"Could be better"
Nice looking stick with good enough flavor, but slightly tight draw and major burn irregularities left a lot to be desired.

"no knockout"
I know a lot of people that smoke these and the seconds of these regularly, but I just got one in a sampler and found it blah. Oh well.

"Rich and flavorful"
This cigar was very rich and creamy. There were notes of coffee and caramel and the slight hint of chocolate. The draw was perfect as expected with rocky patel cigars, however there was moderate to severe tunneling and canoeing which is also expected from rocky patel cigars. Overall I would say this is a good after dinner, special occasion cigar and despite the burning issues I loved it.

"Paint it black"
One of the worst dye jobs I've ever seen. I could rub my brown fingers together and the stuff would flake off like dirt. Lousy burn. Flavor, honestly, was good but the negatives outweigh the positives with this one, especially when you factor in the ridiculous price tag on these sticks. Rocky should be embarrassed about this line.

"Disappointed"
I am a big RP fan, I like most of his blends. This stick came in a RP sampler from CI, so I only paid $2 for it. I lit it up after four months in humi, expecting greatness, but I was unrewarded. Flavor reminds me of a bland version of El Rey Del Mundo Robusto Larga. Burn was straight, but the ash was nearly black, similar to the ERDM RL. Construction was great, but it's a moot point. I am very glad I did not pay full price for this cigar. I'm rating the value section based on the $12 retail price tag. I recommend snagging one of these for cheap if you must try it.

"hard to say for sure"
This was a great-looking and impressively fragrant maduro. A hard cigar for me to review because mine was awfully dry, picked it up from a liquor store sliding-glass "humidor" (bad idea, especially at this price). However there was no mistaking this wrapper, impressively fragrant. It was hard to tell which problems were due to dryness and which I could actually blame the cigar for, but it burned horribly, worse even than a maduro usually should. It also got a little harsh and acrid, but seems like that's the dryness. I have a feeling this is a great cigar, but that's to be confirmed for me.

"Good Experience"
Smooth smoke, great flavor, and wonderful arroma. Ash held well and the flavor was consistent through the smoke.

"One of Rocky's Best"
A great med-bodied cigar with great construction. This cigar is probably the nicest of Rocky Patel's line. Nice dark oily wrapper that produced a perfect draw and burn. I had a white ash about half way down the cigar before it dropped into the ahytray. The chocolate and spice flavors are definately there, with some creamy/sweet undertones. A great after dinner cigar out back with your favorite Scotch or beer.

"one of the best"
I'm turning into a Rocky man. These cigars are dense and heavy out of the box, have a pretty average smell (given the class/price range they are in), and a very peppery taste when licking the wrapping pre-light. After lighting, . . . whoa, just relax. Surprisingly mellow, even construction, even burn. The pull is a little tough, but otherwise nears perfection. And it's not so much Maduro as it is (maduro). Lovely.

"Smooth Experience"
I have smoked numerous rocky cigars this is one of the best. Peppry taste and burns very true. Nice white ash. Rocky cigars keep getting better all the time this one had a great overall medium body flavor, needs to be one to keep in your humidor

"Rico Suave"
Starts up smooth and medium in body with a lot of sweet bean flavors, then slowly develops into a rich chocolate bomb. Burns slowly and mostly evenly -- a little jagged at times but it corrects itself. The flavors don't really go through a big transition, though it does throw in a little more spice as time goes by. It's rich enough that lack of complexity doesn't matter very much. Very nice cigar. Retail price is a bit much, but probably worth it anyway.

"Perty good seegar"
Not bad, I've had 2 thus far, so me thinkest I can review this sucker with some integrity. An attractive box pressed cigar with a nice oily maddie wrap. It took some time for it to warm up and exhibit some pleasant flavours. About halfway down is when it really blossomed into a complex medium bodied cigar. The burn was a bit off at first, but soon corrected itself. Overall, I was pleased, a great product from Rocky Patel.

"As good as it gets"
Wow creamy and smooth is what this cigar is. Nice spice to start the builds slowly towards the end. Smooth and tasty draws with a very smooth finish to it, and one of the whitest ashes I have ever seen, beautiful. This is a super premium smoke. No problems with construction problems at all, with a great draw.

Loved the Vintage 1992 so gave this a try based on the reviews. Superb draw, medium spice increases as the cigar gets shorter. starts and finishes well. Smooth and creamy.

"As Close to perfect as I have ever smoked."
I went to the local store in search of a new higher tier cigar to try as i usually do each weekend. Chris at the store told me to try this one and was so confident that he offered to reimburse me if i didn't love it. He was right. This is as close to perfect as it can get. It lit right up and the flavor immediatly comes out. It has very effortless draw and a very creamy taste like no other. Each puff finishes with a slight spicey taste which can be compared to a slight black peppery taste. It has a stunning wrapper with hardly any veins. It burns very evenly and has a nice white ash. it burns so well in fact that i put it down for about 15 minutes and when i picked it back up and puffed it was like i never put it down at all. it has a true medium body which may be mistaken for a med. to full because of its full creamy flavor. Overall it was woorth every penny and i have a new favorite. The Rockey Patel line has yet to disappoint me, but this cigar is a knockout. I have a new favorite. I reccomend that any avid cigar smoker to try one of these in order to find out about what you have been missing out on.

"whoa... what happened here? Fantastic!"
Stunning non-Cuban smoke. Only had two so far, but am marveling at how nice a smoke this is. I am not sure how much I paid (it was 114F in Phoenix when I bought them), but it's got to be worth it based on the experience... Nice nice nice.

"Nothing ROCKY about this world class maduro"
I took home a few of these from a golf outing given by a local tobacconist...and I couldn't wait to spark one up. This is a gorgeous cigar. Beautiful, almost ebony wrapper in a sexy box pressed figurado shape...magnificient construction. As you might imagine, all of the hallmark flavors of a great maduro are here...dark chocolate dominates a creamy, nutty, well balanced flavor profile that has a long, satisfying finish. If you like a smooth, less "in your face" smoke...this is it. That isn't to say that it lacks flavor...it is just so smooth that it satisifies in a very subtle, understated fashion. Wow...I can't wait to have another.

"Best R.P yet"
Smooth, if a bit mild, with an excellent draw and burn. Earthy flavors, with less spice than other RPs. Straightforward taste, a nice cigar for the back yard.

"Bravo Rocky!"
Stunning cigar with a lingering auroma of cocoa and damp earth. VERY slow burner with excellent draw and perfectly snow-white ash. Coats the pallet with chocolate and spice. Near-perfect cigar.
