Thomas Hinds “Honduran” Robusto

I tried them but wouldn't buy.

Good even burn and nice flavor and aroma. Not the pretiest looking stick in my stash, but the smoke is what counts, expecially at the price.

Here's a brand you usually don't ever hear about, thought I'd try it...certainly tastes like a Honduran, has that moderately biting spiciness and woodiness to it that, well...tastes like a Honduran. Very, very similar to what you might find in a cigar stores' house blend or maybe a bundle. Better tasting than what you find in drugstores though, however this is the kind of cigar you smoke and pretty much just forget about. Just a little too much on the boring side.
Burn and construction are very good. Loose draw.
I would say try one if you're a Honduran fan and don't mind bundle cigar like taste.

Smoked 2003-03. Pale tawny and somewhat coarse wrapper. Good draw, though the filler leaf density is perhaps a touch too loose. Nice smattering of spices laid over an earthy and leathery base. Flavour leans to the dry side. The Cubans would probably describe this as a true proletariat's smoke - nothing offensive, nothing terribly exciting. Can't argue with the cost, however.

First rate presentation and good construction. Nice and fat with good medium tobacco flavor and a nice amount of spice. An excellent everyday smoke. A great value!
