"Another good everyday smoke"
This is a well made cigar. The wrapper is a good maduro with very even color. The ash was white/gray and held together very well. There is more flavor in these than in the Natural No.II's. It is still a woodsy flavor but there is a taste of leather and a faint taste of chocolate. This is one of my go to cigars for a daily smoke.

"Dissapointed"
I have smoked quite a few cigars, although I am far from an expert- To me, this cigar did not have much flavor. Kind of a cheap flavor. Early on, it almost went out a few times. I had to toke hard a few times to get it going again. This cigar does have a nice draw with a good volume of smoke, and the ash is ok. I won't be smoking any more of these unless I get it for free.

"Good Hoyo"
This smoke had wonderful medium bodied flavor with a good construction. Ash was salt and pepper with woodsy-floral flavor and a touch of spice.

"I like them now."
I reviewed this back in 2002. It was too spicy for me. I like these sticks now. I must have killed enough tast buds with stronger cigars through the years becasue these sticks seem medium to me now. Always important to go back and re-try things. Overall, an attractive, flavorful smoke, with a nice medium body, and finish. Some minor burn and construction problems. Flavors of Dark chocolate, spice and earth are prevalent. I paid $3.50. A good value. At $6, IMO, not so good.

"The best cigar I've had"
This one takes the crown of the first 75+ different cigars I've smoked in my life. It has a wonderfully creamy, almost vanilla flavor. I didn't find it spicy in the least bit. I smoked a box of Excalibur #1's, and enjoyed them very much. Here is why I like the #2 maduro better: Managable size, impeccable construction, all around better flavor.

"disappointed"
A lighter maduro wrapper than most, looked a little rough. Taste started out with a nice chocolate flavor but had a very annoying high frequency metallic note to it. It then developed into a chocolate.oak.metallic flavor. This would have been a very nice cigar if it wasn't for the ever present metallic thing. Draw and burn were fine. No thanks.

"First Class Churchill"
This is a first class churchill: an easy draw produces tons of smooth, cool smoke loaded with cocoa flavor. I just can't imagine how any one could not like this cigar. I am all the more impressed because this cigar is inexpensive and widely available -- I wish the manufacturers who make limited production cigars that nobody can find would smoke some Excaliburs so they can see how to do it right.
