"great again"
I love ashton in general and the vsg in particular...i have tried most of the different sizes of this cigar all are outstanding. no companies makes a better cigar than ashton in terms of construction and consistency some are as good but none are better in my book.. and the vsg is a great value for me its not cheap per se but for its quality and taste and strength its an elite cigar at a great price.

"I love em"
Call me crazy or nuts of whatever, but I just love VSG's. And this one is no different than the rest of em cept it's bigger and last longer, so there's more to enjoy. heheeeee. Well now down to the smoke. Construction is excellent as is most all Fuente cigars. The burn was perfect with a long holding ash. I like my VSA's at about 64% humidity, no burn problems that was, expecially with thick wrappers. The flavor is ticket here, a little bit spice and sweet, but very creamy and smooth. Lots of complex flavors that come and go in this beauty. OK enough of this now I want another one. I just can't afford it. Bummer.

"Wonderful flavors, and quite potent"
Very delicious spice and a bit sweet. Most beautiful ash I have ever seen. Almost white contrasting with the dark brown wrapper. Very strong for me, but that made me like it all that much more.

"Another Decent VSG"
Who comes up with these names "Tres Mystique", "Enchantment" and now the "WIZARD." Well, whatever you want to call them, one thing is certain, they are pretty decent across the board. This offering feels great in the hand. Lit up fine, started a bit tight on the draw, but opened up nicely. Developed a small burn problem within the first inch and a half but I was able to touch up quickly. Very smooth and creamy, a little more spice and char notes than other VSG's I have smoked. In fact I was surprised that it was not more potent and full of flavor, especially like the Tres Mystique. Overall a pretty nice smoke, very pricey, and hard to come by.

"what a beauty"
This cigar was sitting in my humidor for 6 months, not too long. But it really smoothed out and was packed full of the taste. Had extremely complex qualities. Definitely in my top 10 favorites.

"Very nice but a little over priced."
Never seem to go wrong with the VSG line, the Wizard is very similiar in taste to the Spellbound. Lots of smoke and very complex flavors, just think it's a little overpriced. I would highly recommend if they were $8-$10 instead of $12-$14.

"Best Ashton VSG"
My buddy Dan is a diehard VSG smoker and gave me this and a few other super-premiums for Xmas. Full bodied and complex. Construction was perfect. I highly recommend this stick.

"Nothing special considering price"
Nice cigar - medium to full bodied with excellent draw. Despite this, at $12 or more per cigar, I cannot get real excited about running out to pay that for these. Why not buy a Montecristo No. 2 from an ISOM for $9 or a Bolivar Royal Corona for $6.50. This VSG was not any better than either of these, and honestly for $5 or so each, if you aged a Montesino Aged Cabinet Belicoso for awhile these VSG's are not worth $7 bucks each stick more than those, to me.. (Yes, they are a little stronger, tho.) Heck these are more expensive than ISOM Partagas Luisitanias or Hoyo DC's... This was a fine cigar, albeit expensive and with no changing flavors at all during the smoke, which is something that I enjoy.

"There are better VSGs"
This cigar was not at all what I was looking for in a VSG. Not nearly as complex as other sizes in this line. Did give off billows of smoke when it would stay lit. Other than that...blah

"The best NC"
This is the best nc out there, period. Beautiful in appearance, lots of smoke and flavor. Very smooth for a powerful cigar. If you find them in your local shop, buy as many as you can, because they are rarely in stock. Great right out of the box, because they are aged before going out to the stores, but if you have both the stock and the discipline, stash a few away for a year and you won't believe the results.

"Thirteen Dollars!"
This is one of the easiest cigars to describe -- YUCK!

There are too many good cigars out there that we don't need to waste valuable cigar time on ones like these.

"Excellent smoke"
First of all this is by far the hardest of the VSG lineup to find. I was in LA last weekend and found a shop that had some, and I had to buy a few. I have to say that the Robusto may still be my favorite of the VSG's but this is a very close second. Tons of smoke, excellent flavors, many transitions in the complexity, and a killer finish. Plus the fact that you get well over an hour of smoke is hard to beat. Buy them if you can, you won't be disappointed.

"Must try this one"
What an experience. Almost an hour and 45 minutes of pure pleasure. Easy, smooth draw, perfect burn, started good and got better and stayed there. This smoke is a must try in my mind. I can't remember anything this size that was so enjoyable from end to end. Wish I could find more. Very hard to get, but well worth the trouble.
