"Test of time not met"
This is a perfect example of a trainer cigar that will not re-visit the humidor of a mature cigar smoker. Good price and easy to smoke, but lacks the complexity and/or smoothness that keeps you coming back. Nothing really wrong here, but too plain Jane to keep me interested.

"Where's the Beef?"
After having tried the Torpedo and Corona in this Tierra del Sol series, both in natural and maduro and finding them to at least have some merit, I found the Robusto to be a pretty poor excuse for a cigar.

Pretty to look at, well constructed, very consistant burn, and a nice draw, it would have made for a very good smoke had it had any flavor. Of course, as always when we run into a stick that's mild enough for a 10 year old, we always hold out hope that a few months in the humidor will perform some magic and turn the stick into a decent cigar, but in this case, it has a lot of work to do.

Why this particular shape is less flavorful than the others I've tried, I haven't a clue, but if want give this low end Perdomo a try, I would NOT recommend the Robusto Maduro. They look nice in the humi, but that's about as good as it gets.

"Second glance"
I was a bit hard on these the first time I tried them. Upon letting a few rest in my humidor, I have found that the burn has evened out and the flavors have flourished somewhat with age. Still not a great smoke, but it has moved into the realm of yard gar. Cheap prices and knowing to age them, may make these a bargain after all.

"Too mild for my taste"
Not a bad cigar, but definitely nothing to write home about. Great looking cigar, nice wrapper, almost no visible vanes at all, deep dark maduro color. Unfortunately the good part ends there. Not much of anything as far as flavor goes. For a second or two during each smoke, and I had 5 of them, there was a little hint of some good nutty flavor, but then it slipped back into the cut grass / cigarette esque nothingness. Maybe, and I mean a big maybe this might do for a beginner, but I’d still have to recommend something with at least a little flavor, otherwise, what’s the point.

"Cheap to buy cheaply made"
I have to agree with BCole on this one, with one exception, there WAS flavor, but it was not anything that you would want lingering in your mouth. I found a grass cutting flavor to last for as far as I was able to stand smoking this one. I can see why one would classify this one as "mild", but I found the word, "unsatisfying" to be more appropriate.

There are far better "mild" smokes out there. Keep looking.

"P$#% poor"
This was the most un-anything cigar I have ever had. No taste at all, noy even anything burning. I was very upset when thry came from CBID. If you aged these it would not help becasue "nothin' from nothin leaves nothin''
No even for beginners, just a poor blend!

"A Great Cigar"
After smoking a bundle of 20 cigars I have to say that this is a great cigar. I really like the taste of maduros but they often come on strong halfway through. I was really surprised how mild this cigar is. You can smoke this at anytime of the day. It has a nice pleasent finish and I have to be careful not to burn my figers because you can smoke this right down to the nub. I hope they do not disscontinue this brand it took me a long time to find a good deal.
