Burned evenly with consistently smooth draw and perfect ash. Greatest smoking experience to date. This cigar is special and should not be rushed. It adds a whole new level to sitting on the deck and enjoying the fall colors.

This is one of the 1964 Anniversary Series,a 5x52 stunner of a smoke.Quite possibly the BEST cigar I have had. If cubans are better then cuba must be heaven .

The best damn cigar I've ever put in my mouth. Incredible, especially with good aging in the humidor.

"very very average sticks"
im from Europe,so ive been smoking nothing but cubans so far.finally in usa i have possibility to try all best non cuban cigars, opus anejo diamond padron etc(they are much cheaper in usa than europe and available to buy.got 5 sticks of each brand and thats my first review of this cigars:well blunt blunt blunt sticks,i discover no flavors that could attached me to this brand, very mild cigars,no power at all.good construction, nice looking sticks but waste of money, basically zero joy while smoking these babies.done with this brand forever.period.another padron misfire.nothing but hype here, well i dont like to smoke hype,im looking for flavors ,power and complexity .none of them exist in these cigars

"Padron 1964 Superior"
Smoked this about 6 months ago, but forgot to review. This was an excellent cigar, and I'k rank it about midstream for the 64 anniversary's. Maintained excellent flavor and extremely nice aroma.

"Waste of an anniversary gift"
Maybe it was the size, or a bad one -but one of the most dissapointing cigars ever. No flavor, loose construction - there are many more cigars for the pricerange like the Tribute 2004 Carlos Torano that blows this away.

"A box pressed slice of heaven!!!"
I cannot agree with some of the reviewers here who say these cigars are overpriced! I'm a cheapskate when it comes right down to it but I don't mind spending nine bucks on something that satisfies, relaxes, and puts a smile on your face like these Padron 1964 cigars. This is my 4th or 5th one and I am consistently impressed. The flavor is basically the same as the larger ring gauges. Wood, leather, and nuts, with floral notes lingering in the air around you...These are the top as far as I'm concerned. 100% worthy of a special occasion!!! Everyday cigar? Maybe if you're Donald Trump.

"Outstanding!"
Absolutely what an excellent smoke is all about from start to finish. Great construction, draw, taste, burn ...

"VERY GOOD ... BUT NOT WORTH THE PRICE"
Too save time, just scroll down to the review by dave 4/21/2003 ... I agree with his thoughts 100%. My suggestion ... buy a box of Padron's "regular line." They are 1/3 to 1/2 the price of 1964's. I have some in my humidor aged about a year or two, and in my humble opinion, there is no huge difference between the Padron and the 1964 ... not nearly enough of a difference to pay $10 compared to $3-$4.

"Wonderful smoke"
As the whole of the Anniversary line, I thoroughly enjoyed this smoke. I unfortunately do not have the income at 18 to warrent buying a box of these, but they are great to smoke on occassion.

"very cuban like"
I have found the 1964 line to be consistent and outrageously expensive. This cigar is no exception. Good construction and burn. Very Cuban like, i.e., smooth, refined, and balanced yet one dimensional and lacking in character and flavor. Flat finish. The premium cigar market has become so competitive that an $8.00 CAO is often as good or better than a $13.00 Padron. This cigar is just not worth the money.

"Great Cigar"
This has got to be the best cigar I have every smoked. Great taste. The only problem was I had to discard it when I could'nt find a roach clip. Just couldn't stand the smell of my fingers burning.

"Sublime"
A cigar with greatr finesse reminiscent of the historically good Cuban H. Upmann lonsdale.
Although mild, it is a pleasure for a long time smoker.
