"Have to buy by the box. Hands down...perfect."
I was amazed that my wife got me a box of these for Christmas/birthday. I have tried the regular classic and loved it but the maduro just delivers more. The smoke was abundant with flavors of sweet hazelnut, toffee, and a hint of pepper for a slightly mild zing. The 5 that I have smoked so far all were consitant with one another. Near perfect burn, tight ash, and as smooth as butter. A definite must have in your humidor.

"WOW"
I read some of the other reviews and surprised that a few had a negative exeprience with these. I thought they were great in every way. I wish i could afford these as my everday smoke. I do have a box for those special days.

"Pretty Good"
Not bad, but not spetacular, either. I had this cigar in my humidor for over a year and finally decided to give it a try. I have had several Fuentes in the meantime and have been overall unimpressed. I guess that's why I was in no hurry to fire this one up. Anyway, this was quite a bit better than Fuente's regular offerings, but still not something I absolutely have to have in my box. The flavor was somewhat woody with some peppery spice. I'd smoke one again sometime, but I'm certainly not going to go to any trouble to find them.

"Not the best Hemingway"
Nice looking cigar, a bit of a tight draw, with good flavor that was milder and not quite as rich as I expected. For the price I'd rather smoke a couple Short Stories or Best Sellers.

"Great cigar"
Very nice looking cigar. A bit tight draw at first but loosend up beautifully and was a very nicely constructed cigar. Not a strong cigar as far as nicotin goes but full of flavor. Really nice aftertaste and an overall quite enjoyable experience.

"Lovely"
I am a newcomer to this 'hobby' and have only tried a hand few of cigars, I picked this one up today, and was blown away I loved it. Rich flavor, nice even burn, I will try others in the Hemingway line and will definitely by a box or two

"Great Smoke"
This is a great smoke. Not the best cigar in the world, but it delivers a boatload of interesting flavors without being overpowering. Burn is a little irregular because the wrapper is so moist and thick. Another good one by Fuente.

"A pleasant surprise"
I enjoy a stronger, more complex smoke, but I keep a few Hemingways (especially the Short Story) around for a milder change of pace. I wasn't sure that the CB wrapper would marry well with the subtle Hemingway flavors. However, this cigar exceed expectations, and provided a rich, flavorful experience right down to the nub. A couple of burn problems were easily touched up. Exceptionally smooth all the way, with a sweet, expresso taste. Not strong or complex, but a delightful "dessert" stick, with a pleasant and lasting finish. Recommended for those who appreciate a good Fuente.

"Dissapointed"
A friend insisted that I try one of these and Iwas utterly unimpressed. I was expecting a more full bodied cigar with rich flavors and got a washed out version. Light in taste with no bold flavors at all. Drew well but overall not what I look for in a cigar.

"Bland"
I was not impressed. Mild body, no depth and absolutely minimal finish. This cigar bored me. Typical high quality Fuente construction. I expected more from this cigar. If you're looking for a mild cigar that never asserts itself and doesn't change flavor from beginning to end, you'll love it.

"A very fine cigar... just"
Good construction and solid overall feel, althought I was expecting a little more weight for the size. Smells wonderful, with hints of chocolate, sweet vanilla and wood. Taste is very fine (same flavors as smell of wrapper), extra smooth but never quite develops the strength and complexity of flavor that I was expecting. Very even draw, not too firm nor quick, just right. In summary, a very fine cigar for the medium-flavor afficionado.

"Beter yet"
I saw this getting some great reviews about the time it popped up at my local tobacconist. I bought a couple, and true to the reviews they were very good. Not the outright best cigar ever made, as some reviwers have indicated, but a darn good Hemingway, made even beter by the rich Maduro wrapper.

"WOW!!!"
A simply outstanding cigar. Rich, deep earthy unmistakeable Fuente taste! Semi-sweet cocoa and subtle spice, with a never-ending lushness to the flavor and aroma. Prelight was great - the smoking was close to a 10+!!

"Truly a Classic"
One of my favorite Fuente lines, and this smoke speaks for the rest of the Hemingways. Subtle tastes of cocoa and nuts. The cigar is medium-bodied with an awesome nutty aroma.

For $6 this is a nice smoke. The complex spices riding onto of a mild, even earthy flavor made this a definate addition to my humidor.

"Pretty good"
A very well constructed cigar with a nice draw (a bit easy for my liking) and very even burn.
At par with other great non Cubans, like Davidoff, Padron. Enjoyable smoke, somehow different for my pallet, which got used to Cuban tobacco since 1986, but i liked it.
