"i've had better...much better"
the cigar had an even burn, the draw produced a good amount of smoke, but this cigar was downright not worth your money. the taste was absent. i did learn one thing though which helped me get through this smoke. if you have a stick of orbit gum it makes the flavor come out to a good 8.75 which is much better than the 3 im going to give this thing. Not worth you money. Gentlemen's CLub Members please don't buy this smoke, unless you have a pack of orbit to go along with it.

"disappointing"
The words "Avo Maduro" made me drool with anticipation at a local B&M, but as others pointed out, this is a disappointing cigar. Rough burn, boring , and flavorless. Yes it's mild, but mild doesn't have to be boring. Two thumbs down on this one.

"Pretty Dam* Good"
I seem to be in the minority on this cig. A bit harsher than the non Maduro #2. Still, a good smooth cigar. Hey, send me your leftovers!

"Very disappointed"
Harsh but bland and awful tasting. Yes, I had a second one that was just as bad. This is my last AVO Maduro.

Very bland, a bit harsh. Doesn't really have any maduro sweetness.

"Just OK"
I agree with the other reviews suggesting this is OK, mild somewhat zzzz taste. I had burn problems throughout, requiring spit and several gos with a lighter.

"I've had better."
It was an ook smoke, I agree with the toasty flavors. The wrapper was very rough and it didn't stay lit. It had an ammonia odor on the foot when I received it and it had to age awhile in my humidor before I could smoke it.

"Not Great"
Nice looking cigar, the wrapper was dry and had a rough texture. Burned nice with a toasty flavor, but very simple and straightforward. More on the mild side than medium bodied. Certainly a lot of better maduro cigars out there in this price range and cheaper, like the Partagas Black Magnifico, Punch Chateau #7 Maduro, etc.

"A big letdown"
I agree with DG. I was expecting something better, and I had heard that this was an excellent one. But it was very bitter, and charring.

"A great mild cigar"
This is a very nice mild cigar. Not quite Macanudo mild, but mild nonetheless. You can always rely on AVO to produce a cigar with excellent construction, and these are no exception. Great draw and burn. Flavor is quite nice, but not for those looking for a punchy smoke.

"Dark and spicy"
Very well rolled with an oscuro wrapper peppered with tooth. Lit and burned easily and had a bit of harshness at first. Sweet peppery flavor with a cardamom tingle.

"Nothing to write home about"
Someone recommended I try this cigar; it was supposed to be really good. I would say it is ok. I have had much worse and many better. At $6, the price was the only aspect I would brag about; although I have had much better $6 sticks( See Punch Grand Cru review).

"Disappointed"
Was hoping for more but found this cigar to be dry and harsh for my taste. If you lean towards Padron 64, Bucanero El Capitan in maduro this one probably won't do it for you
