Young cigar with no flavor complexity. Some spice and medium body with not much else. Very poor corona and much like the rest of the Vegas Robaina line.

"I'll take the Unicos"
I tried the Unicos and it was so good I almost wet myself and therefore had high expectations for this stick. Unfortunately, while this is a perfectly decent smoke, well constructed and all that, the flavour and aroma fell a long way short of the Unicos.

"Nice PC"
The VR Familiar had a nice sweet prelight draw. The burn was excellent, though the wrapper came apart near the end of the smoke. Nutty and earthy flavors, more towards the mild side, but lots of smoke with good flavor. Prefer some of the larger VRs, but this is a nice one when time is short.

"Nice discovery"
Nice cigar, burned well and evenly. I found a nice nuts/chocolate flavor (coming from the wrapper?) but not too strong. This is a nice cigar to try.

"A little surprise"
I had forgettn about this box for over a year and boy was i imressed with what a little aging can do.
I enjoyed every minute of an hour long smoke.

"A confirmation"
Part of a box bought in Madrid last March. After 6 mths in the humidor, I smoked another Familiar last evening. I can't but confirm that, despite its small(ish) size this is a great cigar, medium bodied, complex, with earth and leather flavors. A must for a relatively short smoke, very close to a Montecristo #4 in quality and flavors. Excellent value, too.

"Great smoke..."
Light-Medium body cigar with a creamy/earthy taste. Also experienced some choclate & spice towards the end. Great draw, never went out and the ash didn't want to fall! I didn't want to put this one down and I have to say a wonderful smoke.

"Complex and great"
I thought it was an easy smoke...well, actually, not. A complex mid size cigar in the purest cuban tradition, spicy, complex, changing attitude through time. A bit difficult to keep lit, though, especially towards the end

"Abundance of flavor"
A beautiful dark and oily wrapper with an abundance of flavor. As good as the Boli Corona. Nice strong finish.
