"Black Beauty Deelish..."
I've smoked a few of these and found them to be a consistent delight. They are surrounded by a gorgeous oily Broadleaf wrapper and it is comprised of four country long fillers which make this a delicious and complex smoke medium to full bodied. I found that they do best with a relative humidity percentage of 68% or even less since they are already oily. Upon lighting this beaut, I noticed hints of pepper with nuances of spicy yet chocolatey flavors. The cigar became more complex mid-way and continued to be a smooth pleasant smoke to the nub. The construction of this cigar is similar to the Saint Luis Rey Serie G which has very few veins and nicely rolled. The volumes of smoke weren't as prevalent as the G but the draw was perfect for this size. I also have had the pleasure of smoking the robusto version which was not as spicy but was as flavorful as this behemoth gem. I will be buying more boxes of these if I can get them on the cheap. Enjoy....

"Good but disappointing at same time"
I have had the robusto and really enjoyed it. I had a Gordo today and thought I would enjoy the larger guage. Found the taste to be similar which I really like but found it too be tight and difficult to get a good draw. I personally enjoy the robusto better.

"Excellent"
What a great smoke. Very smooth, mellow tasting medium-full flavored delight. Creamy white smoke with this larger gauge makes for a long lasting and relaxing time. I enjoyed this cigar everytime from beginning to finish!

"needs time"
This cigar started off very promising. The first half was lush, chocolaty and somewhat sweet and a bit spicy but not overly so. Deep dark wrapper is a bit toothy and very nice tasting. Perfect draw and burn was pretty good. Any canoeing was quickly self-corrected. As is the case with so many cigars this one would benefit from some lay-down time. The second half was downright nasty. Bitter tar flavor made it un-smokable after the first 3 inches. Keep in mind, I didn't "over-smoke" this. I took it nice and easy and felt I was on my way to one of the best cigars ever. No such luck. Don't let the double maduro label fool you. It is not that strong a cigar. It is full bodied but not much more than medium strength.

"For those who love maduro the MX2 rocks!"
I've smoked 5 boxes to date and the the MX2 reigns supreme in the battle for intense flavor minus bitterness. This is the kind of cigar that you will find yourself saving the nubs to carry in your mouth, lightly chewing on them remembering the deep coffee, chocolate goodness previously savored.
