"Great one"
Very impressed. Could not get enough. Starts out spicy and peppery with full body and flavor reminiscent of Cuban cigars. Nice kick on the vitamin N. Little tight on the draw on a few in the box but worth it. Best non cuban I have had.

"Small size - big flavor!"
I was quite impressed with my first Angeles. The flavor produced by it was phenomenal, burn and construction were great, and I was happy with the amount of smoke produced by it. Even my girlfriend who is not a huge cigar fan absolutely loved this cigar and requested me to purchase more of them.
That said, my second one wasn't quite as good as the first. A little weak in the flavor department and had some burn issues. Nevertheless, I am basing this review on the first one as it made quite an impression. I have a few more sitting in my humidor and am hoping that they turn out to be examples of the first, rather than the second.

"Big flavor little package"
Im impressed with this offering not being a huge fan of the nobles . this size does the blend justice with enough complexity to make you want another highly recommended.

The flavor that comes out of this small cigar is unreal.I lit this up not expecting too much and wow burst of pepper off the bat, the opened up to A good mix of creamy spice and cedar . very consistent to the nub although a little hot it build in body without getting tarry.

"best small cigar"
I have never had such a strong little cigar . with flavor ,spice ,bite and an underling cedar and creamy mid point that end it off with an inch left with the spice as is it was a 50 gauge camacho. best small cigar ive smoke and ive had a good bunch of small ones. must try.

"Best for the Price"
There is no better cigar for the $5 price range. Period. This cigar is better than the atomics, and the CAO Brazilias by a landslide. A little bit of Cuba in a Nicaraguan blend.

"What the ????"
I love Tatuaje, a lot. But what the hell? I've had problems with wrappers on three consecutive Angeles cigars. The taste of this cigar was great but why is the wrapper coming off of this cigar. I'm hoping I had bad luck with the three that I've had. I'm just very disappointed. Like I said, great taste, great appearance, I just want the wrapper to hold.

"Warning!"
I did review this only recently but had to submit another. There is something going on with these cigars. For months you could not find them, then they showed up again at a few BMs. I have smoked 4 since I found them and they have all been bad, very bad. Each one has been plugged so I tried drying one out a bit. Still plugged. The one I had tonight showed promise. Although the flavor was not what I know it could be it was very decent and reminiscent of the one I had a few weeks ago. Then, BAM! Stuck like a clogged toilet. The cigar actually swelled above the band and only when I rolled it in my fingers and put pressure on that area did it loosen a little. Not enough though. Still a bad cigar. Be very careful, there is obviously a quality control issue going on here. If you find them and they are the recent shipment, try only one but be warned.

"Small package...huge flavor"
I have always enjoyed the name...Tatuaje (ta-twa-hey). Tattoo in spanish...so it always had chic cache. I tried a few of the others in their Cabinet and Serie P lines...and they blew my head off. Then I saw the ratings on the Angeles and I had to try it. I love the Cohiba Siglo 3 and the Bolivar Petit Corona...so I know that this size can bring tremendous enjoyment. This was all that and then some...well made. Check. Complex, spicy flavor profile (but not over the top). Check. Smooth draw that gives me tons of billowy smoke clouds. Check. A great pair with my Monte Cristo 12 year Reserve Rum.

"beautiful"
A really beautiful small cigar. Smoked it until it burned my lips and it was outstanding all the way.Very good draw and burn, starting with pepper and going smooth and complex all the way with a touch of sweetness and full flavoured.

"Pretty good cigar"
Good, especially if you can find them at MSRP. The blend is strong without being too harsh and the construction is good.

"Phenomenal"
Well I finally found a B&M carrying these little beauties and it was worth the wait. What a spicy, tangy, chewy cigar. With a beautiful wrapper, strong light brown ash, and tons of thick sweet smoke I am sorry I only bought 2 of these. I must search for more. In either case, this is not for the newbies though it can teach a lesson in how complex, expertly blended and rolled a cigar can be. This little stick is spicy, tangy and sweet throughout. It smoked nice and slow and lasted an hour. Great for a Petite Corona. Get some!

"Good thing in small package"
One of the best cigars I've tasted this year. Few had draw problems but most were okay. Strong, flavorful, good value.

"I'll bring the salt,"
since this stick is filled with Pepper. You can taste it throughout this power house of small stature. It was rolled fairly tight, but loosened up for the last 1/3rd. My local b&m doesn't carry these, but I highly recommend for the price.

"Too Small, but otherwise great"
I look for value in cigars. I bought several singles of 5 Vegas Atomic, Cao Brazilia, Cao Black, Tatauje Noellas, & Rocky Patel 1992 Vintage. This cigar blows them out of the water. The only drawback is the size, and am wondering if the larger sizes have comporable flavor. Starts of strong, with notes of pepper (most likely the nicotine kick) and mellows as it smokes down. I had to light up another single. Hard time finding them though. I gave it a 9 for value since it is a small cigar.

"Suprisingly Outstanding"
One of the best I have ever smoked. A beautiful cigar and great price. Bought 3 boxes after trying the singles. Better than Cohiba Siglo's that I had.

"great one."
I've smoked 10 of these and now decided to review it. From the first to last, this cigar was consistant with leathery, earthy tones. The wrapper was of a nice dark color though the construction lacked a bit. The flavors make this cigar however, not the construction or look. It doesn't take a pro to appreciate this one, however, it does take an open mind to accept these as any other good brand cigar; some people just don't have one however. Found it odd that one might pick up some "coco flavors" for there was none. Check the cigar you're smoking, you might be smokng the wrong one. Don Pepin did a good job. If you like this cigar, try the Cabinet line, those I found to be even better.

"Excellent"
This is the best tasting non-Cuban cigar that I've had. I've been smoking these for a month now (purchased two boxes). Very peppery, spicy, full flavored cigar. No harshness whatsoever. They are better with a month or more of aging. After smoking about 8 of them, there are occasional draw issues with the first half, and definitely some uneven burn issues towards the end. The great flavor trumps these occasional downsides.

"It's everything a small cigar should be."
Second stick out of the box. This little guy had a beautiful, oily corojo wrapper and rich pre-light aroma. Draw was perfect, with tons of thick white smoke - at times it looked like somebody lit the fuse on a firecracker. Smacked of peppery spice on the lips at the beginning, and then a very intense, sweet/sour/rich flavor that came and went several times. It also hit my nose with a few great wasabi blasts! Extinguished itself after 45 minutes with about an inch left. As an added bonus, my family enjoyed the aroma of this cigar, which reminded my mother-in-law of "the cigars her grandfather used to smoke." Priceless!

"Updated Review"
I went back and purchased a few more of these cigars to give it another shot. I knew I must have gotten the 1 bad cigar out of the box. These next 3 smoked very consistently and well. The draw was still a bit tight but I guess that's how they're all rolled. I really love the dark, oily wrapper on this one. A definite 'best buy' among current cigars.

"What a shame"
I have been hearing great things from this brand. I decided to pick 2 of these up and burned one on my way to work this morning. I don't think this is representative to all of the Angeles but mine burned very poorly. Uneven wouldn't even be a good way of describing it. It was also rolled much too tight. What a shame. Hopefully my second one will redeem the first.

"Holy $h*% What A Cigar!"
I Smoked A Few Cubans Before But This Little Cigar Beats Them In Flavor Hands Down! I Aged This Cigar For 3 Months Bought 5 For $5.25 A Piece Well Worth It! The Construction Of These Cigars Are Great And The Appearance Looks Great Also. When I Lighted It The Aroma Was Nice And It Lighted Up Easy With No Problem. This Cigar Is Full Flavored And Not For The Beginner Smoker! Flavors I Noticed When I Smoked This Cigar Was Leather With Some Spice. Also Had Some Dried Cherries With Some Nuttyness To It But It Tasted Great! Then Burn Was Perfect And Never Burned Hot The Draw Was Real Nice And Effortless! This Cigar Must Be Bought If Seen Because These Cigars Are Hard To Find And They Go Like Hotcakes! I'm Buying A Box Online Now As We Speak I Waited Almost 2 Months For These To Get Back on Stock!

"good smoke"
This smoke started off for the first inch with a definate floral (almost perfume like) flavor, the floral notes waned a bit afterwards and the remaining smoke was a solid but nice tobacco flavor, I'd buy these but find them a bit pricey.

"Better than a few Cubans"
I find these better than a few Cuban PCs. Very rich. Beautiful wrapper, great construction. Earthy and spicy with hints of dried cherries. Very full bodied, and full strength.

"Quite a Punch!"
I was not ready for the strength of this smoke. It was not quite overwhelming, but it was a lot more than I expected! It was a very flavorful cigar and developed quite nicely as it was smoked. I can't recall the exact progression, but it was leathery and nutty at times and earthy and salty at others. There were some notes of dark, toasted bread too. I smoked it down to an inch and the flavors stayed great. It never got harsh or bitter. All in all, a very nice smoke. (Construction was perfect). If you like medium/full-flavored cigars with a pretty strong kick, (but not so much it makes you sick), this is a must-try. It’s twice as good as cigars twice it’s price, (cough<>cough).

"stumped some hard core smokers"
Had this one during a blind tasting at the local cigar club, and many were fooled into thinking it was either an Opus or cuban based on pre-lit construction alone. Taste started out very full-bodied, but I would agree with previous comments that it mellows quite a bit. I actually read that these are stuffed at the tip with a stronger leaf than the filler. Close to a perfect smoke, regardless...

"excellent"
This is another major winner from Don Pepin. All of his cigars are great but be warned, these are for people who like strong cigars. If you like that stingy punch up the nose this cigar does not dissapoint. Has a real strong spicy, woody and peppery smoke to it with some hints of just about everything else. Very similar to Pepin's other lines like the Vegas Cuabana and blue label. Also very similar to Isabella cigars. Burn and construction are alright but I did have to relight once.
My only complaint here is that the taste fades out fast. It could be because I tarred it up by smoking it too fast. However the first 15 minutes with this thing are some of the finest time you will ever spend with a cigar.
Overall a true classic smoke for those who like strong Nicaraguans.

"Tasty Little Firecracker"
I really enjoyed this short smoke. I have been gravitating toward this vitola smoke and once again it paid off.
This smoke started with a bang. The spice was potent through the nose, and didn't quit through the halfway point. The construction was good. The burn was a bit off and required a touchup, but in no way affected my enjoyment.
The flavors were licorice and pepper with a touch of leather and sweetnes thrown in for measure. I thought it was quite complex. I bought a fiver more based on the first hlf of this smoke. I recommend this smoke highly
