"padron would get an a+ in marketing..."
So yes they do make some decent high end hard to find cigars... but when you go to your b&m what do you find???? the crappy overhyped padron thousands... marketing at its finest... if the 6000 would actually taste good there'd be no complaints, but alas it tastes like the bottom of my shoe...

"I was suprised..."
I don't believe I have ever had a bad Padron, but this was a real disappointment for me. Not a particularly handsome cigar; it looked as though not much effort was placed into it's construction and appearance.
The draw was extremely loose, and the flavor was very flat, to say the least. As well, the cigar did become fairly bitter at the halfway point. I don't know...maybe I just got a bad one, but the 2000 and 3000's were far superior to this stick.

"Better w/age"
I bought a box of these a couple years ago and I don't even remember my grievance initially. All are prefectly constructed with beautiful wrappers and ideal draw/burn just not much flavor. Oddly since the flavor was lacking I didn't think age would do much but now...damn! These turned into flavor bombs with great complexity and the rough notes are now gone. I need to try one now and see what the deal was with this box originally. I do agree though that bang for the buck wise the 3000M is the way to go.

"Great, consistent"
What a wonderful chocolaty maduro!! Great torpedo shape that really channels the flavor. I have always been a fan of the Natty, but this baby has a great classic maduro goodness and the 6000 is always so consistent in quality and flavor. The old standby for a GREAT smoke from Padron!

"I don't know...."
Smoked one of these earlier tonight. It had a typical maduro sweetness, but draw was horribly loose and tasted extremely bitter. After I clipped it, I noticed that there were many areas missing tobacco = loose draw. Got halfway and flushed it down the drain. Maybe I just don't like Maduros, but a shouldn't have been that bitter. Tasted like a relight.

"Could be better"
This was another good looking and tasting cigar from Padron. I guess I'm a bit spoiled from smoking the 1926 and 1964 series and I missed the volumes of smoke I found there. Therefore a tough draw is my only complaint here.

"3000 M is better"
While I agree that this is a fine cigar, and that 6 bucks a stick is not all that bad, I would still recommend the 3000m for both price and size. I was able to grab a box of 3000s for 2.50 a stick! I can never find the 3000s for under 5. Perhaps people think because the number is higher that the quality is too? Not so! This is a medium stick with an even blend that changes profile as you smoke. Just a nice blend by padron.

"Consistently GOOD"
After trying Padrons for the past two years, the 6000 Maduro delivers with consistency. This cigars has one of the better draws of any, it starts with a strong coffee/dark chocolate flavor with a touch of spice, then it mellows through the middle, and the last third hits you with the Padron signature light buzz. I've had most cigars out there for twice as much, this is my favorite cigar for the money.

"OK"
This smoke was not what I thought it would be, especially after ageing it for a year and a half. I really like Padron’s, and Nicaraguan smokes in general, but this one did not have any of the fully, spicy flavors I was hoping for. I was pretty dull with some clover and alfalfa flavors. Overall, I didn't like it very much, but I'm not really sure what to think. It's possible that it just didn't age well, but I won't know until I try a younger one.

"Almost Forgot"
I went away from this cigar for about 6 months after finishing a box, but I picked up another box just before I finished the first one & decided to let them chill for a little. Obviously 6 months later I picked one out of the humidor, & once again I'm back on em again. I've spoken to other enthusiast of this cigar about aging these, and the return will be much like a 1964. I must say, they aren't, but they get a similar characteristic that I love about the 64's. The one I just smoked, had that silkiness that the natural 64's have, but with more of a charred coffee flavor. The aging has definetly mellowed out the spiceness that is typical of Padron's thousand line, & created a smoother smoke & with no bitterness toward the end. All in all the aging has created a more consistent smoke that is enjoyable like a 64, but without the extra complexity that a 64 has to offer. Plain and simple, Padron has great tobacco, which in turn provides consistent taste, & you always know what you get. Take care of your cigars, and they will be good to you. Much like Padron does for me and other fans out there of Padron.

"Old Faithful"
I'm a huge fan of these. Would be an everyday smoke for me if I could swing it. Perhaps I've just had good luck in getting them in good shape from my local shop? Great looking and the Padron maduro color is exceptional. Highly recommend this rich and smooth torpedo. Very, very nice all around. It's just a bit pricey.

"Wow very nice!"
After a strong cocoa start this cigar turned mildish for the first inch. Others have not had this effect so the first one I had must have been a mediocre stick. These cigars build in strength throughout with spicy cocoa, coffee, toffee and leathery tones throughout. It was smooth and fairly strong but never overpowering. Nearly as good as the 1964 line with a much more attractive price.

"deep flavor..."
I aged this 6000 for a couple months and I thought it was one of the better Padrons I've had. Draw was too tight, so I clipped it again and then draw was perfect. A very deep, rich, maduro flavor with nice spice. Some Earthy notes and rich dark woodiness w/ notes of cocoa. Finish was long-lasting. Medium to Full-bodied. Would not pay retail for these, but this one was given to me. I will rate value by the $7 Average. Wrapper was beautiful as with all the Padrons and smoke was smooth. Not much change in flavor throughout the cigar.

"Diddo"
I'm of the same opinion as those who believe that the other "thousands" are a better buy and smoke. My favorite the 3000m, considering it is about the same size for less. Anyhow, I have smoked 5 of these sticks now and they all burn hot. The tobacco flavor is not as pronounced and the long spicy finish did not agree with me.

"Good smoke with better potential"
No. 23 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of 2004. It has a dark, rich color and a distinctive sharp cap; you'll have to clip off a good portion of that cap or you'll have a tight draw, so keep your cutter handy just in case. It smokes great with a lush draw, mostly straight burn, and plenty of smoke. It's peppery with some chocolate and wood flavors with a chewy texture; sharp at first, it mellows out somewhat as it's smoked. Some people have suggested that if you have the patience to age these long term, you essentially create an Anniversary cigar. That could be the case as this smoke is similar to the Anniversary line but it lacks the smoothness; aging should make them even better.

"Wanted more"
Maybe my expectations were too high. I've had several 1926 Maduro Belicosos--the best cigar I've smoked, bar none-- and really wanted to like this one too. Bought five a year ago. Kept hoping they would improve over time. Today I smoked the last one. Good looks and construction. Burned nicely. Just lacking in character. I wouldn't turn one down, but wouldn't stock it either, even if they were cheaper. For reference, my favorite affordables are Ashton VSG, Partagas Black Label, and Cusano Exclusivo.

"Rough looking"
This stick was rough in appearance with a dark bumpy wrapper. The foot lit well and burned very even all the way to the nub. The notes were of cocoa and leather with a hint of spice on the finish. A nice smoke just looked a little ugly in appearance.

"best of the regular padron's"
this cigar, has a different flavor profile than those in the regular padron line, which is a nice change ( the others seem to all taste the same to me ) and more spice & complex flavors, it does tend to get a little stronger towards the end of the cigar but not a bad thing either

While on vacation in Hawaii..i picked up a few cgars from a local shop, the 6000M being one of them. It definitely is a bit pricier than other padrons. While smoking the stick, it tasted just like every other padron, but with a bit more spice. Made that tongue tingle...good solid smoke.

"Another nice padron"
Stopped over at my local crack house...er...tobbacconist to buy one of these. Like all Padrons, a beautiful cigar to behold, nice chocolate colored wrapper, a few small veins. Clipped it and it lit right up. Perfect draw, nice tobacco flavor with some wood and maduro character. This is not a big cigar, and the price is quite a bit higher than the 2000M, negatively affecting its value.
