The Romeo y Julieta will always be my top cigar of choice. The after taste was like a pretzel. The ash almost went to the neck wrapper when i stood up a little fast and she blew away!

"Not bad"
This was a nice, mild-to-medium stick with sweet notes of vanilla and a perfumy aroma. There was not much richness to it though, but I can't complain for the price. While it wasn't the greatest cigar ever, it wasn't bad and would be a great first Cuban for a new smoker. For that reason, I would consider keeping a couple of these on hand for friends. Otherwise, there are better selections out there.

"Another Sales Meeting Stick"
This was one my buddy gifted me back in the winter. I picked it, because of the tubo, to take up to the sales meeting in the mountains. The first night I slipped away so I could relax without the sales reps around. It didn’t punch well and the draw was a monster. The roll was hard and tight for about two inches out from the head. I worked and worked it, rolled it between my fingers until it loosened up a bit. It burned fairly straight and had some fun flavors going on. Just a little too much work when what I really wanted to do was relax and watch the night come on over the Wasatch.

"Nice"
I liked this one way better than a Siglo II, Siglo VI, and Monte #2. Nice flavor, unique aroma, good value too. I was about to dismiss Cubans until I smoked this little doggie.

"good"
Aged 1.5 years. Average looking, mild-medium bodied cigar contained in an attractive container. I have, so far, not been a big fan of the RyJ profile, but this was surprisingly good. Started out soil.leather.oak then shifted to soil.cedar.new_leather, then to a soil.leather.pepper.savory flavor. Burn was fine, draw was a little tight in spots. Overall, quite good.

"Excellent. A Cigar that is Hard to Beat."
Rolled perfectly.
In Australia we pay top Dollar for imported Cigars, so when your paying between $10-$40 for a smoke you really want to enjoy it.
This cigar doesn't disapoint.
The flavour from first lit was a mix of sweet at the tip and aged smokey (from the curing) flavours as it burned.
Definitely a Cigar that's hard to beat.

"First Romeo y Julieta"
It’s ironic that my first Romeo y Julieta would be a tubo. I usually shy away from tubos due to several unpleasant surprises they have produced. This on the other hand was a wonderful cigar. Smelled of rich cedar when it was lit and had a nice earthy flavor. Smoked two of these with my father-in-law.

"Nice cigar"
Sweet pre-light draw, then a nice even burn and medium draw. Lots of smoke, with a earthier flavor than some of the other RyJ. Less complexity than I hoped for, but good flavor throughout.

"Pretty good but I expected better"
I would say that the Reserve Real or even the 1875 Bully are almost as good and a lot cheaper. This one had a better, more complex flavor, but the draw was a little tight and the burn a bit uneven. I would say the flavor was kind of sweet and somewhat creamy. I would like to try a RyJ Cuba in a larger gauge...maybe the draw would be better and I could get the ful flavor without pooping off my head from inhaling.
