"Nice."
Got a box from 1998, half expecting them to have lost all flavor. I have never been more happy to have been wrong. These are very flavorful little doggies, alot of depth for a mild smoke. Makes me wish I would have gotten more.

"I like the Delicias better..."
...but this one is still pretty good. The stick I had was packed solid and drew perfectly. Despite the ash falling off every inch, (the cigar is made with short filler), it burned very evenly. The flavors started out with tea and then turned to leather, toast and espresso. Overall, not bad. Very tough to beat for $5 bucks. A great anytime cigar.

"fonseca cosaco"
I just recently tried one of these cigars I usually like HUpmann corona major tubos so I decied to try this cigar which is the same size but slightly less costly. I was delighted with the burn due to the construction it was medium bodied with a full flavour with hints of cedar pepper and spice. Overall a hidden treasure and a delightful Cuban smoke

"OK"
I decent, but not exceptional Cuban stick. This cigar (box code BVD 9/04) comes attractively wrapped in the trademark Japanese paper. It sports a slightly mottled appearance with a couple sun spots on the wrapper. Medium veining. Solid construction wihtout soft spots. Easy light. Good draw. Even burn without the need for corrections or relights. Gray black ash. Started with wood and nuts, and then introduced an herbal overtone with touches of wood, flora, and nuts in the first third. The middle third brought an intensification of the herbal and woodsy flavors, as well as raw tobacco. The last third continued with the herbal/flroal foundation and became a bit tannic. All in all, this 45 minute mild-to-medium bodied smoke was fairly one dimensional in that the flavors didn't change tremendously throughout the experience. I don't particularly care for an overly herbal cigar, but those that do will definitely enjoy this one.

"Great price"
This is a great beginners cuban at a great price. Mild and classic cuban taste. But don't pay more than 6 dollars... I get mine for 4 dollars, and at that price it's a must have cigar.

"Great bang for your buck"
Great cigar for the money you will have to cough up. I have been through two boxes over the last year and both were of good quality. Very consistent creamy taste. Avergage in the flavor department compared to other Cubans. The draw is good and the ash is firm. Very easy to burn your fingers with one of these.

"Not a fan"
Why is the average price paid 17 bucks? Somebody add a couple of zeros - this is a sub $5 cigar and tastes like one. I have had a few aged ones recently and am not a fan. Oh, they're decent enough, but are too mild for me. Although these are inexpensive as far as Cubans go, there are many cheaper non-cubans that I MUCH prefer.

"Dull"
I had some good expectations for these, sadly disappointed. Although cheap ($4 per stick) I found these lacked flavor and were disappointing overall. Dry earthy taste that never really developed. No nicotine effect, no aftertaste. If you are coming to these after smoking any other type of Cuban, I think you will be disappointed.

"Underrated"
I recently found a box of these on the bottom shelf of my local tobacconist’s humidor. I’d often heard good things about this lesser known and underrated Cuban corona, so I decided to give it a go. The price is very attractive. In fact, in Cuba, a box of 25 goes for $60.
I found the draw smooth but just firm enough; the burn was exact and the overall construction was pretty good. A bit on the medium-mild side, the Cosaco exuded cream every step of the way with mild hints of spice and nutmeg. The flavor intensified a bit for a more toasted finish, but never got too strong. A good smoke at a great value.

"Behind the veil - beauty"
The tissue wrapper is a unique touch. This mid-quality Cuban is on the lighter side flavor-wise. Value is the watch word and you get an average quality cigar for the money.

"Cuban?"
Smoked 2002-10. Lightish to mid-brown wrapper. Decent draw. Medium-bodied. Leans to the dry end of the flavour spectrum. Autumnal foliage leading to wood dust and faint saltiness. Quite ordinary overall.
