Thomas Hinds “Honduran” Corona

This was a very well constructed cigar. The wrap was bold and strong, it burned very consistently without runs etc., and the ash was very good.
I found the taste to be on the strong side of mild with a flavourful aftertaste. I would not recommend smoking it down to thw bottom quarter since it gets rather strong.
This was a very affordable cigar and I will be looking at a small box of them for the humidor.

One of my friends gave me a couple of 5 these to try out. They are a small cigar, I smoked two of them after dinners. The Corona is not very special to look at just an average cigar, light shade wrapper. The construction was nothing special either, kind of look like they were just thrown together. The draw was pretty good throughout this cigar, and the burn was fair too. Not much flavor though, kind of blah, mild to medium bodied. The Corona did have a nice finish though. My friend told me he paid about $1.50 each for these from an internet cigar company. BOTTOM LINE: Light, quick, ok taste, too boring for me, I don’t think I will smoke any more of these.

I consider this to be one of the best of the Thomas Hinds line of cigars. Excellent construction and flavor. Medium in strength with lots of cedar, spice, and leather, with just enough pepper to give it that necessary kick. A bit loamy with a long finish this cigar is a definate winner. A tremendous value!

Medium to full bodied. Well constructed and inexpensive. Nice oily wrapper.
