"Great cigar to start of with"
Macanudo's make some excellent cigars for starter. You don't want to scare them away with rich, bold flavor and this cigar fits real well for such circumstances. Pricey though.

"No flavor"
A very mild cigar. the smoke tasted weird. Great presentation, but it made me expect a lot more. I always liked these cigars when I first got into cigars and this cigar leaves me asking myself "why?" I wouldn't buy this cigar again and at the $7 price tag I got it for Im a little upset with myself. Burn was fine, but I only smoked until the first ash fell and then threw it into the river.

"Mild is putting it mildly..."
I admit that I have a preference for stronger cigars and am thus biased. Nonetheless I do like some mild cigars. I have somewhat enjoyed Dominican Romeo Y Julieta, Creme De Jamaica, Temple Hall etc. I can even remember being moderately pleased with the old Jamaican Macanudoes. But this cigar was ridiculously mild. It had almost no flavour. There were perhaps slight grassy and incense notes. It left an odd sour residue on my lips. Living up to its reputation, the construction and burn was flawless. The tubo presentation was pretty. I wanted it to be creamy, buttery, nutty...anything. Smoke was there. I could see it. It was smoke. But it didn't taste like smoke. It tasted like air. Maybe I had a dud. Apologies in advance to the hardcore Macanudo guys.

"Definitely a MAC"
What can you say....it lives up to the Macanudo name. Ask any newbie cigar smoker and they've heard of it. Smooth burning and tasting throughout the whole cigar. Perfect for those relaxing occasions. B+

"mmmmmmmmm"
Great smoke, from beginning to end. A touch on the mild side with no hint of harshness. Good draw even with a tight construction. Will definately keep some of these in humi.

"Light to Medium body"
Cigar had a nice draw and even burn. Flavor on the mild side and went very well with a beer. Both seemed to compliment each other.

"Best Mac"
This was the best Macanudo I have ever smoked and will smoke may more. It had great burn a SMOOTH pull and there is nothing wrong with being a bit on the light side. Smoke it with a John Courage and all will be well in the world.

"Solid Smoke"
A great cigar for mild to medium tastes. I enjoy maduro as a rule, but found this to be a flavorful and enjoyable smoke from start to finish.

"Very good"
A clean taste that was very creamy. Consistant from stick to stick, as with most Macs. Very nice draw and nutty with a sweet hint in the end

"Bad Roller!"
I like medium to full cigars but a Mac is always a nice mild smoke. Bought a 5 pack of the tudor gold and everyone was not smokeable. Draw was way too tight, oh well!

"Renewed Faith"
Been a long time since I've had a Mac, and this cigar has restored my faith in the brand. Mild and light it went well with my pale ale. Slight, sweet, nutty taste. Smooth and cool finish.
