"nice little firecracker"
the pre-light aroma from this baby was akin to something my dog leaves behind on our walks ... so I was concerned, to say the least. But after lighting this cigar up, I was pleasantly surprised by a clean flavored maduro with no ashy undertones. It was really a pleasant surprise. And, the construction was great ... this small cigar lasted a surprising 45 min. while I did some grilling outside. So, if you don't smell it before you smoke it and don't mind a small cigar, this is a defintely good cigar!

"Hard to Beat"
What a great little cigar! For the size you won't find any stick with more maduro flavor or with a near perfect burn. This maduro is sweet with strong hints of chocolate and yes, burnt marshmellow. It's hard to believe, but after smoking 8-10 of these babies, I don't think some of the other larger 5 Vegas Series A cigars have as much flavor!

"Series A is a real winner"
Good looks, construction, draw, burn and flavor in a small package. The Alpha and Atomic are still my favorites, but when you're looking for a quick smoke these are a great choice.

"Excellent"
Based on the high scores these guys are getting, I picked up a box. This little guy passes all tests. Good construction/burn, looks good etc. Flavor is a combo of startling pepper with an underlying creaminess. Great cigar!

"and I was so sure these would improve..."
I've had these for a year now and they've changed little. For the technically curious, I've kept them in all their original packaging -- box, cedar sleeve, and cello. They're fine for a small smoke, but that's about it. Starts with a decent kick, but fades quickly. Like almost all vitolas in the "A" line, these are plagued by a short finish. Pleasant flavor, but it dissipates almost instantly on the palate. I had this one with a cup of medium roast coffee and some chocolates, and the smoke stood up to neither. Nothing to hate here, but I just find them to be a tease. There are better small format sticks (Camacho H3s), tastier maduros (too many to list), and better values (again, too many to list).

"Little Cigar/ Big Taste"
Wow! This little guy packs a big taste. The only shame was that it was over so fast. Lots of Maduro type tastes here including rich cocoa, chocolate even slightly burnt marshmallows (kinda). It really made me want a bigger version so I order a five pack of the Alpha. Can't wait.

"improving"
A more even performance than four months ago, when it fizzled quickly after a good start. These things burn really slowly. If you wanted to nub it, you could easily invest 45 minutes. Still one-dimensional, and will probably remain that way, but it's a fun little smoke.

"My Re-rate of a great cigar"
Found one of these buried in my humi, and decided to smoke it. Its been aging in there for at least 5 months so I didn't know what to expect. The cigar has a VERY dark wrapper, which I tend to enjoy. Had some noticeable veins in the wrapper but not the worst ive seen out there by far. The amount of flavor the A series delivers for the amount these cigars go for just amazes me. I cant say enough about it. NOTE These are more on the medium-full side so don't try em unless you enjoy that. Now AGING these made them even better!!! The slight bitterness I remember is totally gone, and your left with a great balanced smoke. Again, the flavor is fantastic. Im looking into adding a box or two to my humi as soon as I can, thats how much I enjoy the A series. The only problem, a lot of people are starting to know how good these are, and its getting hard to find really good deals for these on C-bid! lol

"A satisfying small smoke"
As they say, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight..." This little one has surprising kick. Complex at the start, settles down after an inch. A little charry, with hints of dark chocolate and coffee. Finish is a bit short. And it gets one-dimensional after the dazzling start, but that's typical for a small gauge. All in all, a very good smoke.

"Not an anomaly to rich flavor"
Incredibly consistent, I've been hooked on the 5 Vegas line for a while, Serie A has become my favorite for it's rich, spicy flavor. Got a box of these a while back and I can't seem to stop smoking them. Great smoke for when you don't have alot of time on your hands, but want to smoke something good that you know is not going to need a relight. When I light one of these up I'm going to enjoy the same great flavor, draw and burn I've come to expect from these little guys.

"Where did that come from?"
Wow, these lil babies pack a punch. Lots of flavor crammed into such a small package. Spice as soon as I lit it. Mellowed a tad but not much. So much flavor I had to stop and ask, where did that come from? I have to say I was fairly surprised by it. Burn was nice and even and the draw was great. A ton of flavor for a cigar i paid less then $2 a stick on CB! If you like a strong cigar, give em a shot.

"Big little cigar"
Big flavor in a small cigar. Excellent consistency in construction, draw and flavor just like it's larger brothers, but great for an everyday smoke, or a quick second smoke if a friend is still working on his first.

"Firecracker"
There's a whole lot of nose-tingling spice in this little corona. It starts up fairly mellow with a rich full flavor– Costa Rican maduro is tough to beat — but soon the spice takes over and really makes a move. It does get a bit harsh toward the end and it has a fairly short finish at 25 minutes into the smoke. But at this point I must say I was thoroughly satisfied. Good construction and a great price at less than 3 USD makes this a must try. Maduro fans take note!

"yeah baby!"
I bought a box of these on blind faith. Man am I pleased. The Anomaly is a well constructed and very flavorful smoke. The perfect size for the winter and any time you want a quick smoke (30 min). Bargain priced at about 2.50 a stick.
