I'm not willing to rate any cigar a "10" yet. But, the Padron Maduros come damn close. The 2000, 3000 and 4000 are works of art and a taste experience that every Maduro fan should enjoy. Perfecto! My favorites!

My God!!! Padron's are in the crapper! And their very poor tasting cigars can't just be dismissed by claiming that all the bad ones (majority of them now) are counterfeits!!! Geez, what a lame excuse.

I smoke a 3000 M right out of the box. Supple to the touch, with a dark, almost oscuro wrapper. The shape was a little uneven, as can be common with the Padron regular line.
The cut and draw were perfect. Easy light. White ash. Big, classic Nica

"Go-to cigar"
My humidor, at any given time, has at least six different bands. Some I smoke looking for a new favorite...some good, some downright ugly. It seems, however, I am buying the Padron 3000 series every single time. It's not great, excellent, superb, or any of those overused adjectives. It's just downright good. It's construction leaves a bit to be desired. Sometimes I have to lick it like an ice cream cone to keep it together. The end cap is pathetic. It's shape overall is lumpy and dull. But it smokes well, tastes great, it doesn't cost so much that one resists tossing half a stick if necessary, and it is consistent. That's why, amid the $10 and $20 sticks in the humidor, I am never out of Padrons.

Not as good as the 4000M or 5000M but for the price it's worth it. I enjoyed this cigar very much considering it only cost $90 a box. Mild/Med flavors of nuts with a hint of herbal spice.

"Solid and Consistent..."
One of a few fiver's purchased from Taboo.com back in 06/05/08 and thus resting in the humi for the last 3 months. There's something to be said about letting a cigar rest for a spell between 63 to 66%RH. Excellent construction, prelite aroma and draw, copious amounts of smoke, flavor, and an even burn from start to finish. A cigar that you can always depend on when you need it.

"Nice stick!"
Had this cigar in my humi at around 67-70% for about 2 months after a purchase from Taboo (got free cookies!). The cigar was in a ziplock bag, in some higher heat for about 2 days. Smoked this cigar while walking around town on a hot summer night. Great burn, and good flavor. Seemed to get a little bitter after dropping the first ash.

"I'm down to two"
I have smoked countless cigars from all over the world. Since I can't get cigars from the ISOM on a regular basis, I've settled on this cigar. I visit the Padron offices in Miami at least twice a month. They Padron family has always made this a plesurable experience. They have helped me out in some of charitable ventures. Having said that, I smoked the 3000 maduro for the first time in October of '06. I have enjoyed the Padron line ever since. A nephew of the Padrons told me that once you start smoking Padrons on a regular basis, it's hard to smoke anything else. He was right. I love the cocoa flavor profile and the general consistency of these cigars. I finally have a go to everyday cigar I can call my favorite. You can't beat the value anywhere.

"Exceptional value"
The wrapper was toothy, the stick was supple, the aroma was cocoa. Prelight draw was sweet tobacco. There was a hit of pleasant, tangy spice at ignition which lasted throughout the smoke. The draw was a little tight for my liking, but not uncomfortably so. The maduro wrapper imparted a sweetness that never faded. Initial third had flavors of earth & cream; the cream increased midway and a mocha note moved forward. The last third was all mocha, earth & spice. Excellent complexity. As straight a burn as I’ve experienced. This was a medium/full body smoke, with a long finish and medium strength. Definitely a keeper!

"Consistent....Classic.... Champ"
I've been a fan of Padron cigaros for over a decade. From the regular line to the Anniversary line, I've pretty much had them all. I've also smoked countless other brands. If you're on this site you know that there's always a buzz that's generated from a high CA rating and then everyone scrambles to find a cigar that's out of stock (e.g. Oliva Serie V) or overrated . I've played that game for way too long. Going forward I'm going to stock my humi with one maduro and one natural. My choice for maduro will be this 3000.
This cigar is the perfect length so there's no waiting a quarter of the way for that great cocoa, nutty and tobacco taste. Instant delivery! It also draws perfectly smooth. No issues with the pull at all. At this price this maduro is simply untouchable. If you've smoked one you know. If you haven't tried one you owe it to yourself to. I'm almost 100% sure that if you were to put an Anniversary label on this it would easily sell for far more than the $4 a stick. There you go!

The aroma this exudes is just heavenly and is definitely it's strong suit. Construction is excellent with just a bit of canoeing, but self-correcting. Loads of smoke accentuate the delicious cocoa and sweet flavor. Highly recommended.

"Lets Get In A Rewiew For 2008"
This is my favorite cigar so forgive me as I cannot rate this one with TOTAL unbiasedness although I will not over exaggerate. The construction is rustic looking to me showing one of 2 things, bad treatment or age. In this case 4 yeas of age. They don't ship their boxes for about 4-6 months when they are sure that the cigar has rested and all tobaccos have married correctly. This is a cigar that is Great off the truck and Even better when you let it some time. I can't personally say when they reach their peak as I have none that have done so yet after 5 years. I think it is a great little cigar with big cigar taste, a Robusto that smokes like a Churchill. Very well packed with tobacco With good draw always. The construction is always good. Never a Problem that makes it unsmokable and neither are there anything to make them look special its all about the smoke. As long as it has been kept well I have never had to relight or fix a burn, as if they do start to burn uneven they will self fix if you rest it. Any problems with smoking would be from smoking too fast this is a slow smoker. The taste starts off with a woody cedar taste and quickly give way to a great cocoa flavor in the middle that rides on to the end. Always holds over an inch of ash (without trying I bet this 5 inch cigar could go almost 4 inches of ash if you tried, I haven't) Not like its a game (although it might be with some friends LoL) just to point out how well packed and rolled the cigar is to me this is the best cigar you can get for the price. Frankly I have had very few more expensive smoke that live up to a padron let alone better. (of course only non ISOM's) I do have to say one thing, if you're looking for a nice sungrown with a good cocoa flavor or this is it. Especially if you prefer maduro but I will say the same for the natural just without sweet maduro taste. In my opinion every country that has a Puro, have one that defines its country's tobacco and for Nicaragua, Padron is it. Especially since These are from the makers of the C.A. Cigar of the year for 2007.

"Another good Padron"
As with all the Padrons I have had, it had an impeccable burn but a poorly wrapped cap. I honestly don't care, and just habitually unwrap the whole cap anyway. 🙂 This cigar started out spicy with a fine maduro flavor, and turned earthy and medium with an odd 3 puff dead spot right in the middle. Otherwise smooth and nutty/earthy through the last inch. I slightly prefer the 2000M, being a bit cheaper and a bit more robust.

"Stick you can always count on..."
Although not blessed with very exotic look, this cigar offers the taste and overall experience of the much more expensive sticks out there. Slightly spicy in the beginning, taste very soon settles to nice woody flavor enriched with some coffee and nuts. Wrapper is dark and slightly oily, and appears to be thinner then most cigars. The only problem I have had with this stick was to punch it. It seems like it explodes every time. This can be solely due to very thin wrapper, and is characteristic to every cigar in this series.

"Subtly pressed Padron"
No need to have a fancy band on this cigar, all that is needed to know is that it is a Padron. The overall appearance is very nice on this stick. The wrapper was dark and oily with a nice smooth construction. The cap was a little ugly but that was fixed with the Xikar with no loose ends to be picked out. The construction was solid all around. The foot lit very well and held a nice even ash that was solid with no soft spots to make runs or re-lights a habit. The taste was medium with notes of rich peppery wood and a nice spicy finish of toast. A must try cigar.

I bought a 4-pack of these at the Padron factory retail store in Miami (they don't sell singles there, so be prepared to shell out some bucks!). "Best value in the Cigar World"
I am a bit biased because this is my go-to smoke. I smoke 4-5 cigars a week. (One super premium on the weekend, and Padron 3000's during the week). However, I believe I can rate this most recent batch I bought as among the finest 3000's I've ever smoked. The wrappers are more consistent than in the past, and the draw and burn have become strong points for this cigar - instead of drawbacks as they have been in the past. The blend is rich and full with cocoa, coffee, and some heavenly spiciness that I still cannot describe. If you put a fancier wrapper on this cigar, it would sell for $15. But as it is, it is an excellent cigar that provides what I believe to be the best value in the cigar world.

"Half a great cigar"
Nice overall appearance and construction, with a somewhat veigny wrapper with not much shine but good aroma. Once lit the cigar immediately comes to life, with strong notes of cocoa and coffee, helped by a generous draw. The first half of the cigar was thoroughly enjoyable, but the remaining half quickly deteriorated to less-bodied smoke with some bitter wood notes and a shorter finish (still smooth, though). If you don't mind smoking just 2-3 inches of a cigar, than this is it... A cigar should be smokable at least 3/4 of its total length, so halving the pleasure leaves a lot to be desired...

It has an oily dark chocolate wrapper, and not so viney. It¡¦s a bit hard to clip, with a good cap construction. Pre-light draw is smooth, with a hint of pepper. It has a nice straight resting smoke, and it burns slow. Smooth draw, with strong taste of cocoa, hints of sweetness and woody note, slight hints of spice and licorice. It¡¦s a medium-full bodied cigar, with rich tastes (bit of complexity). The ash is gray and firm, not at all flaky. Ash held for about an inch and a quarter before it falls off. Burn is a bit uneven. It was harsh for the first third, but smoke became smooth afterwards. The taste of spice isn¡¦t harsh. It doesn¡¦t mean it¡¦s not strong, cuz the tongue tingles a bit from the spices. The cigar doesn¡¦t burn hot, and it¡¦s tasty. Sort of like a dash of spice on a nice steak. Spent 50 minutes smoking this great cigar, and nubbed it!

"Not your best Maduro"
Great draw, even burn, visually drab, med body. Consistent flavor from start to finish. Light peppery to start and then a creamy coco all the way to the finish.. About the only difference between this and the natural is this is a little more on the coco side and maybe a little stronger if any. Otherwise they are about the same. If I’m going w/ a maduro though, I will probably go w/ another brand and stick w/ the natural for the Padron 3000.

"over-rated"
Was wondering what the fuss was all about. I still am. This tasted like a wooden stick. Uneventful. Will try again. Maybe I got the bad stick in the box

"perfect size"
I just finished smoking this at work, and it's a great size if you don't have all day. I always liked the Padron M series, and now I found my work smoke. You can't beat the price.

"Padron 3000"
A full bodied cigar with a touch of earthy spice that delivers an even taste until it's a stub between your thumb and index finger.
