"One of my all time favorites"
GOOD- This cigar smokes perfectly almost everytime. It has deep, rich flavors without being harsh in the least. The draw is easy and produces loads of smoke. Smooth and flavorful. I love it.
BAD- I really can't think of anything bad with this smoke.
UGLY- No ugly here. Dark and oily, tissue wrapped, nice band, firmly constructed, but draws perfectly.
Overall- this is one of my favorite cigars.

"Simply delicious at a great price"
Amazed this stick can be gotten for under $5. Much better than some of those I've paid $15 or more for. Loved the tissue packaging, classy. Nice slow and even burn, great draw, pleasant aroma. This is being added to my rotation, at that price, it can't be beat.

"Quality"
Two years into my serious cigar smoking and I've come across the best one so far. Purchased this for way too much at $12 in a Park City shop 18 months ago and have been waiting for a special occasion to pull back the tissue. Considering myself more pagan than Christian, I thought the solstice was a pretty darn good excuse. This one wasn’t the prettiest, but it burned very well and tasted like Heaven. Gonna have to see if I can’t find more of these at a more reasonable price.

I too read the reviews so I decided that this was the time to try one. Well made and my favorite, a dark oily wrapper. Good prelight aroma, nice even burn but mine had a little to slow of a draw. Taste was good but it didn't jump out at me. I will try another before I'm done.

"An Elegant Cigar +++"
This is one very well made, very solid, box pressed cigar with a nice cap. The construction is flawless, with a very dark brown, oily, veiny wrapper. At first light, and throughout the first third, the dominant flavor is a mild sweet spiciness with nuances of wood and dark cocoa. The flavor profile is rich and medium bodied, however, it is pleasantly mild in the strength department. The draw is as good as it gets, offering loads of creamy, rich smoke. The burn is nearly perfect with a firm, hang-on, light gray ash. As you burn your way through the middle, the sweet spiciness becomes a bit richer. The hints of wood and cocoa continue and are joined by nuances of strong coffee. In the final third, the flavors of spice and coffee dominate. This is an elegant cigar with a smooth, rich and delicious, medium bodied flavor profile. It never gets harsh or bitter. This is not a nicotine bomb; it is mild/medium in that department. This is a great anytime smoke! Aftertaste is short and pleasant. One of my personal favorites

This is a well made cigar. Very attractive. good prelight aroma. slow burn and a good draw. This was little on the mild side for my taste but very enjoyable. If you like a good medium cigar with nice taste this one is it. After several of these I found the finish can be a little bitter but overall a decent cigar.

I may have liked this more if I had not had the maduro just an hour prior. A solid cigar though. I just did not care for the aroma from this one and the typical tobacco flavors were too prominent here. Still, an ok stick for the price.

"Fantastic Smoke"
I ordered a box after seeing the reviews. Excellent decision (pat on back). After the first draw, I was definitely impressed. It comes wrapped in a tissue paper, different than most other cigars, which come in cello. The wrapper is quite hard, so you can't tell if it's ready to smoke. I put them in my humi for1 month before smoking it though. Taste: Amazing, filled with complexity. First draw was heavenly, lots of spice, chocolate, leather. Incredible. Tons of complexity. Each draw was different in a good way. It smoked from chocolate, peppery, to buttery, creamy. Then it became milder where a few draws where slight chocolately and tasted sweet. 2nd third became mild, which was unusual. You'd expect it to be stronger, but just the opposite. For a few draws, like 8 or so, it became very mild and sweet. Left only a little on the palate. Then flavor came back towards end of last 2nd third. Flavor began to linger again. Became very chocolately, slightly peppery and then in the last third, dark coffee for proly 8 draws. Then expression. And then sweet chocolate again. Overall, I loved this cigar! Construction was top notch, very firm and nice dark oily wrapper. Feels nice in your hand. I highly recommend if you like medium smokes. One of the best, and when you consider price, unbeatable. 9/10.

"Not so good"
My usual shop doesn't carry ERDM's so when I saw their high ranking, I decided to go exploring. I bought a box and was very disappointed. Hard (HARD!) draw that made them almost impossible to smoke. The flavor is "full" but one-dimensional and not very interesting. Not much smoke, either. I decided I must have a lousy box, so got two singles from another store and orded a 5-pack online. These had better draw, but were still very disappointing. The appearance is very good - the paper wrapper is very cool! But the blend is flat and over-all the cigars I tried were no where near the reviews I saw below. There are MUCH better constructed, better tasting cigars for the price out there!

I'm a relatively new cigar smoker, and have tried maybe a couple dozen different puros. Other than a wonderful Cuban given to me by a friend, this ERDM Robusto is the finest I've enjoyed. Excellent construction. Beautiful wrapper. Fine draw and a sublime, rich flavor. And at less that $4.00 each! I'll certainly keep sampling others, but for now these babies are my numero uno.

This is one of those brands where the non-Cuban is actually better than the original. The burn is just so good on the Honduran and the flavors so well belnded, that I cannot justify paying a higher price for the "original". Nice deep flavors w/o being overpowering. Perfect burn and tons of smoke make this a first tier smoker.

"Very good smoke"
Beautiful construction, and beautiful burn. Nice oily, wrapper and good pre-light aroma. Started out with a woody and spicy flavor that at around 1/4 of the way through, became a nutty, dark chocolate flavor. This continued on, until the last 1/4 of the cigar which developed a very bitter flavor, which I just didn't enjoy at all. Up until then, I loved it. Will definitely try more, as maybe I just got a bad stick this time.

"can we say SPICE?"
In a word, WOW! This has a great spice that I now expect with El Rey's. The burn razor-sharp, leaving a ghost-white ash that clung on forever. The price was a tad high, but that's likely the fault of the shop I got it at. Really nice full- bodied (to me, at least!) smoke that produces tons of smoke, draws very nicely, yet has a slow burn. There was a very weak floral and sawdust flavor, but the majority of what I got was dark chocolate.

"A great smoke"
There is nothing bad about this cigar...nothing. It burns slow, smooth, even and cool...its flavor changes as the cigar progresses, starting out as a cocoa/coffee taste and ending up being very woody and peppery.

The smoke held together, the wrapper maintained its construction through the whole smoke, and the draw was absolutely perfect. This goes on my "must have on hand" list

Bought a couple due to the high ranking and wasn't disappointed. Very smooth and tastey, the first inch or so i detected a hint of something sweet, almost a vanilla flavor that settled into a nutty sensation the rest of the way. Draw was a little tight but not enough to complain about and burned a little uneven in spots but seemed to staighten itself out. Smoked it all the way to the nub and was very satisfied, just can't beat this stick for three bucks a pop.

"Consistenly Rich and Complex"
This is my favorite cigar by far, excellent rich smooth and complex flavor. Sometimes the wrapper has some burn problems, but that is easily corrected by some age.

"A man's best friend"
This cigar is like a great black lab. Consistent, friendly, and will never let you down. I have gone through two boxes and have not had a bad experience yet. Build and burn are consistently excellent and the flavor is a delicious blend of well aged medium strength tobacco. Good dog!

"Great Time Spent Smoking"
The Cigar burned almost perfectly (only a few tense moments). The ash was great and the draw was to my taste, meaning plenty of smoke. The flavor was medium to full and quite tasty. I smoked a red dot Cohiba Robusto about an hour before, and the taste and smoking experience were much better. I will smoke more.

"Never disappoints!!!"
I just started on cigars but have bought and tried quite a few brands. By far, this (and its little brother, the Robusto) has been the most consistent in all aspects. Great draw, burn, flavors....you name it. Well worth my hard-earned $$$.

"Great $3.25 Cigar"
The reviews dont do this justice. PSURoss must have had a bad day. Crystals on the wrapper denoting some age. Perfect burn for over an hour. Unique flavor profile sweetness with full bodied flavor. Nice firm cigar up there with cigars costing 3 or 4 times as much. Age these more and they should become something special.

"Choco-latte"
Taste of chocolate and coffee was great. Started off a little sharp, but that worked out by the first inch. Not as sophisticated as the Padron '64 Ann. but it did remind me of it somewhat. Burn and draw were good as well. Very good cigar for the price.

"Cocoa Puffs"
This is one of the most chocolatey flavored cigars I've ever tasted. So it's not complex, but who doesn't like chocolate? An excellent bargain to boot. Only problem was uneven burn, not too bad, but annoying.
