"Proud to be an America(n)"
The ring guage and time in the humidor were significantly greater than that of the CAO America Potomac, perhaps that's why I rate the Landmark a little higher especially in taste. A beautiful cigar and obviously build with expertise. The taste is above average, particularly if aged six months or more. A bit overpriced IMHO, but you be the judge.

"Worth a try"
Beautiful in appearance. Draw just a touch tight. Flavor 'thick', hard to describe. Woodsy or nutty maybe with a coating to the tongue. I've had five now w/o any construction issues- maybe I'm lucky. I'm not sold on a full box, but they're different enough to be worth a couple samplers.

"My re-review"
Yes, much better. Obviously my previous experience was over humidified, as are so many sticks at B/Ms, way too many. And I'm supposed to buy something every time I walk in? How about if I buy something then pull out a properly aged and cared-for cigar and put the new one away for a few months? Anyway, sorry about the rant but this cigar is nice tasting, perfectly drawing with a nice aroma but the construction in seemingly all America vitolas is lacking because of the fancy barber-pole wrap. Of course, mine unraveled even though the burn was good and straight. If you can put up with this constant problem then this can be a nice cigar.

"overrated"
Clearly overrated. I have previously reviewed the robusto (Potomac). This cigar had a bad slow burn. Really bad when you consider it was not plugged. The flavor was akin to water - nothing there, nothing. I have one more of these and one more robusto. If they smoke better I will re-review, otherwise, tough luck. Disappointed!

"This cigar is a monster"
I really enjoyed this cigar so much so that it reminded me of an Ashton VSG, though not quite as good. The appearance was great and the taste construction were solid as well would definitely recommend is the fullest bodied cigar CAO has.

"Impressive, Part II"
I'll echo everything jeffinchi said, though I thought the flavors resembled the Brazilias and Italias more closely. It initially tastes like a "darker roasted" version of those lines, and then the flavor journey begins. It's no wonder they are scarce and pricey. Those lucky enough to get one will undoubtedly be out for more!

"Impressive"
At first glance, one might chalk it up to another CAO flash-in-the-pan stogie with it's annoyingly bright and shiny label, but this stogie blew me away. Has a fancy curled/ pinstripe barbershop pole appearence that grabs your attention in the humidor. Fairly strong at first couple puffs, but the flavor changes five or six times until the end. Had a similiar taste as the golds and cameroons but with an spicey/earthy/cocoa/creamy/buttery taste that made it a pleasure to smoke. Set aside an hour and a half to enjoy this at some point, it's worth the hefty price tag.
