"A winner from Macanudo, definitely so w/ age."
I do realize that these are pre-release from a brand new line. The fist third was a little rough, very strong notes of coffee and tobacco. Smoke is medium thickness and light greyish white. The wrapper is beautiful and could possibly have color addes. Nonetheless, a very pretty cigar. The burn started a little crappy, but the foot was a little smooshed down in RG. One third gone and the burn has evened out. Strength of flavors has settles down a bit and it is now smooth and lots of coffee, maybe a little chocolate. Some flavor present that may thankfully diminish with age. Burn is now very good. The final third is more tobacco but some coffee. It is not getting too hot, either. Burn continues to be first tier., and the ash is a little darker. Overall, a good smoke. Good strength and it is definitely medium-full bodied. I will be buying more of the samplers to get them while they're cheap!! $2.84 for a Churchill Macanudo is great! This isn't the Macanudo of yesterday..
