Camacho Select Lonsdale

Great construction and value here. Very good taste, an d highly recommended. Been smoking more and more Lonsdales and Lanceros, this is one of the better ones.

I think that the lonsdale is the size to go with for this blend. I think I agree with other reviewers that it is more complex than the other sizes. I liked the draw better as well. It was more firm and smooth. The churchill and the robusto were slightly to loose for me and didn't burn as smooth. I got some great flavors out of this smoke. A little spice, followed by some toasted wood. Great balance. I was impressed by the strength considering that it is a cameroon. Fantastic value. A great smoke.

I agree with the first reviewer in that this is a good cigar, bur I'm also not yet convinced that this is better than the corojo. Still, it's possible that some time in the humidor will convince me that this is the best of the Camachos. What I found most interesting was the difference between the lonsdale and the other sizes. I found the others to be much fuller bodied than the lonsdale. I'm generally a mid to full bodied smoker, so I know I'm not reacting to the strength when I say that I found the lonsdale to be the best of this bunch. The flavor was more complex and subtle. It's one of the few times that I prefer the lonsdale of a line.

Ordered some of these off the web and lit this one up right away. Good construction, straight burn, mid bodied Cameroon spiciness. Excellent smoke. I don't know if I agree that it is better than the Corojo like they say... I'll have to smoke a few more, which won't be much of a chore.
