This cigar is proof that Nicaraguenses are getting better and better. The tobaccos are rich in flavor and produce a solid smoke with a potentialy intoxicating aroma. The finish is solid but not deadly. I've smoked quite a few of these and the quallity

"Great cigar. Every time."
I was lucky enough to pick up a box of these on eBay for around $100. I had smoked some 1964 Anniversarios, which found to be excellent cigars, with a kind of sophisticatedly subtle flavor profile. When I smoked my first Padron Executivo, I was surprised at how similar the taste and smoke was to the pricier Anniversario. No note was overpowering; rather there were chords of creaminess, cocoa, leather, and the lightest touch of white pepper, conjoining in harmony, with absolutely no bite.

"An Old World Gem"
For the longest time I avoided the traditional Padron line of cigars. No idea why. But after trying more than a few recently, I really must say that I think they deserve their high marks.

The roll is truly old-world and obviously hand-made. Excellent draw with a wonderful soft feel in hand (I hate "hard" cigars). Lots of sweet rich aromatic smoke. The signature Padron flavor of sweet coffee and chocolate is evident. A great hour or more of pleasure. Yum.

No this is not a high-brow super-premium smoke with a ridiculously high price tag. Leave that stuff for people who don't have a clue. Instead, this is a wonderful, full flavored, gently sweet, delicious cigar that can be enjoyed on a regular basis. A real cigar smoker's cigar

If you are a traditional cigar lover - try a few. I think you will be happy.

"Time flies!"
I can't believe it's been 4 years + since I reviewed this smoke. I bought a box and still run across one in my boxes now and then. I smoked one this morning and can it is a wonderful "vintage" smoke. Not a 10 but close.

"classic"
I have NEVER had a bad Padron, across all the frontmarks, and this one is just great! Well made, smooth/rich smoke with hints of cocoa and coffee, with medium strength. Perfect burn and nary a trace of bitterness even at the nub. "Stole" a box at auction for $90!!

"Perfect!"
A dream of a cigar! These things taste (I swear!) just like chocolate cream pie with coffee accents. The construction, burn and draw are flawless and it's easy to produce tons of rich, creamy, cocoa-smelling smoke. At around $6 each, these things are an outstanding value. This yummy cigar is now my main smoke.

I like this cigar, especially with a year on 'em. Great Padron Nicaraguan flavor in a big format. Great for story time or a poker game with the guys.

"A classic Padron"
A healthy sized smoke thick full plume, medium flavor that builds, great construction dark leaf but blemishes on several of the sticks. Looking as a replacement on the golf couse to my old favorite the double chateau.

Nice hour and a half of medium coffee and cocoa flavor. If this cigar were stronger it would taste perfect. Can be overpowered with a strong drink. Great with coffee or an ale.
