"The R must mean rejects."
Many in the bundle just wound not smoke. If I was able to get a draw from it would just burn very uneven. The flavor was OK but this was such a poorly constructed cigar that it was hard to taste anything And whats up with the wrapper? I think the wrappers are dyed. After smoking one of these it looked in the mirror and I looked like a toddler that just ate chocolate pudding. For the price I wasn't expecting a 1990 vintage or anything, but I did expect a cigar that didn't run horribly, make a mess and give me a headache.

"Rocky Patel CAN make a lousy cigar..."
After smoking many other RP sticks (Vint90, Vint92, both Olde Worlds, Fusions, SunGrown) I thought Rocky Patel couldn't fail. WRONG. The R4 is WAY inferior in flavor to any other RP. Bought 25, smoked 2 right away, couldn't get past 2 inches before I couldn't stand 'em. After 6 months in humi, tried 3 more, still lousy flavor. Wrappers fragile, tight draw, too. Makes me wonder if Rocky gets rid of tobacco that doesn't make the grade for his other blends in the R4?

"Plugged"
I bought one bundle of the toros. Of this bundle, over half were plugged. I dry boxed, drilled holes down the center and they remained unsmokable. I liked the flavor of the cigars I could smoke. The others were like sucking a watermelon through a straw. Expensive cigars if you have to toss half of them. But, if you're a camper, you can use them as tent stakes.

"worse than the Corojo"
These dog turds taste worse than their light colored corojo cousins. I split a bundle of each corojo/maduro with a guy at work and they are both bad tasting garbage. Rocky Patel needs to calm down on his ever expanding product line and concentrate on perfecting his existing smokes IMHO.
