"Fantastic"
I smoked the 08/22 version which is a torpedo. I have requested they add this cigar 3 times and they havent done it so im just going to post under this cigar. In terms of flavor i must say this is up there in the top 5 of my favorites. I will warn you that this is a VERY strong cigar and should be smoked slowly. I was feeling it at the end big time. I got a 10 pack from CI for 4 bucks a stick and would pay $10-12 at Corona Cigar in Orlando. If you can get your hands on these they are a must try! Be Careful though!

"Great, except..."
...for the annoyingly loose roll which is a major drawback of every Camacho cigar I've smoked. It's a shame, too, because the Eiroa boys know how to blend tobacco. Amazing flavor and aroma, but the loose roll leads to uneven burn and eventual harshness toward the end of the cigar.

"unique and very strong"
I must say I have never tasted another cigar like it. Distinctively spicy with a nice sweetness to it. Leather up front followed by a bit of spice and a long sweetish finish. And that's just the first half of the cigar. Second half is just sheer step on your throat until you beg for mercy power. A wave of heat came over me and when no one else in the room felt warm I knew it was over. Another couple of puffs was all I could take before walking away. I will try this on a fuller stomach next time. it will be worth it.

"I'm Even More Impressed"
I recently got a box with the new bands...and possibly a ramped up blend. Absolutely delish; relentlessly strong, rich, spicy and leathery. The draws have been perfect and even the burns are decent with some minor tending, which I don't mind doing given what this line of cigars delivers. The box price of $136 worked out to about $6.50/stick, which ain't too bad for what you get. Highly recommended for the experienced full bodied cigar fan.

"08/22"
Another very good cigar from Camacho. Picked them up from C-bid out of curiosity since I had not heard of them. I won 5 of these and one 07/05 two weeks ago. Great nic buzz from the spicy smoke but the uneven burn holds this one back. The wrapper held together even though it cracked in a few spots. On the positive side it has good flavor and is well worth the five bucks paid.

"Can you handle it?"
The first third of this beast is full-flavored, but relatively tame. Up front I noticed a sweet cereal taste and a salty aftertaste, but it’s surprisingly smooth. Full flavored, absolutely, but with no harshness. After an inch or so I ran into the problem that everyone speaks of: it really does not want to burn evenly. I struggled with the burn throughout the length of this stick and had to correct it every ten minutes, which is usually enough to make me throw out what I’m smoking and head to the humi for another one. But after after this just about any other cigar would taste like slightly warmish air.

At the mid-point the power of this cigar is at full tilt. The aroma is rich and heady, almost sulfurous, and the flavor is incredibly complex with leather, pepper and sweet tobacco. The aftertaste is earthy and lingering with a very long finish. About half an inch into the two-thirds section, after the bulbous part was nearly consumed, this cigar threw me aside like an old dish rag. It loses any semblance of complexity at this point to sheer power. This cigar is for serious heavyweights only -- I was able to appreciate it up to a point, but then it threw me from the ring. Great cigar if you can handle it.

"Good cigar, bad burn"
I am not a big fan of Camacho's regular corojo line but the 11/18 is definitely one of their better ones. Has a real rustic, almost oscuro wrapper with a strong earthy, spicy and salty taste. This is a very strong cigar. If you like to get buzzed off cigars, this one will not dissapoint.
What DID dissapoint me is the severe tunneling and re-lighting problems I had to go through with this cigar. Would not stay lit for more than a few minutes; I don't think I've ever seen it this bad in a cigar. After the fourth re-light (and I torched the thing), it went out again and I just gave up. It was humidified properly so I don't know what's up with this cigar. I suggest maybe making a big cut with this one and really light the foot up and maybe the problem wouldn't be as bad.
Overall a good cigar sort of ruined by the burn problems.

"A Great Smoke"
A dark reddish/brown corojo wrapper with an intriguing bulbous shape, this cigar just begs to be lit. It lights easily and burns and draws well. The taste profile is wonderfully complex, with notes of pepper and spice and a wonderfully sweet caramel taste that lingers in your mouth upon release. This stick provides the smoker with mouthfuls of this incredibly complex smoke. Goes great with aged bourbon. I made the mistake of smoking one of these on an empty stomach once and I was sick for about 45 minutes. So the caveat applies--eat before smoking!

"Out For the Count!"
You can see why the band is so humble, this stick doesn't need to prove anything. A definate man's smoke. Pure tobacco and leather that grew some spice halfway down. Strong yet smooth with a beautiful shape and somehow left no aftertaste. Burned uneven. Had a steak and a lot of booze in my belly. This thing knocked me out. Props to the Buena Vista Cigar Club in LA.

"Aged Well"
I don't know why this cigar aged into richness and the others I had were better when they were bought. But they are and have very good balance. Spicy with a rich tobacco flavor. Aroma very complex after aging. Be careful though, if overhumidified, this shape might tunnel. Age a few years,

"Very, VERY special cigar"
I stole "special" from reviewer Biblion. For truly extrodinary cigars, I try to smoke at least 2 or 3 before writing a review in order to dismiss any superlative flukes. I also think what makes an outstanding cigar is being able to have the experience over and over again. After experiencing four 11/18s over the past 18 months (from the 6 I bought) I must say this cigar is in my top 10 cigars I've smoked. Ever. Feels firm- like its overstuffed but I get effortless draw that gives off plumes of earthy smoke. You light it up and it hits you with decadent richness- it becomes more powerfull as you get to the middle bulbous part-but its strength delivered evenly. No one does Corojo like Camacho and this is amoung the best examples you can find. Bravo!

"Fair"
Bought a 5 pack based on the recommendations of fellow aficionados, and was disappointed. It wasn’t a bad smoke but at eight and a half bucks a stick there are much better at this price point. Absolutely no complexity at all, started just as it finished and tunneled in between. I am going to let the rest sit for a few months and revisit them but right now they are fair at best.

"Very Good"
I've always remembered kind of liking these in the past - had one tonight for the 1st time in like a year and WOW, it was good. Starts spicy and VERY smooth. Good creamy flavor w/ straight forward tabacco flavor. Ended w/ a enjoyable woody flavor. I remember these having burn problems, but this one burnt pretty even all the way down. GREAT looking, near flawless wrapper.

"One Year Old Specimen"
Smoking one of these after a year of aging confirms my feeling that 11/18s are special indeed. The first third was spicy and stinging with a touch of cedar, the second third tasted like horse sweat mixed with sugar, and the last third was just a slightly fruity corojo taste unlike any other. This stick got mellower as it got shorter. Always an interesting experience smoking one of these, from the great shape to the astounding taste.

I loved everything about this cigar but the burn. It went from crooked to full-blown tunneling. The flavor was typical Camacho Corojo, full yet smooth, with a great aroma. Straighten this thing out and they have one of the finest. Recommend

This cigar is trying so hard to make a big deal of it's self, it had to disappoint. Don't get me wrong, it's a quality smoke, it's just not amazing. In fact, I liked the less expensive plain Camacho Corojo line better. Don't waste your money.
