"So-so"
Saw good reviews for this Series here on Top25 so picked up a sampler on CBid. The yellow was my first. Let it sit in the humi for about 2 mos before smoking to give it time to settle down

Appearance and Construction: Not so great. Wrapper is a bit sloppy, bumpy, with a couple of bad seams (I don't think this is a storage issue -- humidity is steady and other sticks in the humi don't have any problems at all). Cap is solid. The stick feels a bit lighter than I'd expect.

Burn: Ok. Ash is a little flaky, burn needs some correction. Burned out on my twice in the second half.

Aroma/Flavor: a little light on both. I'd call this a medium bodied cigar. What flavor there was was good -- clean, creamy, smooth -- but not very complex. And I was surprised that there wasn't much of the twang that I expect from a cammie.

Overall: just ok. Wondering whether I just got one of the inconsistent sticks other reviewers mention. If so, I'll update.

"good just that"
A colleague gave me a box of it with 3 of each color of these, i tried the yellow first. Good appearance, very good construction, great burn the flavor is nice, nutty, earthy but theres no complexity, the same from start to finish, overall a good cigar but lacks of complexity.

"Mellow Yellow"
This cigar is very much on the mild side, with a nutty-cedar flavor that is not going to set the cigar world on it's ear. I've also noticed some consistency problems as the taste varies widely between cigars even in the same five-pack. The burn, appearence and construction of this stick are about average or a little above. Not as good as the red and green, selections, but better than the Serie 55 Blue.

"A good, solid smoke"
I like the yellow 55s. Buddy and I split the 20 55 sampler (4 of each) and I think the yellow is my favorite. Nice tight ash, the right "cigar aroma" and stayed smooth to the finish.

"Oh so mild"
I have not been very pleased with the 55 series in general but liked this stick. It is VERY mild and as described by others nutty in flavor with a sweet after taste. Construction was OK, (a little cap problem) and it looked good. The burn was pretty straight and to date this is the tightest ash I have seen on the 55 series. Its lack of complexity might be an issue with some folks but I found it to be a pleasant afternoon and when in the mood for a mild flavored, smooth smoke will keep these in the rotation. BUT not at $7 bucks + a piece. It’s a 2 dollar cigar!

"MSRP is way off"
Unimpressive mild morning stick with excellent construction and even burn. The smoke volume was lacking, as was the flavor. Trying to describe the flavor would be difficult with so little present. Maybe a bit nutty? With an MSRP of $7.50 it's in the wrong league. I find these everywhere for under $2 and that's about the right price.

"Gained personality"
After many humidor months, I cracked another one of these out. I tended to overlook them because of how mild they have been. This one was still mild, but I picked up far more nutty flavor than before, which set it apart from the basic smoothness of a 5 Vegas gold. The burn was also flawless in this reasonable priced VC smoke. Probably the best VC line by far.

"Nice smoke"
Well a buddy gave me this one to try and I liked it. It's a bit to mild for me though. It has no complexity at all. Just a few straight forward flavors. It's a little mutty and toasty. The construction was very good and the burtn also. It's a nice AM smoke with coffee.

"I CAN drive 55!"
This is a pretty cigar. It is not very complex, kind of a nice nutty flavor through the whole thing. Reminds me of a 5 Vegas gold series. Probably the easiest to find of the 55 series in my opinion. Or should I say easiest to afford? It is strange that the MSRP is so high on this when you can find these for less than 2 bucks a stick if you look around a bit. It is worth the look too!
