"Lucky 13"
If found some of these stashed away in my humidor after 13 months. It has been at least 9 months since the last one I smoked. I must say that I don't rmember them being this good. The flavor was one dimensional in that it didn't change but its profile was complex. Hints of coffee, chocolate, wood, spice all in a nice cool even burn. I'll be looking for more at a bargain or I may even try the seconds.

"ok"
I got a five pack for $7 a real bargin over regular price. The first half of this cigar was uneventful but the last half was what I expect of the vintage 90 series. 30-45 minute burn. Construction good, minor defects but burned straight and true.

"Ruined my show"
I lit this up to watch a beautiful lightning storm. I was dissapointed. Looks great but the smoke was one dimensional of a plain tobacco/grassy taste. I was wanting more. Now I must light up a Tatuaje to rid my mouth of this funk.

"Expected more"
Nice looking wrapper with a good pre-light aroma. Draw wasnot bad; a little on the tight side. Started out a little harsh but settled in to a one dimensional smoke. Mostly wood, with a little leather occasionally. Had a slight, unpleasant metallic twinge towards the end. Started canoeing past the halfway point. All in all, not worth the $5 price tag. I expected a little more maduro depth and fullness...but not there.

"Good Winter Smoke"
This is a good winter smoke for those who live where winters can be a little harsh and lengthy. Its flavor is a little like hot chocolate and if you must decide between smoking outside or losing your wife, this cigar is usually finished before frostbite sets in (usually). I can't say I like it as much as the 1990 Vintage Toro, but it's still a darn good cigar. I must also note that I paid only three bucks apiece for these sticks and I can't see paying much more.

Good little cigar to smoke if time is an issue. Peppery, leather notes towards the midpoint. Can't wait to try the larger sizes.

"classic"
No cream or chocolate or coffee, none of that, just a straight forward woodsy pleasant consistent smoke. Slight touch up to correct the burn. Even flavor till the end. Brother in law bought me one of these for 4.99, well worth it if you ask me, beautiful cigar with a great aroma.

"happy if it was cheaper"
This dark somewhat toothy cigar had a nice pre-light flavor. Once lit it was all about chocolate for me though there was no sweetness there. Finish was short, burn was perfect though I did have to relight once. Smoke smelled nice but there wasn't tons of it. I have sampled this cigar twice and the second one sat in the humi for 2 months and it made a huge difference. All harshness and bitterness is gone. I have one more and I'll probably wait another couple of months. Not a great value in my opinion. I paid over $6 and I do notice most people did not pay that much. Even at $4-5 this is not a great bargain. I'd been thoroughly pleased if I paid $3.50 for this. Will not be buying again.

"better now"
After seven months in the humidor, I have no more burn issues with this cigar. The flavors have not changed much, but they were good in the first place. I still would not pay 5 bucks for a cigar this size, so I was please to find a good deal on these so that I did not have to.

"smooth, but no robusto"
I won a 5 pack for 11 bucks. Smoking my 2nd one right now. I am pleased thus far, and i am about halfway through. It burns evenly, and the draw is just a bit on the tight side, but good for a small cigar. Just slow, long puffs; that's the ticket. It does taste good, medium bodied, a bit peppery, woody, and a dryish finish. I found the robusto to be a bit more complex in flavour, more refined, so to speak. As far as construction, burn, and appearance, it is, imho, equal to the robusto. Tastewise, it is inferior, but close (due to the ring guage, perhaps). I did enjoy this cigar, it was good!

"Decent cigar"
This cigar cost me about $5.00, and was a very quick burn. But for such a small stick, it had a complex flavor to it. The only downfall was the hottness of it throughout. Overall and good cigar though.

"less taste less filling"
Even as a newbie I found that this cigar had little taste and no complexity. It burned well and the draw was easy, but there just wasn't much there. No harshness and not a bad aftertaste, but still I found it pretty boring even though it's only 4.5 inches.

I also realized I won't buy any more square cigars. I like having a cigar feel right no matter where I happen to be holding it.

"Okay little smoke"
Smoother than the 1992 Petit Corona, but you sacrifice a little flavor for it. Not a bad cigar, and gives you a nice 45 minute smoke. Decent, thick leather and tobacco flavor in this, with the flavor not realy varying at all from start to finish on this one. Pretty good, but I definitely prefer the 1992s to the 1990s in this size.

"RP Petit"
Epi is correct, this is pretty much a smaller package to the RP OLD WORLD. Nice short smoke and the flavor stays pretty well unchanged by the small ring size. I did have a minor burn issue toward the end, but it did not hurt the experience. I'd pay no more than 4 bucks for this though as it is a short smoke.

"Liked it better than the Sun Grown"
When you're smoking a Petite Corona, you can't expect it to taste quite as good as it's larger siblings.

With that said, I will tell you that I have also smoked the Rocky Patel Sun Grown corona. The Sun Grown was good, but didn't blow me away. In my opinion, this was the superior of the two smokes.

It had good flavor, burned well, had a nice draw, and a pleasant flavor courtesy of the well-aged tobacco within. The flavor had hints of spice, a little sweet, and a little salt. Finish was a bit short, but overall a solid smoke.

Not the greatest value for $4.99, but you could do worse. Personally, I like Rocky Patel's The Edge Maduro Torpedo the best, though I have a Vintage 1990 Robusto that has yet to be smoked. I'm curious to see if the larger size offers more complex flavors...

Overall, solid, but not earth shattering. It's worth a try, that's for sure.

"an average little stick"
A really pretty, well constructed stick. Starts well with a slightly uneven burn. Strong taste but a bit flat with no standout flavor. Good draw. Will probably look elsewhere next time I'm looking for a petit. Expensive for what it delivers.

"Disappointing"
Cigar looks great, construction is great and makes your mouth water in anticipation. But, found it to be bland and with no particular taste that I could taste. Rocky Patel Sun Grown petit corona was far better in my opinion. Also, I had earlier in the week had a fuente hemingway short story which I love so you can imagine how disappointed I was with this petit corona. Stick with the RP sun grown petit corona or move on to the hemingway short story.

"The definition of average..."
Looking for a post-meal smoke with some bite...don't bother looking here. The presentation leads you to believe this cigar is going to taste so good, but it doesn't. The construction, draw and burn were fine, but the flavor was horrendous. Seriously, this tasted like a litter box in your mouth. Nothing about this cigar was remotely impressive. Don't waste your money.

"Pricey, but tasty"
A very handsome little square-pressed cigar, and so smooth right from the get-go. After the first quarter-inch of solid smoke, a nutty, coffee flavor came in and stayed through the length of the cigar. A few hints of sweetness also came and went to keep my interest piqued. The burn was a little uneve, but it kep correcting itself, and draw was perfect with a small cut to match its small diameter. It's a little too pricey for me, especially since I bought this in my favorite California-taxed cigar shop. But this little cigar gives a big smoke and big flavor; it's worthy of a sample every now and then, even a box buy if you don't mind popping for it at about $5 a stick online.

"Must have got a bad one"
I tried this cigar for the first time and it looked beautiful but was hopelessly plugged. I tried what I could to get it going right but nothing worked. I want to try it again however because I think I must have just gotten unlucky this time. Rockys new regular sungrown line seems like a better value as well.
