"good"
my first ERDM was nutty and burned consistently from the get-go. tasted a tad harsh near the last inch but otherwise a good all around cigar.

"Nutty, Earthy and Shitaki Mushroom Tasting"
I am a big fan of ERDMs. I have smoked hundreds of the robustos and love them. This stick is a bit more pricey, but with its complexity well worth it. It was full of nuts and earth. It might sound strange but I could taste Shitaki mushrooms. Construction was perfect. I recommend this smoke.

Got it is a sampler pack from a local shop and was very pleased. Tasty thick smoke, nice even burn. Got a little harsh toward the end but impressive for the price.

"Consistancy"
ERDM consistancy shines thru once again in this cigar, nice balance of spice and earthyness in this medium bodied smoke that shares a very close flavor profile to the Camacho corojo nattie IMO. The construction in this one is much better. I liked this cigar alot and will keep them in the humidor.

"Great on sale, not at retail"
I love ERDM but believe they missed the mark with this one. Although it still can deliver wonderful flavors, they only seem to last about 10 - 15 minutes of the smoking experience. This cigar generates tons of smoke, smokes very openly, but the thick gage keeps it from being too hot. Overall I was happy with my purchase for they were onsale, but I wouldn't buy these at full price.

"killer smoke, dude!"
I bought a 5-pack sampler from JR and had my first one last night. This was one of the best smokes I've had in months. It had a beautiful oily chocolate brown wrapper with lots of veins. The burn was even down to the last inch and the smoke was nutty and delicious. At one point I had 2 inches of white ash hanging off the foot. Looks like my next box of cigars is gonna be El Reys.

"An wonderful experience!"
Man this is a good cigar. I bought a sampler box, 5 each of their 'robusto' selection, not knowing how they would be...only reason I did it was the excellent "sub $6" ERDM gets from this site.

You guys are right on the money! I had this cigar last night, and it was by far the best smoke I've had since I was lucky enough to snag a Cuban Bolivar a few months ago.

Very nutty, very earthy. The presentation is incredible, with the beautiful band and cedar wrap. The burn is EVEN, all the way to the end, and the smoke was EXTREMELY satisfying, with a great pull and wonderful aroma.

The one thing I would suggest would be to cut this cigar a little higher up than usual, as like the other reviews mention, the cap is a bit flaky. It is not something to worry about, and a short cut won't ruin it...just a suggestion to make the experience even better.

"King of the World"
En cedro. I won't try to describe the flavor, but you can almost taste the earth of Honduras in this cigar. Medium to full bodied & tastes like a cigar oughta. I like some of it's larger cousins even better.

"Have to agree"
This was a great looking cigar with a nice cedar sleeve and smooth wrapper. It did have a crumbly cap after cutting, but it was not a big problem. The smoke volume was thick, the draw was easy, and the taste was a mix of cedar and spice. It did get a hint of pepper towards the middle and then turned a bit harsh towards the end. Not something I would run and buy a box of but definitely worth the price to try and maybe age a couple.

"Good cigar for this price"
The cigar is wrapped in a nice-looking cedar sleeve. The wrapper is smooth and little veiny, a couple of soft spots, and the wrapper is a little bit cracked on the bottom, easy cut, and has a crumbly cap construction. Pre-light draw is easy, with hint of cedar. It is easy to light, and the aroma is woody and a little bit sweet. This medium bodied smoke has a loose draw with cocoa taste, and a spicy dry finish. It becomes smoother by half of the cigar, and peppery taste kicked in by the last third of the cigar. It burns a little bit unevenly, grayish white ash with soft texture. It tastes a little bit like Padron 2000 Nat, but not as strong. Great smoke volume.

"Great Value"
I was quite pleased with he complex flavor of this cigar. It started off with a nice coffee and hazelnut flavor and continued with cedar and nutty flavors & finished creamy. Very well constructed and a real bargan at this price. This cigar will have a spot in my box.
