"Nice"
Good even burn, nice flavor. Did not pick up any hints of anything. Tasted smooth with no burn. No touch-ups or re-lights. Even burn, did not hold ash very long, ash was speckled grey and white. Wrapper had just the right amount of oil to it. Not a very strong pre or post-light aroma. Pleasent cigar. Would recommend.

"Nice cigar..."
Leather and hints of cocoa. A sweet smoke, thats not too spicy. Mine had a good draw, but a poor cap caused the cigar to begin to split. I don't like construction issues, but I do like the flavor of this one.

"Still a favorite"
After many years of world travel and starting and stopping in terms of trying cigars (including many cubans), it was this cigar that finally spurred me to buy a humidor and set up shop. This is still my favorite short smoke and the reason I started seeking cameroon wrappers.

"Another sad experience"
A few years back, went through a box of these. Today provides a less enjoyable experience. Still a nice looking stick, but lacking taste. And worst of all, another bad burn from a Fuente. Seems you have to pay at least $10 to get an even burning cigar from Fuente anymore.

"Color me disappointed"
Though they get rave reviews, I definitely preferred the Signature out of this series. The Best Seller is fairly mild overall, very nice at light but then fairly mild throughout with hints of spicy earth and leather and maybe a touch of char. Both samples unraveled at about 2 inches and sort of held together enough to finish. Overall slightly harsh but decent despite some quality aging. I'd take the regular CAO Cameroons instead.

"I just don't get it"
Okay, have smoked a couple of these in the past, left one in the humidor for quite some time and still don't get all the hype. Construction was less then perfect, tight draw mostly. The flavor, though improved, and finish were on a par with alot of $3 sticks.

"Didn't do it for me"
Started off with a nice sweet, smooth taste and then degenerated to mediocrity. Slightly overpowering leathery, young tobacco taste all the way down. The positives were the construction and the burn which had a great draw producing tons of smoke. Average smoke for me unfortunately.

"Oh yea...THAT'S why I like Cameroons"
I'd smoked some lackluster cammy-wrapped cigars here lately, but this late-afternoon stick reminded me why they're so great. Mild, maybe nearing medium bodied, these Best Sellers are just solid little smokes that will last you 40 or 45 minutes. Classic cammy flavor: a bit of mild sweetness, cedar, and a touch of spice (which I prefer over the spice/cedar BOMB that is the CAO CX2). I'm going to actually give the construction on this thing a higher rating than I perhaps normally would, b/c despite a split near the foot (nipple) of the cigar, the burn was somehow unaffected. Besides, this flaw was likely attributed to storage or transport error, not construction error. I don't know what it is, but I really prefer the three smallest sizes in the natural line to the larger sizes like the Classic, and this size may be my favorite natural Hemingway period. I smoked this til my fingers burned, and am left totally satisfied. I still prefer the Don Carlos line, but this particular member of the Hemingway brethren gives ol' Don a run for his money. Papa would be proud, indeed.

"Terrific short smoke"
Like other Hemingways, this cigar shows beautiful craftsmanship and is beautiful to behold. The draw, burn, and ash are all excellent and it smokes beautifully for such an unusually shaped cigar. It's not the coolest smoke in the world, partly due to the shape and partly due to the fact that you'll be smoking it down to your fingertips. It's very flavorful, packed with the woody, earthy, and honey graham cracker flavors typical of a Hemingway; it's also pretty spicy relative to the bigger sizes in the line. Slightly pricey for the size, and a lot of places overcharge for them, but at MSRP it would be a great value. A perfect short smoke for weekday evenings. No. 12 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of 2005.

"This Cigar hasn't been good to me"
I got a box of these and I just want to get rid of them. Maybe I'm unlucky, but every time I smoke one, the burn is inconsistence, the draw too loose, and the wrappers crack and flake. I hate these cigars. The flavor isn't even there. I would not buy these again, personally I think they are overrated.

"Above Average"
Starts out with a cedary taste and then moves to a smooth, consistent nutty taste for the remainder of the cigar. Lacks the sweetness of the signature, which for me (but maybe not for you) was disappointing. Excellent construction, smooth draw and very cool burning. Evident that care is taken in the making of this stick, even if the end result isn't incredible.

"what's the big deal?"
This was just your run of the mill decent cigar to me. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't up to the hype. It was pretty one-dimensional, it was a very sweet smoke that had a very nutty overtone to it the entire cigar. I may be a little harsh on this cigar, but I was expecting much more out of them based on everyone's hype. I don't dislike them, but there are many other NC smokes that I like a lot better for less money than this one.

"A Bigger Short Story"
Simply a superb smoke for the money. I always keep coming back to the hemingway line. I smoke the short story and signature perfectos of the line. I was just recently able to find some best sellers. This nudges out the short story for me. Save the signature for a longer smoke. They are all still great smokes but it seems the best seller, if you can find, is a relatively reasonable value as compared to the more commonly available hemingways.

"9.0 across the board"
Let a new box age 3-4 months and your patience is rewarded...though, it is not necessary to do so....no greensticks here with over 250 B.S. somked.....People complain about the prices and that some high end cigars including A.F. are over rated......everyone has their own taste and opinions....and not all that one reads or hears about is going to match up to the hype......The Fuente family lines of Hemingway, Don Carlos, and Opus are the top of their line.....so a straight 9 across the board for the B.S....check the auctions sites...and find a box from 120.00 to 133.00 and you have the savings of another fine cigar by the Fuente Family in your humidor. ....and maybe not complain about the prices.....smoothe, simi-sweet, a bit of spice to round out a fine cameroon wrapped Fuente cigar.......

"Top of the Best Seller list"
The key to being a visionary is that when you speak...have it mean something. The Best Seller is a great leader...not a lot of rhetoric (45 min tops) but it's palate reads like War and Peace. Gorgeous...that beautiful sweet wrapper...and flavor to spare. When you don't have the time for a Double Corona...this will MORE than fit the bill. Magnifico!

What a wonderful cigar. Perfect for a 30-45 minute smoke. Full range of flavors you would expect from a hemingway, including the trademark sweetness and tons of thick smoke. Never became hot or harsh as sometimes happens with the short story. Can be purchased for $5.50 or so and well worth it.

"Solid, but not worth the price"
A few months ago while on a business trip, I found a cigar shop that had plenty of AF Hemingway Best Sellers in stock at about $5.60 a stick. I quickly grabbed a handful of singles to try while there, thinking I would buy a box if I liked them. Given this cigar's ultra-high ratings at the time, I was expecting a transcendental experience--but the magic just wan't there, so I just kept the few that I had remaining. On the flight home, I was kicking myself for passing up the opportunity to stock up; maybe I had been too rash in passing judgment. I stashed the remainder in my humidor, letting them age. But when I smoked one tonight, it was deja vu: a strong, but not especially flavorful smoke, lacking richness and complexity. It stayed consistent, with only a faint trace of coffee and chocolate every now and then. The construction was awesome; the ash held on tight like a limpet on a rock. But without the expected flavor, the value and overall experience plummet. The AF Don Carlos #4 is much the superior premium smoke, and the Padron 2000 I had last night puts the Best Seller to shame. This Hemingway would be okay at half the price, but it's certainly not worth the money as it stands.

This is an outstanding cigar. All aspects were top notch, from construction to finish. I wish I had a camera to take a picture on the burn of this cigar. It was 1 long white solid ash. If you are into perfecto's and cameroon wrappers, this cigar is for you. The only problem (and it is a big problem) with this cigar is its availability as it is made on a very limited basis.
