"Very Good"
Great cigar. Full flavor with a leathery, woody flavor that explodes about 2/3's of the way down.

"Exactly What I Expected"
I've been a fan of the "Go!" for a while now, and figured since this site ranked the "Impanema" a little higher, I figured it was worth a try. I should mention I am normally drawn to robusto cigars. Nevertheless, this was an enjoyable smoke. If you have tried the "Go!", imagine a tighter draw and less spicy flavor and you'll have the "Impanema". Fine cigar to be sure, but I'll stick with what I enjoy

"Another good Brazilia"
A typical awesome Brazilia. Appearance, construction, and flavor make this brand one of my favorites. just a bit tighter draw than the Gol! and Samba.

"Still young but the good die young"
I smoked this one after much debating - I bought 10 hoping to wait and give them some age but well they got the best of me. They had a very "barnyard" smell when i first got them it have mellowed. They look great nice wrapper only 1 or 2 subtle veins. I did not find it harsh despite the age. I notice the roast coffee flavour. Ash was nice and white but fell off only after 1 1/2 inches. Some burn issues - it is not razor sharp by any means but still burns well. Nice stick especially at the price hope to get some age on these and try the next one when it is "ready".

"Great flavor, but not well constructed"
I don't know what it is--perhaps just bad luck. Brazilias give me more construction woes than any other of the CAO cigars. To tell you the truth, I've never been quite the fan of the Brazilia as I know most smokers to be. That said, I still think the it is a fine smoke, and this savory churchill was no exception. This cigar had been resting for about a year and a half, and it is now apparent to me that these smokes get better and better with age. From a flavor perspective, this was probably the best Brazilia I've ever had. Young, I think they can be exceedingly harsh, but this cigar remained smooth throughout. It is a leathery smoke to be sure. Unfortunately, during the first half it canoed despite repeaed touch ups. I finally got the thing evened out about half way through, but I HATE having to deal with construction flaws when I just want a relaxing smoke. Nevertheless, these Brazilias are a fine smoke, although I prefer the MX2, Black, and Italia.

"Very Good"
I really like this cigar. It compares to a Fuente Flora Fina. Absolutely beautiful wrapper and all around high quality cigar. Good flavor with no bitterness or bite.

"Big & Rich!"
Keep your Pepin Garcias, your Padillas and the other over hyped Johnny come latelys. This cigar delivers a solid "man's" maduro flavor and strength without waiting 6 months to a year. I've not appreciated these smokes as much in the past as I do now. I don't know why, but it's my loss. This is a great full flavored and very nearly full bodied experience.

"Great CAO!"
I love this smoke - I find these to be the best of the Brazilias - better than the Gol. Very smooth - great flavor and a PERFECT burn and draw. I want more!

"I Loved It"
I got these on a special and stuck them in the humidor for a few months. During the Holidays, I decided to try one since I have heard a lot about them lately. I wish I had bought a box. These are great!! Lots of flavor (chocolate with a roasted coffee undertone), nice draw and even burn. I smoked it to the nub and loved it. Good bang for the buck.

Got a few of these as a freebie and kicked myself for not having tried them sooner. Beautiful appearance, aroma. Exellent burn, rich dark bitter chocolate with a honey like core. Fantastic piece of work, Bravo!

"Delightful"
First few out of the box...I gave it a 6...after a a couple of months in the humidor it's easily an 8. This is a very flavorful, but also very smooth cigar. A couple of them had breaks in the wrapper. Burns a little uneven. Overall a great cigar.

"Outstanding"
Hoo boy! Pretty potent. I prefer a medium-bodied smoke, so this one is a little strong for my tastes, but I thought I'd try it anyway since I've never smoked a full-bodied cigar before. Even though its powerful flavors are not my preference for an everyday smoke, I have to admit I enjoyed this one. It has a nearly perfect burn and draw and a dark-roasted-like, spicy flavor. If you prefer full-bodied cigars then look no further. You'll probably have a hard time finding one that can top this. A very satisfying cigar for lovers of full-bodied smokes and a terrific value.

"Solid"
The look on all the Brazilias are phenomenal, the Impanema is no exception. The flavor really surprised me with its complexity, the first half having dark chocolate, and leather, the second half having cream, and spice. I don't know what the people who complain about harshness are talking about. The one draw back would have to be the burn, quite uneven throughout the smoke. Note to everyone: the more age the better. Highly recommend.

"not for the timid"
This cigar was fantastic, very spicy, rich and complex, but you better fasten your seatbelt because this is a no holds bar full flavored cigar. Great burn and draw, thick rich smoke, but a tiny bit rough around the edges. Started out very powerfully but mellowed slightly half way.

"Age, then enjoy"
These are great smokes IMHO, but I'm used to smoking them after having aged them a year or more. Bought & smoked one in the local cigar lounge recently, and it wasn't as impressive. Give 'em time to mature.

"One of the Best"
I bought this flat little baby after reading others reviews on this site. A delightful relaxing smoke. It was wrapped in a beautiful fine dark wrapper with subtle bumps and lines. The draw was a bit tight but the smoke was awesome and flavourful and well worth a little extra effort. The cigar burnt beuatifully with an easy 1.5 in ash - the taste started off nutty and sofy and stayed that way throughout.

"Quite nice"
I've had a few of the Pirhanas and decided to try the churchill. I found this one a lot milder than I expected based on the smaller cigar, the wrapper came through in the taste, but it was not overpowering. Burn and draw were perfect, I ended up purging it a few times as it got smaller but I smoked it to less than an inch - did I mention the beautiful ash? Nice flavors, lots of smoke, an enjoyable experience.

"Fantastic!!!"
THis cigar has it all for the full bodied maduro lover. This cigar is an interesting journey from Spicy ,earthy, semisweet chocolate ending with a spicy coffee and leather finish. What a great blending job.And Oh yeah ,the draw was nice .That was the biggest suprise from CAO!

Picked up two for the price of one. The last CAO brand I have tried and perhaps my favorite. A smooth and flavorful smoke. Wrapper started coming off half way through, possibly my mistake since I did drop the stick.

"One of the Best"
The Ipanema is one of the best non cubans out there. Just a fine smoke from lightup to the knub. Ash, burn, taste were all excellent with a nice finish. Like all the CAO in this line the wrapper is black perfection.

What an amazing cigar. This baby is one of the best I have had. The taste is full but not harsh. The flavor changes thoughout the cigar. Good burn, good smoke. BTW, one the THE best looking cigars on the market. C.A.O. hits a home run again.

"smoothie"
The only problem that I had with this one was that the wrapper came loose, probaly due to some rough handling on my part when transfering humidor to humidor repeatedly. Otherwise great smoke

"Great Smoke"
The Brazilia line has always been one of my preferred smokes but the Ipanema is by far the best. The others are no slouches but this one has got it all. Simply a great smoking experience. Smooth, flavorfull, just enough bite to keep you honest and a near perfect finish.

Tried this whole line. The Ipanema is the best of the lot, only because of it's size. The others need a major set of choppers to deal with them. Will buy more.

"Seemed a bit stronger.."
I'm a fan of the Brazilia line, and the first Impanema I tried seems to have a bit more of a bite than the others. Another success in the Brazilia line, and a needed addition from a shape perspective.
