"Damn"
I wish they would roll a whole cigar. Half is good if you don't pay full price. Suffer through the first half it's worth it. I think the really good cigars I've smoked lately make these seem more ordinary than before.

"Second half: Great, First half: average"
Smoked this for the first time. Read ASHMAN below - he nailed it... the second half of this cigar is a million times better than the first half. First half had difficulty in draw, average taste... second half was good down to the nub, and great taste.

"Am I missing something?"
I picked up a five pack of these hoping for the best. These are very highly rated, but I found it rather one dimensional. It was full, but limited in its palate. There are better choices.

"Great premium."
Everything about this cigar screams "premium" including the flavor even though you have to wait for it. It starts very nice but leaves something wanted for the price. As you begin the second half you know why you came. The smooth creamy med-full flavor becomes delicious and satisfies your craving for a premium cigar. Since the Pepin Garcias I find it hard to find a Dominican tht can hold up but this one does. The second half and the perfect construction and burn is what qualifies this smoke as a true premum. Never pay more than $5 and enjoy.

"Not as good as the Robusto"
Though this cigar was very good, it seems that the robusto ends up with a better blend overall. Nice and medium bodied with a toasty and leathery start...just a touch of spice adds complexity. These are occasionally tangy in the middle and all of them turned pretty crummy at the band. I found no such issues with the robusto, buy those instead!

"great cigar"
I liked it. Very well made, a bit soft though, making the draw easier than I prefer. Burn started a little uneven, but quickly corrected itself. It was rich, creamy, medium bodied with hints of cedar. Got a little peppery as it went on, with more woodiness. Very thick, rich smoke, rather complex. Definitely a great cigar, a bit pricey though.

"Good if...."
If you get these at around $4 they are very good in the value column. $8 or more is ridiculous. Starts very bold and mellows to med-full around 2 inches in. It actually becomes a little more mellow toward the end. Try one for yourself.

"My Favorite Cigar"
This is hands down my favorite cigar. Yes, it is expensive, but if you enjoy a full, rich, dense smoke, this is the cigar for you. For such a powerful cigar, the burn and draw remain remarkabley smooth. I bought 5 of these plus a free TTT ashtray for $30, great deal!

"Decent"
I had very high expectations for this cigar going into smoking it. It started off well. Spices, very leathery, and nutty flavors, but with about half of the stick left, it began to become tarry. I could actually see the tar coming out of the head of the cigar, which immediately hindered the taste, becoming very bitter. Without the tar this would be a great smoke.

"Strong & Tasty!"
Aging has worked wonders on this smoke. Still too damn high but dependable. I can see $5 a throw considering what some people pay for a lot less, but not $8 or more. Be patient, find them cheaper and age them for a great smoke.

"very nice"
Recieved this one as a gift, was going to let it sit awhile, but just couldnt. Very nice looking stick, well constructed, even burn, smooth easy draw, not too strong, more medium bodied to me. Smoked this one to the nub I enjoyed it so much. Not an everyday smoke at this price, but a good one for the evenings. Gonna get a few of these and put some age on them.

"Wonderful Middle."
A handsome, seemingly well packed cigar that had a nice pre light aroma. Draw was a bit loose. Ash was loose and flakey. This is what probably caused the stick to smoke on the hot side and go out three times. Burn was a tad uneven but self correcting. First third flavor was spicy and a bit harsh. Middle third was creamy, delicious, and smooth with a hint of spice, coffee and earth. Last third was much like the first but harsher. Body was mostly full. This stick spent about 3 months in my box. I will let the other 3 sticks from the 4 pack age much more before firing. Value rating based upon $5 PP$. Nice flavor potential to these. I hope aging expands the "wonderful middle" closer to the ends.

"Age these!"
I got two of these in a sampler sometime ago. I've had one of these with about a month of aging and another after 9 months. The 9 month-aged was outstanding. A ton of spice, great burn and construction, no complaints whatsoever. The other one was mediocre. Age them for several months and you will not be dissapointed.

"Good smoke"
I found this one in a gift humidor that I recieved last christmas...That's a year of aging folks. I found these to have flavor great and not overpowering. It had a good draw and burned evenly. The flavor had a good earthy and slightly nutty flavor with hints of spice. It got really spicey toward the end but the middle was smooth. Good smoke I think I'll buy a couple to age again.

"Love 'em"
Not over hyped, just over priced. Very good smoke but, no way it's worth $9. Started with maximum peppery strength bordering on harsh. After 3/4" mellows nicely into a smooth med-full gar. Carry your torch DG cause if you tossed this one for a poor burn you missed a great smoke. Just too damn expensive. Some other very good smokes priced reasonably. I am very impressed with this cigar and wish I could afford to smoke them regularly. They exhibit the finest in flavors combined with better than average strength delivered smoothly during in the last 80%. Quit paying so much for the TTT and the price will come down.

"Going Downhill"
Liked these when they first came out. They did it right. Over the last couple years the construction is going downhill. I've had to pitch the last three, the last one went out the window on a long, lonely road in Arizona a couple days ago. Pisses me off to throw a ten dollar bill out he window. Hell with 'em. I'm done.

"Top notch"
This is a very well made medium to full bodied cigar. It never gets overpowering and the flavor smacks of cream and nuts. It has a great draw and the burn is even. Very nice feel and look. The only problem I have with this cigar is that I don't like paying $8 for a 6x50 toro which is why I grabbed a couple of these on sale at J&R for $4 each.

"Nice Nice Very Nice"
Picked up a 3 pack at JR while wandering around. Should have bought them all @ $ 8 a stick. A really good cigar. Firm, flavorful and spicey without getting overbearing. Ashed great, even with no runs. (got the 2 inch ash on my sweater) The wrapper is beautiful and holds up well to chomping. Found a place that sells em for under $ 8 a stick by the box ... happy days. At that price its pretty high on the bang for the buck scale.

"Excellent cigar, not just hype"
I had a difficult time purchasing a few of these cigars, as I felt that it would never live up to the hype. But, I was extremely surprised to say that it might just beat the hype.

I honestly feel that this is one of the finer cigars I have had in awhile.

Very classy look to the cigar, excellent burn, great but not overpowering flavor the entire length of the cigar. A bit pricey for alot of people, including myself, but definately one of my more "special" cigars now.
