"2007s Also Tops"
I am now smoking the 2007 LE Pyramide and it's just great. Tightly wrapped with a fine draw. A bit less character than some other Cubans I've had, but that's splitting hairs. Bought a box and would do it again!

"My Personal Favorite Cuban"
To me, this is what a cuban should taste like. Wonderful unique creaminess. Mild to medium in strenght.

"HoyoHno"
Well, I am not a big Hoyo fan, but I thought I would like the Cuban version, since it is the original afterall. Actually, I like the Cuban LESS. Just no the flavor I was expecting and the draw/construction was uneven. I expected more for the price.

"perfect draw and taste"
WOW! I've smoked em' all, man. And this is what you call a damn good cigar. Perfect draw followed by a perfect taste. Hats off to the HOYO! Can I get an AMEN! God bless and keep on smokin'!

"Nice smooth cigar"
Started off with a hint of sweentness to it. Then, just a wonderfully smooth tasting cigar. Not a heavy, overpowering smoke but just a delight to smoke. Highly recommend.

"dark chocolate and coffee"
Probably the best cigar I've ever smoked. The only drawback is that I couldn't smoke it in totality... burned my fingers and lips.

"Aging like a good wine"
This smoke is great, I noticed a lot of the lower reviews were from 2003, this smoke is getting very VERY good. Great medium to low end strong flavors, very good burn, had 4 inch plus tight medium light ashes in the ashtray. Got a little hot at the end, overall an excellent smoke!

"Very nice"
First off, the pyramids are my favourite shape. The cigars have a unique barnyard aroma when sniffed unburned (curious). Obviously, one would be a little putoffish by that. But... the aroma of the burning cigar was full, the burn was razor straight throughout with just the right amount of draw. The construction revealed a slightly oily dark wrapper with very nice hand work. As far as taste, there was a rich, never harsh flavour that was full with mocha and a little cinnamon. This was a smoke that should never have ended. I had a friend of mine have one of these smokes who shared this experience. All in all one of the best limited edition smokes out there and a good value.

"Verrrry nice"
Smoked this cigar over some nice port. Smoked with a perfect draw and even burn throughout. Wonderfully mellow, creamy flavour with a slightly short finish, however. Friend of mine found it equally delightful. We both gave it our own "scale" of 94. Not as heavy as other cubans but easy to smoke. Definately a finger burner. Interestingly, the cigars unburned have a slightly barny smell. The tail half of the cigar brings forth some nutty and espresso flavours. Well worth the money.

"Tasty but more so in a while"
Pretty dang tasty little nubber here. Smoke two of them has the same impression from both. Great now, but will probably smoothen out to perfection in a couple of years. I need a couple to age.

"Simply Fantastic"
I've held off on my posting on this gem. They have been napping in their boxes for over two years. The wrapper, I wished where a little more oily. The flavors are of strong Cuban coffee, and slight toasted coconut, with a barn yard aroma as it burned, and a very pleasant after taste that lingered for a while. The one's I've had no problems with the draw or burn. It's really a must try. Really reminds me of a BBF's flavor profile. A1+

"My favorite cigar!"
Of all the cubans I've have this year, this one is the smoothest and tastiest. The dark oily wrapper is beautiful. Medium strength with an "earthy-sweet" flavor that gets better as you smoke. It's a shame it's a LE. I'm going to miss them. Already getting harder to locate.

"Best of the best"
Dark and perfectly constructed, the box of these looks and smells divine. The flavor is delightful, smoky and spicy with the barnyard in the back. Best of the year.

"Great smoke..."
I thought this cigar lived up to the EL line. I have smoked 4 or 5 of these (and also bought a box) and have enjoyed every single one. Nice white ash, even burn, and great tasting notes make this one of my favorites. I cannot wait until this has some more age on it.

"A slight underachievment"
Part of a sampler pack of Limited Editions Torpedoes, this HdeM was good, but not spectalularly so. Flavor was a bit dull, burned well though. Maybe it should have stayed longer in the hunidor. Horrible prices.

"You can't help but like this cigar..."
There's just nothing to dislike about this stick. Foremost, it's one of the most beautiful maduros I've ever seen. The construction is excellent, and the flavor is medium-bodied and balanced. It's ready to smoke today, no aging necessary, but surely will improve more.

"Give it Time"
Very full bodied for a Hoyo. although y oung, it is well balanced with a floral aroma. Give it time and it will be outstanding

"I liked it so much, I brought a box"
I just had one and promptly ordered a box. The chocolate colored wrapper was veiny with a decent amount of tooth. The draw was nice and even as was the burn. Early on, this stick had a nice peppery flavor and an medium to full boddied character. The spice eventually mellowed and gave way to a fresh citrus like flavor that lasted down to the strong spicy finish. The ash was flaky, but it held togother well enough. I scored this smoke as a 93. The construction, flavor, strength were all exellent.

"I hope this was young"
Okay, I know it was young, as I only had the box two weeks before I had to try one. This was poor all the way around, with a horrible burn, dirty flavor and an overall weak performance. I hope a year or so will let this cigar calm down.
