Camacho Liberty 2003

thought I would burn one on my bachelore party. got through 1/2 waiting for something profound to happen. Through it out and lit a Anejo #77. Used the cute little box for kindling. Would not smoke again.

The 06 version has a pleasing tang to it. Starts out full bodied and woody, becomes stronger with a unique taste until just past the bulbous middle, then loses the tang and stays woody. Long finish.

the cigar i had was the Liberty 11/18 which is i think the '05 version of this with pre-embargo cuban tobacco this was the closest category i could find.

nothing great certainly not worth the money $15 i dont mind paying that but when i could be smoking a padron 64 its like this is not even close

got it about right. It's actually a good cigar - just not worth $15 a stick. These age really well and plume is incredible. There is something to this baby that made me put some in my humidor: taste. This cigar has a unique taste unlike any other I have ever tried. It is absolutely delicious, just not real strong and it only develops at the hump. I don't know how much Cuban is in this blend, but if that's the flavor - i want more Cubans because the flavor is unbelievable. I want a cigar that tastes like that all the way through. I am now on a Cuban quest to discover the truth. To be continued...

I expected a deep earthy straight tobacco taste as with the corojos. This one lacked body and cannot hold interest. Odd shape

Hot tongue burning acidity, never settles down. There are times when I finish a cigar that I am left with some doubt as to how I really felt about a stick, "No Doubt here"...One to forget.

I really enjoyed this one. A lot! The construction was great, as were the burn and draw. The flavors were quite complex and always present, no harshness anywhere. This was a very smooth cigar, extremely enjoyable. I'd buy many more of these if it weren't for the price.

I want to say these taste young, but how could they with 1961 tobacco? My guess is that the other tobaccos are undoubtedly the lion's share, and they need considerable aging. My guess is that once these settle down, they'll be impressive.

AN OK CIGAR BUT NOT NEARLY WORTH THE MSRP

All the rave about this special stick from Camacho is nothing but market hype. The taste of this monster was foul, almost like stagnate air. Nice eye candy, nasty smoke.

Save your money and get something else!
