"Fantastic"
What a solid cigar. These quickly became on of my standard rotations. IMHO, these are the class of the Excaliber line.

"Won a free box"
I didn't know what to expect after I won a box of these. Smoked one last night for the first time and was impressed. Hints of coffee and chocolate and strong tobacco flavors. Smoked down to the nub. Fantastic cigar. Love the jet black wrapper

"A great every night cigar"
To begin with, I love the box-pressed shape. I've probably worked through 3 boxes in the last couple of years and found them to be very consistent. A good burn, fairly tight ash, decent smoke, and a nice mild finish. Since I'm a starlight smoker, I also find that it doesn't give me the "nasty-tongue" in the morning. For a budget-minded daily smoke, this one is very enjoyable. Also, being maduro and box-pressed makes this an eccentric cigar -- not just another arrow-in-the-quiver, as it were.

"Great looking stick, but..."
This stick was purchased just because I was looking for something new. This is not the one. The taste was a little to mild and full of cedar/leather flavor. I like spicey cigars, so this one won't do. Getting past the taste, the construction was good, if you like box press. The cigar burned fairly straight and it had a nice smooth draw.

"Cigars do not get much better."
The Prensado is probably my favorite cigar. Beautiful construction, soothing aroma, exquisite flavor from beginning to end, it is everything one looks for in a smoke.

"yummy"
Very attractive and well built cigar, with osuro vein free wrapper and solid box press. Still had a easy draw, straight burn, and strong ash. Flavor medium to medium/full, with coffee and spice. Smooth to the end, but I still prefer the #1 maduro.

"Savory"
This stick was dark with lovely construction and appearance. The foot lit well and held a very even burn, with notes that smack you with a coffe and sweet creamy finish. This smoke was just savory, it is just to bad it had to come to a end. A must try smoke for any one.

"Smooth as silk"
Nice chocolate brown Cameroon wrapper with a few small veins and very minor tooth. The cigar sported a stately black and gold band, large in size with attractive embossing. Well applied cap clipped cleanly with no tearing. Constructed with a firm roll and exhibited an excellent pre-light draw.

Lit easily and burned straight and even throughout. Medium bodied with a slightly nutty overtone, the flavor was pleasant with a small amount of spiciness. A large amount of mouth filling smoke billowed dense and white and filled the room with rich tobacco scent. The cigar drew perfectly, not too hard or easy, and the ash was firm and well behaved all the way to the band.

Accompanied with a Cappuccino, the Merlin was a fine complement to the cinnamon and rich cream. The finish was measured and pleasant with a slight lingering bite. Appropriate for mid day to evening, the cigar would hold its own with all but the most spicy and heavy foods.

Overall this was an excellent cigar that embodied the Excalibur line’s consistency and quality while adding an additional dimension of depth and flavor. Recommended.

Best of the Excaliburs. Was easy to see the blend of different tobaccos in the filler. Nice medium body with an earthy taste. Very oily wrapper. Recommended.

Has a nice touch on the mouth and an excellent aroma. Sweet and thick. Plenty of smoke. A bit lack of depth and flat. Overall, this is a pleasent smoke and well worth the money.

"Very Good Smoke"
All cigars so far have been very good, some superb from the same box. Some had questionable burns, the only draw back. As a whole very good smoke, some burned better than others

"Recommended"
This cigar has a very appealing oscuro and is box pressed, unlike other Excaliburs. The flavor was great from the start, but it burned hot at the end -- my fault, frankly, as I couldn't put it down and kept puffing straight through. Very good cigar for the money.

"Smoking chocolate"
I had one or two, liked 'em so much, went out and got a box. The press is A1. Solid, beautiful construction. Wrapper is dark mahagony, and flavor is chocolate, leather, something sweet and floral. Very medium body and very good complexity. It's the type of cigar that people unsolicited come up and ask you what you're smoking. I regular stock these babies.
