"Interesting"
Everyone I talked to talked very highly of this cigar. I finally got over to the cigar shop and lit one up. It was a decent cigar, but for some reason the smoke was rather harsh. The cigar was fine, but the smoke was really rough and made me cough a bit. The construction was great, but it had a rather difficult draw. I thought that was probably the major downside. I couldn't puff on it very well. For the price, it was a good buy.

"my kind of smoke"
i've smoked many of dpg's creations and have liked most of them, this being no exception. brauny flavors of leather, earth and red pepper. the pepper zing differentiates it from most nicaraguan puros...construction and appearance were great and the cigar had an ideal draw. considering the price, it's a great smoke, but not for the faint of heart.

"fuente who?"
I smoked this a a request of a freind of mine, weary about it. I only used to smoke the big brand cigars Fuentes, Cohibas Monte's. Well anyway I tried this one and I could beleive this new world of cigars I was neglecting. Fuentes are good but there seem to be a consistancy problem zIn my experience not to mention 1 dimension. this stick was packed full of spice of the bat and settle into a chocolatey cedar creamminess that went all the way toi the last third where the spice came back with a vengence with I enjoy. so from now on im looking closer at the boutique companies and running away from General Cigar and such there is a world of difference. reccomended smoke.

"underrated"
I think these are pretty compareable to the regios(brown label) I tried last week , of course less spice in the begining, has more of a dark creaminess I really enjoy . when I read black cherry about these I thought wtf? but I guess that was anoth nice flavor that opened up little past the mid way point . Only beef was an ungly .25 inch crack that took away from the apperence but not the flavor or great smoke.

"Nice cigar..."
Perfect DPG triple cap. A little bit of a crooked burn keeps it from perfect construction. Took about an inch to warm up, but developed a nice woody flavor. Spice, but not as much as other Tats. Hints of leather and very light cocoa, develop halfway in. Very complex flavor profile.

"One of the best $6 dollar cigars out there..."
I just sparked up the Havana VI shortly after a Sunday brunch. I had a nice room temp shot of Hornitos tequila and a lime prior to lighting this bad boy up.

Pre light draw was edgy and peppery, my tongue was numb after a minute or two of it sitting in my mouth on the way home. The exterior was exquisite. Short, fat, and medium in color with a very nice sheen.

I noticed immediately that it was not so much the kick in the teeth that many of the other Tatuajes had been. It was extremely flavorful, but not as peppery as I expected. Very soft accents of chocolate but shortly became rather tangy. I complimented this unusually tart cigar with a nice cool glass of grapefruit juice which was heavenly.

Another thing I have to note, is that mine, humi'd for a month or so at 72% was completely problem free from 1st light to nub. I found myself sliding the band down in anticipation of it's finish. It was mildly peppery, with a tangy notes throughout. Very consistent flavor.

I only ashed this cigar once, and knocked a roughly 2 1/2" white block right off into the tray.

I absolutely love this stogue. I can't say anything more than that. I'd buy a box if my shop had one right now.

"pepin virgin"
this was my first pepin and i was a bit concerned wondering if i could handle but let me just say that this will definitely not be my last pepin. wow now i can see what everyone is ranting and ravin about. never had a cigar like this, never tasted anything like this - though i am a reborn cigar smoker not been smokin for about 8 years now- this is something totally new for me. awesome flavor awsome aroma just awsome!!! BUT the construction - im not too concerned that much about burn issues whoa but this guy needed help on numerous occasions, but hey, with the kind of awsome flavors i was getting eh the first time is always going to be a little rough

"i hear what you are saying"
Have smoked two w/ at least 3 months age in the humi. BOTH had burn problems that required continuous touchups. The aroma and flavor were both medium but in a good way.

"great, but w/construction issues"
After smoking about a dozen of these since my initial review, I'm a little less enthusiastic about the Nobles. My beef is entirely with the construction. Even stored at 63%, about half of these draw more firmly than I'd like. None are plugged, but many require some effort and touchups to the burn. Flavors are still top shelf, and refreshingly different from other Pepin fare. Still among my favorites on flavor alone, but with a noteworthy flaw.

"Not bad, based on suggestion"
Picked this one for an after dinner smoke based on the suggestion of the tobacconist. Great pre-light aroma, construction was solid. Burned extremely well and even, draw was a bit tight, but nothing to truly complain about. Started off with cocoa hints of flavor, turned to some coffee notes, then smoothed out to a pretty flat creaminess. A mild - entry level mid body flavor. Produced ample smoke, but not as much as my fav. Padron 64's. Price was right, wouldn't mind one of these again. Not a bad choice.

"Not the greatest"
It was pretty run of the mill for me. The draw and construction were right on point. The taste and complexity lacked a certain umph. Maybe i'll try the cabinet series next time.

"Nice mix of flavors, but pricey"
An exceptionally looking stick with a dark oily corojo wrapper. The bunching is solid and uniform. The cigar wears a simple red thin band sporting the Tatuaje name.

Prelight aroma is subtle and nondiscript. Initial draw provides a predominate woody flavor with a floral undertone. The finish has some subtle spice. This is not a powerhouse like other Pepin blends, but subtle and varied. The finish is sweet and lingering and I really like the subtle floral notes.

The draw is good and the cigar produces a nice amount of smoke. There is a chocolatety cocoa like scent in the aroma, subtle and enjoyable.

The burn is slightly uneven, but not distracting. The cigar produces a nice solid dark gray ash.

Past the mid point, the flavor stayed pretty much one dimensional but picked up a slight cedar note.

This is a medium bodied, mild-medium smoke with subtle hints of spice and a woody cedar flavor with a floral undertone. The nicest mild cigar I’ve had in a long time, but is it worth the price?

"nice encore"
what pleasant surprise! i was hesitant going in, its hard to take a gem like the Tatuaje Cabinet line and add a downscaled model, but this was nailed. Very oily in appearance, always 3 beautiful caps from Pepins crew, and unique with its tea-like spice

"Solid"
The roll on this robusto is rock solid. I sheared off the triple-cap and found the draw to be kind of tight, a little tougher than I like. But it drew well with a nice volume of smoke. The first third is rather sharp tasting. The smoke is fairly light in body, but very flavorful with lots of black pepper and some wood underneath. The wrapper flavor is not as bold as I anticipated — there’s some of the sweet and bready flavors I expect from Pepin’s corojo 99, but it isn’t as pronounced as I expected. The firm roll results in a slow burn and a solid light gray ash. The second third gets a bit stronger and the peppery taste gives way to a lighter flavor. It’s still tangy though, something along the lines of ginger maybe, with a moderate finish. The last bit becomes smoother and takes on some cocoa flavor. A very nice finale.

"red label robusto"
A dark cigar with a great aroma. Firm draw, but still gives off enough smoke. Smacks of wood at first. After an inch or so some nice ginger bread flavors jump out. A woody finish from start to end. Not an oily cigar, but I think it will age very well. Medium to full bodied. Great price. Well worth trying.

"Buy!"
To my palate, this is the best of what's out there right now. At $6-7, it might be pricey for an everyday smoke, but these may be worth getting a second job for. I've been regularly choosing this one over $10 D4s, VR Famosos, and Upmanns lying in the humidor, so I give it a perfect mark for Value. The appearance is less polished that the other Tatuaje lines, but I prefer the Havana VI in every other aspect. I could prattle on about the flavor, but just think semi-sweet chocolate. To the degree that it reminds me of another smoke, it's an old-school La Luna Maduro (mid/late 90s, pre-Fuerte and LHB lines) minus the chronic draw issues. More rich than strong, with an easy draw and chewy smoke. I'm hoarding these. End of story.
