictionary of the best medium bodied maduro, this might very well be under it. light pepper, cocoa, coffee, and that hint of leather present in all fuentes...had to put it down halfway through and give myself a break...even though i was full from a good meal and a few beers...but relighting it was not a problem for me...it was still delicious

"Great Everyday After Dinner Smoke"
Mild to Medium bodied smoke. You have to admit the presentation is very nice. A Distinct maduro flavor w/touch of spice and sweetness (subtle). Good ash, but not as good as the Hemmingway line.

"Very nice"
I just like this cigar! It was very smooth from the beginning and smelled great! This stick isn’t terribly complex, I thought very sweet, but had a nice rich even taste. It’s a good maduro, rich in flavor. I’ve been fortunate to enjoy quite a few good cigars lately and will add this one to the buy again list. I want to try the smaller Robusto again. A smaller cigar with a few more rings should make quite a difference. Keep one in the humi…don’t think you can go wrong.

"Good smoke but mildly dissapointed"
Good medium bodied flavor. Unfortunately it was offset by a poor roll. It was tight, a really tough draw on this. I bought 8 of these for poker night, and everyone's stick burned really uneven. I'm hoping I got a bad batch, since several reviews indicated this would be a great smoke. I'll try again at some point, as this was anice tasing smoke.

"good go to"
this cigar can be smoked any time of the day. It's rich in sort of a creamy spiciness, but doesn't knock you down. Definitely one I keep as a go to.

"very sad"
White mold (what i like to call plume). Opened the ceder wrap and there it was. Oh yeah i was excited. Used my new cutter - awesome. perfect size. White mold...hell yeah...light this baby up with my fancy new flame......nooooooooo!!! Bad roll!!! Too tight!!! From what i could tell tasted great but not enjoyable. White mold we shall meet again.....

"Wonderful smoke..."
It's a great maduro. Wonderful flavours and lots of billowing white smoke. Started off burning unevenly thanks to my lack of adeptness with the lighter, but it corrected itself quickly and burned evenly with long ashes for the whole hour or so that it lasted.

"Enjoyable Smoke"
I got this as a single stick from Serious Cigar. After smoking several other AF sticks, I wanted to try a few others. The look of this stick was a little rough. The wrapper had a slight flake (which I may have caused when removing the cedar sleeve). Other than the flake, the construction was good. The draw was nice and easy and the burn was fairly straight. The taste had some spice, not as much as the Hemingway Classic, but then this stick is not in that class. After about half the smoke the flavor got better, and I enjoyed it all the way to the nub. The finish is slightly sweet with some spice. Overall, this is another good AF, and considering the price I plan to add several to my humidor.

"Did not float my boat but a good smoke noneth"
I am a Fuente maduro fan. I had my first taste of this the other night. It was a good cigar, nice construction, good ash and good white smoke. Where it surprised me was the taste. I did not get the sweetness and spiciness in other fuente maduro.

"Great Stick"
This is a great mid-ranged cigar. Rich creamy flavor abit spicy for the first 1/2 inch and then a full flavor hits your pallet. Recommend for anyone who wants a great cigar to load your humidor up with.

"big smoke"
Great cigar. Alot of sweet and spice in the begining. Draw is a little tight, but it's a big smoke you don't need it loose. The very end got a little ashy/harse, the next one I'll only smoke 1/2-2/3 down. Nice presentation.

"Moved to the top of my list"
Give me a Fuente anytime. Ashton? Fuente with a middleman price. The Double Chateau maduro is one I take my time with and smoke for pure enjoyment. No noted problems with regard to construction. Toothy. Smooth draw with a good bit of smoke. Lot of cigar for the $5 price. Good cigar for new smokers looking for flavor. Recommend a straight guillotine cut vs. v-notch for better draw (50/64ths ring size).

"Average Cigar"
Appearance of the cigar was quite nice. It had a very dark wrapper and the cedar tube gives the cigar a nice distinguished look. Construction was fairly good. It had a nice stiff feel to it, but it did draw a tad too hard. It also had a giant vein running down the backside of the cigar. Flavor was good, but not remarkable. Typical good cigar taste all the way down. The smoke was a bit harsh for the first half along with a fairly uneven burn, but by the time I got down past half way, she smoothed right out and burnt like a champ. This cigar was a gift, so I can not comment on value, but for the average going price, I think it's fair to say that you get what you pay for, a $5 cigar. Overall I'd give this a cigar a 6. Sure I'd smoke another, but I wouldn't buy another given the first rate quality of so many other cigars out there.

"As one would expect from Fuente"
Typical Fuente...perfrect draw, nice aroma, very good burn. The size is not my first choice, but I found it to be a very enjoyable smoke.

This box was free, so I'm aging a few to see what time does to the flavor

"Light and airy"
This is a big kahuna with a very dark wrapper. A bit papery to the touch. The flavor is very mild and balanced. Typical Fuente quality. Good for the front nine, but pick up a Don Carlos for the back nine.

"Not Bad"
For a Dominican cigar, it's a decent value, but one can do better for the money with any number of Hondurans or Nicaraguans. The construction and appearance are very good, but the flavor has a bit of aftertaste and harshness not found in -- for example -- maduros from El Rey Del Mundo, Excalibur, and CAO.
