"Not my favorite size in the line..."
A fine and tasty smoke with burn problems, which I suppose is to be expected given the unusual shape of this cigar. The flavor was quite nice -- cedar with a little sweetness and that VSG zing -- but nursing the burn was a nuisance. I'll be opting for the parejos in the future.

"Tied with the tres mystic for my favorite"
As I said withthe tres mystic this is a fabulous cigar. I think the shape of this one brings out a little more of the exotic spice I like so much, although it is more prone to burn problems. Almost worth the price. Yummmm

"Interesting Shape...pleasurable smoke"
I liked this cigar lot. Wonderfully constructed, peppery up front and then it evens off and has a more toasty and woody taste to it.

"VSG Enchantment"
This one is not at all like a normal VSG. Even the wrapper looks different. Not as full bodied with more of a papery and mild leather flavors. Didn't like this one at all.

"Another Great VSG"
I might never get used to perfectos. The first few puffs always taste like wrapper. After that, the cigar was fantastic, It had tons of smoke and it packed a punch that I was not expecting....many cedar overtones. A wonderful way to spend a memorial day weekend.

"Not the best VSG"
I have had the opportunity in smoking a few of the VSG's from the line up. This one was not one of my favorites. Started of a bit harsh, draw was decent, produced alot of heavy smoke, but flavor was not as noticeable as compared to say the Wizard or Tres Mystique. A little more peppery than usual. The middle was smoother and leathery, but the last third was not what I expected going back to the spice note and some bitterness. Too expensive for what it really is.

"Great start"
Excellent blend of medium bodied goodness. Nice tastes of spice, cedar, mild leather and cream. Burn required a few touch ups in the beginning even after 5 months in the humi. Then draw was great with tons of smoke. Second third was mild and last third became harsh. Overall a decent smoke.

"Very Nice"
A cigar with a wonderful appearance, medium bodied that remains thrughout. For my palet a creamy cigar with taste of nuts and spice, I'll have to find space in my humi for more.

"One good smoke"
Paid 12.50 for this little figurado, after reading reviews on it at various sites I decided to give it a try... The first two or three puffs were dull and harsh then it turned smooth and creamy cigar with taste of spices, nuts and maybe even some dried fruit. Wow what a great cigar alot better than every other ashton I've ever had, this cigar was complex, smooth, rich, and moderately strong. The only problem is the price tag, the average paid price at the top says 22$ I wouldn't have tried this cigar for that price, the 12.50 I paid seemed a little high, so I'll probrably only smoke these occasionally.

"You pay for the craftsmanship..."
A very interesting cigar. Despite the fact that I haven't been impressed with the VSG line in the past, I couldn't pass this one up when I was looking for a short afternoon smoke. While the flavor still didn't blow me away, I was very impressed with the craftsmanship. The draw and burn on this cigar were both very impressive. The flavor was very refined, but not particularly lively. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience, but one I will not be repeating at $12.50 a pop.

Beautiful shape and appearance. Full bodied. Burned evenly. Loads of creamy smoke. A bit pricey at $11.25 but worth it.

"not bad..."
but not good enough to warrant the price. Started slowly then spiced up nicely until about 1/2 way, where it became a bit bitter and I tossed it. Well made with a good burn, I had aged it in my humi for about 3 yrs.

"Excellent but expensive, even for an Ashton"
This short, fat, and unusually shaped perfecto has the characteristic streaky and rugged VSG wrapper. While it burns a bit unevenly, it has an excellent draw producing thick clouds of smoke with a heavy aroma. After a strong and spicy start, it's balanced by coffee, earthy, and dark cherry flavors; very tasty and smooth, and the large ring keeps any harshness to a minimum, even towards the end. Although it smokes longer than expected, it's still rather expensive for its size, even for an Ashton, and getting a Sorcerer or a Spellbound would be a better value. I assume it's harder to roll this shape, hence the high price; that's too bad because I would smoke these all the time if they were cheaper.

"Cool little smoke"
What a good cigar. This little bat hits some pretty high marks in the cigar world. The price almost matches the experience, but could come down a couple of bucks. Good pepper and smooth flavor throughout with a consistent taste that keeps you interested. It's not an everyday cigar, just one for breaking the habit of everyday cigars. I need more depth of flavor for an everday smoke - like a Camacho. Try this one on occasion though, it's worth the money.

another spicey stick from ashton, and at a 60 rings this one really packs a punch. I love these ashtons and this one is no exception.

"Favorite Cigar, Hands Down"
Cigar is nice and strong, but not too harsh. It's the best finishing cigar I've ever smoked. Top notch from start to finish. Bought a box and couldn't be happier. A bit pricy but well worth it.

"Jump down, turn around......"
Pick up a box of ASHTON! This was a pleasant suprise that might be an alternative, albeit a more expensive one, to my AF short story. Fun, short smoke that has nice flavors. Strong on the spice without being annoying. The wrapper really does balance out the smoke. Good draw, burn, and contruction.

"quite good"
Dark, oily wrapper. Started out a little harsh, though it smoothed out quite quickly (and retained it's power). Taste was pepper.wood.cream. Complex with deep dimensions. Full bodied but I wouldn't classify it with an OpusX or some Cubans in terms of strength. Dissapointing at the end as it picked up some metallic notes. Burn went cockeyed on me a few times, but touched up nice.. draw was very good. A little pricey, but I paid nothing near the average price listed here.

"I want to boogie with this cigar"
This one of the finest short smokes out there. It's better than the Hemingway Fuente Short story and has a better, different taste. Even though it's expensive, it's worth it at least once.

"Unique"
Unique in apperance, Unique in construction, but not in taste. VSG's are a breed apart and the enchantment shares all the cedary, woodsy, spicy, and delicious tastes of its larger siblings

"Great taste!"
This a a great tasting cigar. A little fruit, spice, and cream make it great until the end. I've run into a few duds, but overall the cigar is great. You need to try it. Oh, make sure you've eaten something before you smoke it. It can be a head spinner.

"Enchanted"
What a great cigar! It starts off a little rough uneven but straightens out and is full of flavor that gets your taste buds jumping. I've burnt a few fingers because the creamy and woodish taste lasts right to the end. It's too bad that they price keeps going up and are hard to get ahold of. I'd fill my humidor with them!!

"Best of the Ashton VSG"
Had smoked all the Ashton VSG and did not care for any of them. Then someone gave me an Enchantment. WOW!! I bought a couple more singles to make sure and then bought a box of them. Great taste, burn, and construction. Draw was great. Plenty of smoke

"Very Nice"
Full bodied cigar. Dark brown wrapper and oily, A very easy draw and burned even and slow, this cigar lasted close to an hour. The construction was excellent possibly a bit loose but still nice. A creamy taste the taste kicked in right away. A complex cigar with a number of tasted started out a bit woody, then tasted nuts and some pepper, a very nice finish. Overall a great cigar

"Tasty but pricey"
It's a strong rich little smoke and with looks to match...dark oily wrapper. It smooths out more with some additional aging. I found the contruction to be excellent but not the value considering they are harder to find then the Hemi SS's. I'll stick with the SS's, but certainly deserving of any humidor 'portfolio'. An above avg smoke for those who enjoy a little kick.

"Nice, but flawed"
This is a beautiful fat-footed perfecto with a dark brown, oily wrapper. It feels a bit spongy at the foot but much firmer at the head. Despite the nipple foot, it struggles with the burn at first and burns unevenly throughout. At the end, it side-burned to one inch left on one side and nearly two inches left of wraper on the other. One torching in mid-smoke evened it out briefly. This had been in a 65% RH humidor for several weeks, but inside an unseald plastic baggie. Perhaps the wrapper was still wet, but that doesn't explain why it burned unevenly. As for the flavor, it began as a full frontal assault powerhouse, mellowed out and became amazingly tasty and complex. Despite the burn problems, I bought three more today to enjoy after at least six months in the 'dor.

"Didn't seem to live up..."
At least didn't seem to live up to the rest of the VSG line. Much like a Short Story, the usual "twang" of a VSG was missing. Still a above average cigar.

"Pricy for the size"
It was a tasty little cigar and excellent construction. I thought it a bit pricy for the size, but it was an enjoyable short smoke.
