"top notch"
Hints of earth, chocolate and just a bit of spice make this very special cigar very tasty. Great construction, great balance. Mellow and strong but not overpowering.

"first tier +"
perfect box pressed construction and dark wrapper is definate eye candy. perfect burn and draw. Intoxicating aroma with a spice, dark chocolate- hint of pencil lead flavor. For a non cuban- its about as good as it gets.

"Not quite a 95 - but...."
After CA gave this a 9.5, I had to try it, but was skeptical of the high rating for the price. I have loved RP cigars for a number of years and bought a box and into teh humi for about three months. Very pretty maduro type wrapper though smoked not as dark as it looked. Very fine burn, draw and flavor - definitly a great buy for about 10 bucks.

"Simply Awesome"
The best cigar I've had - possibly ever, and I've tried some fine sticks. It pained me to pay the full retail price, but must say I enjoyed every minute of it and didn't feel ripped off.

"The Best. Period."
Wow. This cigar is the best thing ever made by mankind. Perfect draw. Excelent flavor. The smoke smells amazing! The best in the buisness.

"Amazed!"
Full body, yet very smooth... as one reviewer put it - "smells good enough to eat". Hints of chocolate and nuts, especially after 1st third. Loosely packed for an easy draw (remember to knock off the ash often), although the draw became very tight during last third. Required a couple touch-ups to keep the burn straight. Overall, one of the best I've smoked.

"Relaxing, full flavored but smooth"
This is a fine cigar. Nice construction, smells good enough to eat, nice aroma when lit, great draw, all around, quite nice. Full flavored but smooth and doesn't leave one weak in the knees.

"Absolutely Phenomenal Smoke"
Full flavored, but smooth. The smoke was creamy with hints of cocoa and hazelnut, just an all around great after dinner cigar. Highly recommended if the $10 price tag doesnt bother you.
Well constructed, great draw, I just cant say enough about how much I enjoyed this cigar.

"Am I missing something?"
I don't get the reviews here. This cigar was so bad that people around me told me it smelled like burning rubber. It was one of the worst cigars I have ever had. Thankfully it was a gift and I didn't waste any of my own money on this overhyped piece of junk.

"Strongly disagree"
It seems I'm in the minority here... but I found this smoke to be flat, one-dimensional. I kept waiting for 'something' to happen. I'm really shocked by the "95" rating as the folks at CA tend to go for full-bodied smokes... this is NOT a full-bodied smoke. Well made, nice appearance, burn was consistent... but it pales in comparison to others at the same price point (Tatuaje), and quite a few at lower MSRP (Oliva Servies V, Leon Jimenes)

"Very good smoke"
Great looks and draw. Fine taste, but required many touch ups. Have to admit some disappointment as hard as it was to find these. I enjoyed the Lonsdales much more as I found the flavor and burn much better. Still a very good smoke.

"Wow...."
I was worried that the high CA rating might overhype this cigar, but I must say that it's all that. This gem oozes with creamy and cocoa flavors and draws smoothly the whole distance. Highly recommended.

"The Toro is better"
After all the hype it has been really hard to locate these cigars. A friend and I were able to find the toros, but not the torpedos. Loved the toros, and was very excited when we finally got our hands on some torpedos since their rating was higher (95). Was disappointed compared to the toro. It was still smooth, but was spicier and less smooth than the toro. Also, this cigar loaded up pretty quick. Couldn't even get to the final third of the cigar before having to ditch it. A bit over-priced in my opinion, and not a 95. I have smoked better cigars with lower ratings, and better cigars that cost less. Still, a VERY GOOD cigar overall. Wish the flavors were a bit more complex though.

"Awesome"
The first 1/2 inch perked my right up, I wondered what I had gotten myself into. Started off very strong, but good, and gave way quickly to somewhere between mid-full flavor. It is fairly complex changing 3 or 4 times in strength and taste. I smoked it to the nub, I mean down to the last quarter inch. Burned for about 2 hours!! And burned even with a nice long ash. $8/stick, I bought the last 3 in the box. It reminded me alot of the Oliva Series V torpedo just box pressed and stronger and more complex at times

"Right on"
When I saw the 95 rating in CA, I was surprised. I bought one today and have to agree. Maybe not a 95 but very, very good. Rocky nailed it with this one.

"Another winner from Rocky"
I'm a huge Rocky Patel fan, so when I saw the decade in my local B&M I decided to pick up a couple. I had the torpedo. Fantastic smoke that is all smooth flavor and a little spice. Earth, and coffee are the big flavors here. For the price you just can't pass it up. Bravo Mr. Patel

"Another great vintage RP cigar"
This cigar is another great vintage from Rocky Patel. The construction and look were great and the draw and burn was almost perfect. A little uneven at the start, but quickly fixed itself. This is a med bodied cigar with flavors of cream and wood. Also hints of spice and nuts throughout. I great med strength cigar that goes great with your favorite Scotch.

"surprize!"
Tried this one yesterday! What a pleasant smoke! rich creamy smoke with an undertone of chocolate flavors in the beginning. Later in the smoke the taste became spicy but not overpowering. the draw was perfect and it burned evenly. Very nice smoke.
