"Runners"
I have had at least a half dozen or more of these, and 50% of them have draw?burn problems that are more than minor. Taste is the usual top notch Camacho corojo experience. Stick with their non-shaped offerings.

"Have your lighter ready..."
Everything about the appearance of this huge cigar is eye-cathcing, from its curvy shape to the nice wrapper to the tissue paper and foil packaging. However, the construction is problematic: it has a loose draw and an inconsistent burn that needs plenty of relighting. I would attribute these problems to the unusual shape, but I've had similar problems with other Camachos that I've tried. Flavorwise, it's very peppery at the start, but turns into a smooth and balanced smoke filled with wood, nuts and coffee with an underlying spicy sweetness. A significant buzz does sneak up on you. It's a decent value as there's plenty of cigar, but I wish it could have performed better. No. 18 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of 2005.

"nice"
Hints of grass and egg...almost like blood (strange, I know, but smoke it and you'll know what I mean). The flavour was strong and consistent. The burn was a little annoying, necessarily including frequent correcting. After every few puffs the smoke will get really thick, and then it will calm down far too much. The buzz off of this cigar begins to show itself around 5/8 of the way through. Once you've finished, the buzz has morphed into a full blown high, causing you to wonder if there is something besides corojo in its beautiful wrapper.

"A real teaser..."
I have had these before but have never offered a review. This one tonight was constructed well and lit easily giving me an anticipation of a nice evening smoke. It was soon apparent that the beginning was just a tease. The draw was very tight and smoke amost non-existent. However just when I was about to pitch it and reach for another cigar it seemed to offer a hint of an easier draw and smoke better. After a few more puffs it returned to back to a harder draw/less smoke. This would go on for the better part of an hour and each time I was about to give up it would provide a teasing of what it was about. About 3/4s of the way thru the cigar my tongue began to go numb hinting of the power of the cigar lurking under the surface. All in all it was like watching a strip tease know what it could turn out to be but never quite giving you a full show.

"Another fine cigar"
Yes Camacho did it again. I enjoyed this alot, however I didn't find it a stron as the diploma, maybe because of the larger ring gauge. However this is a very good smoke. Burned evenely, very well construced. Overall a very good cigar, again just try getting them out of the box
